They are not inexpensive and finding the right fabric in their shop is not always easy but they have a wonderful selection, are completely professional, and do exquisite work. They do not do structural repairs (woodwork, damaged frames, etc.) and the work does not happen quickly but the results have consistently been better than I could have hoped.

Very well. Perhaps a little slow for some, but it was worth it for me in order to get the quality of work they provide.

HORRIBLE. They replaced the entire pillow with black fabric and threw out the georgeous cowhide. They never made the situation better in any way. The owner was rude, disorganized, and unresponsive. The interior of their shop is dusty and dirty...I will never go back there again.

We had an excellent experience working with Peter at Jand P Upholstering. He listened to us and as a result was able to help us pick our material and it is beautiful. Our schedule this summer has been hectic and Peter went out of his way to pick up and deliver the couch as requested. Most importantly his work is expertly done and we have a beautiful new couch. Peter is a professional and a pleasure to work with.

They did a nice job with the cushion and delivered the product on time.

We asked Rino to use our fabric and design and to complete the work in two weeks. He did an outstanding job and had it ready for us in less than two weeks, even though he had some personal demands on his time. We highly recommend him for anyone who wants high quality work. Rino was a pleasure to work with.

They did a beautiful job. I took the chair to them in late August and told them it was no rush since I recently saved the chair from being thrown away. Someone had purchased it at my parents' estate sale and had it sitting outside and was going to put out for the garbage. I'm so glad they called us because of the sentimental value. Jand P told me right up front that it would be a little while because they were backlogged and they were about to go on vacation. I said it was no problem. They called me about 6 weeks later. It was expensive, but I'm sure they had to revamp the whole chair. I had them cover it with brown naugahyde, to replace the former green naugahyde. The chair had also been maroon in a former life. They did a beautiful job with the fabric under the cushion, too. It was just beautiful, and I'm so happy to have the chair back and in great condition, hopefully to last another 60+ years!

J and P Upholstering were prompt, their quote was less expensive, I think I forgot to tell them about the ottomans and he was professional, friendly and he took the measurements. He didn't have the fabric that I want and he told me that I should look for it online, which I haven't done partly because I am lazy.

Reno came to our home on time with several samples to choose from, listened to our special requests to modify the Swivel Recliner. Reno then gave us an accurate price broken down into material, labor and tax so we knew exactly the end cost. He told us he would call when the material came in to set up a pick-up time. It took a couple of weeks until they picked up the furniture and only one week to return it looking as if we bought if off the showroom floor. Jand P Upholstery did a beautiful job and we would not hesitate to use their services again and to recommend them to friends and family.

My Father is a great woodworker. He had made me a beautiful hardwood dining room chair out of cherry wood. But he left the upholstery of the seat up to me. My Dad left a foam pad on the platform, and cut off the corners of the pad at hard angles anticipating that it would make the job easier for whoever did the upholstery work. When I got to Jand P, he immediately recognized the error in cutting off the corners of the foam pad. The danger was that once covered over in fabric, it would have a space and and quot;bunch upand quot; in the area. He politely brought the problem to my attention and offered to do the job anyway with the pad, giving me an idea of what it might look like given the cut corners. He also offered to replace the foam pad for a nominal fee. He originally quoted me $40 to do the job. When I went to pick up the chair about 5 days later, he said it would only cost $25 as it took him far less time than he originally thought. The man I worked with was honest. The shop itself is pretty dirty and dingy, and he has lots of fabric laying around gathering dust. You can tell the place is owned by a man, in other words. It ain't pretty to look at, but the work he does is top notch. My wife loves the outcome of the chair and that counts for tons. (I brought in my own fabric to have Jand P put on the seat).

It went very well! The two pieces of furniture looked like new; they did a beautiful job. I appreciated that the furniture was out of 9ut home for a very little period of time.

He said that it will cost more to reupholster it than to repair it. He asked for us to come to the office and he would show us how. We did and he gave us a needle and thread and showed us what to do and didn't charge us. He refused to take any money. We went back and did what he said and it is fine and I don't believe he could have done a better job. Me and wife want to let him do something eventually just to help him out. He gets all A's and I would use him again.

They far exceeded my expectations - very fast turn-around ( ready a day earlier than promised), good workmanship, friendly and professional service. I dropped off a set of cushions or them to fit and picked up all 6 covers within the same week -- during a busy summer season. They even made some extra welting for me so I can create a few throw pillows myself. Very fair pricing. I will be using them again!
