So as a former disgruntled employee I'd like to inform people considering this company on Mr. Seidels moral and ethical values as a supposed Christian. I worked for Jeff as a cabinetmaker/finish carpenter and while very satisfied with my employment overall one day a request was made for a job I was not hired for which I gladly took part in. The job was for a very very wealthy client and once I saw what was happening I expressed my concerns to him and offered another solution which he then responded that if I didn't do it I was fired. As the mother of my child was 7 months pregnant so I did it and predictably was badly injured. He then fired me and worse yet went in front of a court of law and lied which thankfully the judge saw through and granted me my compensation case. I have since lost my leg due to complications and hope you consider this before hiring this company. I will certainly lose my life eventually due to complications from his and hope you consider this before hiring

Original plan was to build upon existing decking of second floor covered porch. However, the contractor discovered that the original decking was not attached to the house due to poor original construction and complexity of original ductwork. The contractor removed all original decking, subfloor framing and insulation, and developed a plan to rebuild the ductwork which would allow the new subfloor to be properly attached to the house. New floor insulation (12 in.), floor joists, and subflloor were installed; new 6 in. walls were put up (existing roof structure was satisfactory); and new cedar siding was installed. The windows removed from the house wall plus one matching new one were installed in the new room, and the existing sliding door was replaced with a new solid-core door, with the remaining space filled in. The insulation was closed cell foam and fiberglass. Finally, the new room was drywalled. The owner finished the interior. Since some rot was discovered in the roof and the original roofing was 20 years old, the contractor was hired to reroof the house. The contractor's men cleaned up at the end of each day, and hauled away the construction debris.

He did a nice job and was very thorough and nice to work with. We needed a repair. They get high ratings and I will use them in the future.

I received same-day quotation after my call. Shingles purchased and work performed the next day. Work performed expeditiously. Received a fair evaluation regarding the overall condiition of the roof.

The customer service and work done was excellent. Picking out colors was hard for me, so they gave me a list of different houses they had done work on so I could drive by and see how they looked. They also gave me a list of references I could check out. There was no hard sale by them. When work started they were always on time and very professional and easy to deal with. Any problems or questions I had they dealt with immediately. We have nothing but high praise for this company. It is 2 years since this work was done and we have had no problems at all.

Very professional. The gentleman that did the estimate was punctual and the estimate arrived in a timely fashion. Estimate was very competitive. All the workmen were very polite and accommodating, as well as, conscious of leaving my home as clean and tidy as they found it. Overall, a delight to do business with.

We signed an agreement on Wednesday May 4,2011 with JB Sterling to remove our roof; supplies were in our driveway Thursday the next day. Friday morning three men were stripping off our roof. They finished Monday early evening on May 9th, 2011. The workers were extremely courteous and worked very hard the whole time they were here. This company did everything they said they would do. We are very pleased with the work they did and would easily call them back to do more work on other areas of our home.

Totally professional from start to finish.

All of the individuals involved in the job were very professional and pleasant to have in our home. The areas being worked were well isolated from the rest of the house to avoid dust leakage. Clean up on a daily basis was very thorough. Jim Cauley, who supervised the job, was in frequent contact with us to schedule work, to inspect the work, and to insure our satisfaction. He was very pleasant to interact with and was the individual who directed the investigation of the problem and made the decision on what the appropriate solution was.

They did an excellent work. They fixed the issue with the door right away. I had some other problem and they came out and fixed it. When I didn?t like something, they had the guy come back and redo the whole thing. They cleaned everything up.

We asked JB Sterling to give us a quote on a complete tear-off and new roof, because they have an A+ on BBB.org, and an A here on Angie's List. We did not ultimately choose to have JB Sterling replace our roof, mainly because we plan to sell next year and we didn't want the "Cadillac" of roofs. We do have some ventilation issues, which we explained to Jim, the JB Sterling rep. Jim was very pleasant and thorough, taking the time to fully explain all of our options and providing us with 2 different quotes, depending on which option we wanted. We even had a home inspector review Jim's quote, and he liked the ventilation solution Jim came up with (which none of the other roofers had offered). However, the price was too far beyond our budget range, although if we planned to stay in our current house until the day we died then we almost certainly would have gone with Jim's ventilation solution. Based on our one-time encounter with Jim, I would highly recommend people looking for a new roof to get a quote from JB Sterling, and be sure to ask for Jim!

We got the dining room thoroughly prepared for painting. They were very good and did a good job. I would recommend them.

Drywall and painting job was done meticulously and cleanly. The area was cleaned up and left tidy. Painter was kind, polite and easy to deal with.
