Mike and his crew did a great job building my heated shop/garage in Brighton. Modern materials and construction methods. Has great architect. Knows how to deal with municipalities (I never spoke to them) on permits and inspections. I ended up with a great shop featuring a heated slab that costs pennies to keep warm in the coldest conditions. Lots of electric. Lots of concrete. Lots of insulation. It came out better than I'd hoped. Mike was easy to work with and communicated regularly with me over a period of months while the project was in work from 2018-2019. Mike brought great contractors to my job. I liked them all. Highly recommended.

They were wonderful from start to finish!! We're so happy with the quality of the job!! Minnehan was a little more expensive than some of the other quotes we received, but we definitely went with the right contractor!! They took the time to preserve/restore the unique character of the house. Something that other contractors were not interested in. They were professional, punctual and cleaned up after themselves. We have hired them to start work on the inside in 2013!!!

The work was completed on time and on budget. The windows were installed with no damage to the Teflon-coated aluminum siding. This was important as this siding is no longer manufactured. As promised by Mike Minnehan, the new kitchen looks spectacular. The Minnehan team is great to work with, polite, friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the help from Rob, his manager, who expedited all phases of the project, kept me fully informed of the work schedule, and evaluated the work as the project progressed. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went fine. All workers were polite, punctual, and did excellent work. We were so happy with the workmanship that we hired Minnehan Design Build to do some major renovations to the property in 2011. Those went well too. I think that Mike Minnehan really tries to satisfy the customer. He also seems to be able to hire competent and professional workers. They are a little more expensive than some other companies, but they really do good work. I'd hire them again in the future.

I told Mike that one of the bids was a quarter of the cost of his (and others) - and that the company I was thinking of hiring would guarantee the repair, and also actually went up on the roof and was confident that he knew what the source of the problem was. I said it wasn't making sense to me to re-shingle half the roof at this point IF it was possible to do a simple repair - the rest of the roof is 10 years old, with maybe a 15 year life expectancy - what was I going to do in a few years when the rest of the roof gave out? He asked me to hold off until he could have his roof guy look at the roof, and perhaps he could bid on a simpler and cheaper repair - say, $800. I agreed because I liked his (verbal) emphasis on quality, and the prospect of having a relationship with a company that could help me with other projects in the future. This took a week to arrange, and once they looked at it, Mike said they couldn't do a minor repair - clearly they thought it would be a nightmare to repair. I was annoyed that I'd been living with the leak for another week. So, I went with Yorkstate (they are roofers, only), and they did a terrific job, and they repaired the leak (guaranteed) for $650. I think probably Minnehan does good quality work, they have pages of references to attest to that, and Mike is pleasant to deal with, and he talks the talk, but I got the feeling I was getting a smooth but hard sell, for something that wasn't necessarily in my best interest. He didn't really look at my roof before giving me the first bid (in fact, he couldn't really see, because he'd just been to the eye doctor). I sympathize with them trying to keep body and soul and jobs together in tough times. I still would be happy to have them bid on future projects.

I'm very happy with their work. I thought they did a great job. However, once you pay them, they kind of forget about you. One board had a nail in it, and I tried to call them, but communication never really went through. However, I would recommend them overall.

I just wasn't impressed with that. They were very thorough and knowledgeable. They had a lot of ideas about things that the first company I spoke to had neglected to bring up.

Pella recommended Minnehan Design Build to install 13 replacement windows in our home. Mike Minnehan provided the quotation and followed up with the order on time.The installers arrived at 8AM and completed the replacement of the windows by 3:00 PM. The house was left spotless and the old windows were removed from our property by the next morning. None of the interior trim was damaged in any way and the windows look great. I can't say enough about the absolutely professional team that worked with me on this project. Fantastic job!

My primary criteria were retention of style and detail, finished quality, and reasonable cost. Unlike other excellent contractors who provide a quote, wait for a response, and anticiapte no response on some quotes, Mnnehan remained in contact to answer the owner's questions and demonstrate interest until a contract decision was made. I chose Minnehan because the owner who worked with me to reach a contract agreement understood the overall project very well, recognized that rehabilitation (not a residing job) was required, was willing to consider the details and propose solutions during contracting. The owner returned to our home several times to accomplish this. He stated that would provide a well experienced, expert vinyl siding and rehabilitation 'mechanic.' Minnehan delivered as promised and better. The small crew Minnehan provided took somewhat longer than some other contractor's large slam bam in and out crew. It was worth it. I am extremely satisified with the work.
