He was hired and came here on 5/14 to inspect a double awning on our new house and to fix a screen door. The owner came and gave us an estimate for the job, we thought he was coming to do the work, but he would send someone the next day. The employee came out on the 15th, looked at the awning and couldn't tighten certain bolts because he couldn't get to the bolts. He said that he didn't have the right tool, but still charged us what the owner quoted. When we called the owner because it wasn't fixed, he said that he needed to send two people. So he knew that he needed to two people to fix it. He said that he would have to send another man out again and charge us full price again. Why didn't he send the correct people the first time when he was already here and looked at it. We questioned his credibility and he became upset with us. We received conflicting feedback from the owner and the worker about what the problem actually was. When we asked about this he the owner said that he didn't have his glasses that day so he couldn't really see the problem. Instead of being apologetic he became defensive. This repair should have been taken care of the first time he came out since he never stated that he was just coming to give a quote. We ended up just ending the conversation with him. So we paid for them to do the repair yesterday it wasn't fixed and they wanted us to pay again for the same job.

Initially when the doors were replaced, they were shorter than the original doors and there was a gap at the top on one side. Though they initially left the job like that telling us that we had to repair this unevenness, after a phone conversation, the owner himself returned with a worker and they built a custom molding to hide this area of unevenness. Doors now look beautiful and you don't even notice the molding. Would highly recommend Ed Mojica's Garage Doors. Quality product and quality work. They work to achieve customer satisfaction.

Everything went extremely smoothly. Installer did a great job. He worked with me to make sure everything was installed as desired and explained all of the functionality upon completion. I love the new units. They are quiet and the remote access with my mobile device is very convenient and provides peace of mind.

I had more expectations than they delivered. I expected a lot more than what ultimately happened. They left the area fine.

Very well. The purchasing process at the store was easy with many examples available to look at. We selected a special order and it took the full 6 weeks for the doors to arrive. The installer was very professional and did an excellent job. He connected the doors to existing openers and fixed a problem.

He does garage doors. It turned out there was a neighbor who had the same frequency on their garage door opener so when they opened their door ours opened too. They are very good, came on time and the fellow who came out was courteous. He was young, but he knew what he was doing. He was on the phone with his main office all the time. He could not figure something out so he was on the phone with his office while he was talking to me. He got the thing straightened out and it did not take too long.

Mojica did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable and they were very professional.

They are excellent! They are reliable and very nice. They have a quick response when I call. The girl that answers the phone is extremely nice and knowledgeable, and they connect me to the owner immediately. There are no problems. They return my calls. I thought their price was reasonable because also I have shutters in Florida.

They were on time, efficient, did a terrific job and I’m very happy.

My elderly neighbor had a power surge from her utility pole which ultimately shorted the power in her home. After electricians had brought power back to the house we needed to get her garage door up and running. Ed came right on time and explained things very carefully. He replaced the motor and within an hour he was finished. Only after he left did I realize that we needed to sync up her car opener with the new garage door motor. I called his office, they contacted him and he was kind enough to come back to her house and give her a new opener for her car.

I asked them to come out and replace my garage door springs. When the service man arrived, he told me my door was shot and used the entire time at my home selling me a new door. I told him I'd think about it. He did about 2 minutes worth of adjustments to my door that was coming off the track often. They claimed the 1/8"-1/4" movement in door panels was cause of it coming off the track. He talked me out of the new springs. Meanwhile I found the same door he was proposing at Loews for about 40% less than his price. When I called them about the price disparity they said they can't compete with Loews, and I understand they are an installer for Loews. Meanwhile the door hasn't come off the tracks since that day. So now I can address my old door cosmetically.

Had a few issues with my garage door. This company originally installed the electric door opener and when I checked them out on Angie's list, they had a great rating. The employee that came was on time and did a thorough inspection. We asked about replacing the rollers and he said it wasn't necessary, thus saving us money. The door works great now. Thank you for being a reliable, professional company!!!

I called for an appointment to get an estimate for the job. He said it will cost $95 to do so, I replied no problem and he will call me back with a date and time. He never did and I called back and he apologized and said he would call me back and again he did not!

The service man showed up. He didn't even turn off his car (which was the first clue that something bad was about to happen). He got out, walked in the garage, took one look and said the system was too old and couldn't be repaired, and that we would have to install a new one. This took about 1 minute. My wife stopped him and inquired why he had not even taken the time to inspect the system. She pointed out some wires that were damaged. So he got out a ladder, re-spliced the wires and the system is now operating normally. For 2 minutes work and no parts he tried to charge us $95. My wife complained and the office adjusted it to $65. What is most upsetting is that had we taken his word for it we would have been laying out hundreds for a new system. He never even inspected it and just jumped straight to the conclusion that we needed a new system. Had my wife not pushed him to do more work, we would have been seriously overcharged. We have every right to expect that a serviceman will do at lease a reasonable inspection before trying to push us to a new system. And as a result, we are quite dissatisfied with this vendor.

The quality is exceptional. Helped us choose the perfect door and color for our home. The installers were great. They showed up on time with a spotless clean up. We will use this company again when we are ready to replace storm doors.

I emailed Ed after reading his reviews on Angie's List regarding my broken garage door. He emailed back right away, gave me his price for a service call but then said I should call and we could try some things first. So I called him the next day and John answered. I explained the problem and he had me try several tests on the door and then told me what the problem was and how to correct it. I followed his instructions and it worked!! He kept me on the phone until he was sure it was working. I saved a service call! He was great and I would definitely call him again!

I live in a 1908 house; I don't know when the garage was built. I asked for someone to look at my garage door because I couldn't open it either manually or with the automatic opener. I thought the pulleys were broken, but Mark, the tech, told me the torsion springs were broken. He also told me that there was no way to replace the springs because it was a very old door and the hardware is not made that way anymore. He said the door would need to be replaced. The cost-$1950! After sending him on his way, I did some research on the internet. I found that I have Crawford torsion springs and that they can be replaced by replacing the hardware. I have received two estimates from other companies so far-- one for $850 and the other for $500. I spoke with Mr. Mojica about this. He was very apologetic and said he would speak with the tech and tell him that he has to give customers options. I told Mr. Mojica that despite my repeatedly asking Mark if there was any way to fix the door, he gave me NO options. Either the tech is uninformed or he is in the business of replacing doors, not fixing them.

It went well. His men were courteous, and knew there job.

great job done by installer , would use again

I called them because my door was getting stuck. I had my door installed by a handy man who admittedly never did it before. The new door came with the new configuration but we used the old stuff. Instead of belittling me they cheerfully corrected the situation.

I highly recommend this company. The customer service (Nicole) was friendly and informative and the serviceman (Amar) was knowledgeable, efficient and took the time to explain to me what was wrong with the doors, how long I could expect parts to last, and what various noises in the system were. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely use them again.

Our existing automatic garage door opener was not working so we called to see if it could be fixed. With the wires hanging out it did not appear that it could be and that was confirmed by the serviceman. They gave us a price to replace the opener and it seems reasonable, They also stated that it would be done withn 48 hours. They called less then 24 hours after the quote and were ready to install the new opener. It was installed and setup without any problems. They did an excellent job

Everything went well. Job was essentially a garage door tuneup and was performed excellently, quickly and was reasonably priced.
