+ -1 moreI want to say, it was $1,700. Just really excellent work and explained everything. The price was most definitely competitive. The other thing, what happened was it was part of the original estimate from another company, and they did their electrical. We definitely wanted Tim, who came in to give us an estimate on the electrical to do the work. The other company got certainly a better price, because they contracted it out. But, he gave us a very good price and did the work even though we didn’t have the other company install the unit.

Description of Work: I lost power to one circuit in my house. The breaker would not reset, even after I unplugged everything from the outlets on the circuit. I called Jim Hanss, and he was there withing an hour. I thought it must be a bad breaker, right? He determined the breaker was OK, and after another hour of troubleshooting, he determined I had a short in an underground wire going to my post lamp outside? He was courtious, explained what he was doing every step of the way, and his final bill was quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Hanss Electric.

+ -1 moreRichard Hanss knew our horses needed water, so he came out quickly. That was very appreciated. We have used him for a few years now, including totally rewiring my mother's house. He is a very conscientious worker and does excellent work at a great price.
Description of Work: Richard Hanss Electrical Contractor put in an outside electrical outlet for a horse trough. The plug had gone bad, and we needed it replaced, so the water would not freeze in winter.
