This person is an excellent mechanic, very knowledgeable about products and always willing to give you a square deal and then some. Obviously, since he makes house calls, scheduling can be a challenge. But I've used him three times, always get excellent work, value. And I will continue to use this service. Way better than the drop-off place.

I emailed this service and followed up with a voice mail. Two weeks went by and still no response. This is not a service that I would want to do business with or recommend.

Very well. He didn't charge me for the service call in the fall.

The owner is an awfully nice guy and a very good mechanic. However, he is very expensive. He is the only game in town if you can't transport your equipment to another repair facility so I guess he can charge whatever he wants and he does.

I own a lawncare business so time is very limited . I hired Steve to pick up a machine called Little Wonder . This machine is a leaf vacum/bagger which retails for $1600 dollars. So Steve called me when he found the "problem" with the machine . He at first told me over the phone that the motor needed to be replace due to a worn cylinder . The leaf vacum did have a starting issue but no smoke was blowing from the exchust . I tried cleaning the carb before the machine was picked up and no results The machine has very good psi in the cylinder . I checked my self to make sure . So Steve cleaned the carb and installed a new head gasket . When the machine was dropped off to my house it was running but not 100% , Which was a step forward because it would not running when it left . So now that it is April I had some spare time before mowing starts , So I went to the local mower dealer told them the how the mower was running and they sold me a replacement carb . The local mower shop excplained to me the carb is tough to clean since you can not take it apart fully. I installed the new replacment carb and second pull the little wonder leaf vacum was running like new . So I called Steve back to discuss what I had found and worked on . I was looking for maybe a little refund but not the full amount since he did put time and effort into the machine .... His words and I " We are done here " and there was silence . Steve hung up the phone on me . I would not suggest using this one man band of a company .

It went great! Steve is very helpful and knowledgeable and he didn't mind answering all my questions since this is my first riding lawn mower. He explained a lot of the do's and don't's and what to watch out for as the lawn cutting season progresses. It was made even better that he came to my house to work on it because then I didn't have to worry about the to and from for the lawn mower. I would recommend him to anyone who asks and will be using him in the future.

Work performed quickly and neatly. Honestly informed me that the second mower was worth less than the cost of repairing it. Was delayed an hour or so in keeping appointment, but did phone to notify me about the delay. The convenience of having the service come to me and the reasonable price makes this a good deal. The self-propelled mower was ready to go and performed beautifully.

Steve came to our home, did all the work he had said he would. I'm handy enough to change oil, sharpen blades, change belts, but when it is more I needed his help. Well done!

From our very first contact with East Side Mobile we were extremely impressed! That same day we called our broken snow blower was picked up...and they had to dig a path through the snow in our driveway to get it out!!! See what I mean...impressive! I gave them a no-call fix limit of $200 and two days later I got the call that they were done and bringing it back whenever I wanted. They brought it back, got it back into the garage and I paid the bill, got a "Thanks for calling us" and a tip of the hat! My husband came home from work, fired it up and it did everything a snow blower should do! It's great to know that this company is available and I will be keeping their number handy!

I highly recommend using East Side Mobil Service. Steve showed up and rebuilt/repaired my old 1972 JD snow blower. This guy is an expert in his field and if you observe while he works you will be educated on all aspects of your machine. Steve did a complete tune up, rebuilt my carb, replaced an inner tube, and did many other small adjustments and repairs that were long overdue. He does a good job to assess your equipment before he starts and provides options/costs... my blower is old, but chose to invest in more extensive work and glad I did, as am happy with the result and plan to keep this tank a long time. He identified and fixed problems that were overlooked by other mechanics. Very pleased with Steve's work and will be calling him again. He is good and his customers know it, so you may have to wait a bit for service. However, worth the wait, so plan ahead and give this guy a call.

Overall very pleased with the cost and services performed by Steve. Price was reasonable when compared to similar service provided by other shops, plus the fact that Steve came out to the house. Steve was unable to make the original appointment date, but he was professional enough to call and let me know he was running late and would not be able to make the appointment. He was on time the next day as agreed upon. I would certainly use him again.

Very pleased with service. I appreciated that Steve was able to fit me into his schedule so quickly. He was both knowledgeable and efficient. He was very personable; didn't mind all my questions as he worked. He offered to check other things on my tractor besides the flat tire that I called about, going above and beyond what had been requested. I appreciate the convenience of having the service performed right at my home. I would recommend Steve very highly; I will certainly call him the next time my tractor needs service or a tune up.

I was very pleased. Mower deck is much more level than last time Sears serviced it and I was thrilled that Steve was able to get my Mantis tiller going after I left gas in it all winter!

He assured us that the snowblower was fixed, and told us that he guarantees all of his work for 30 days. We paid him $359.74. My husband started the snowblower, and it worked. Two weeks later, on January 20, 2014, my husband went to start the snowblower for the second time, since it had been returned to us, and it wouldn't start, and responded exactly as it had the first time we had the problem. He called Steve, and left him a message telling him what happened, and that he expected him to pick up the machine the next day, and to find the problem, and fix it. Steve responded that he didn't like my husband's attitude, and wouldn't honor his 30 day warranty. I, then, contacted Steve, and told him that we expected him to honor his warranty, and he did not respond to me at all. He hung up on me. We are not looking for anything more than to have our snowblower fixed correctly so that it works when we start it. The issue has been resolved.

I think he's fantastic! He's A+ rated and I will rate him A+. I paid somewhere around $150 for the service call and the battery. The price was reasonable for what he did. He was great. I was very happy with the service, happy with what he knew about the lawnmower and I'll definitely have him back again in the spring to just change oil and get my motors running. He was really good.

Steve came to the house with the intention of replacing one worn belt on our riding lawn mower but ended up staying for close to 3 hours replacing other things that were wrong with the mower (multiple belts, spring, battery, etc). There was also a problem with the engine. We purchased the mower in May and there was already a problem with it. He informed us that he is a certified Briggs and Stratton repairman. He took the mower with him and fixed it with no cost to us due to the warranty. Steve is highly professional and knowledgeable!

Can't say enough about Steve. He runs a one-man show and is in such demand from word of mouth business, but it is all superb quality work. If you want a good man coming out to service your machines and ensure the job is done 110% right from the get-go, - go with Steve. He is very thoughtful and thorough. If you want someone to swoop in and just get the darn thing fixed for the lowest price - go with someone else. Steve is able to perform GREAT diagnostics and pinpoint the problem quickly but the repair work itself is very careful, thoughtful and deliberate. I thought my repair would take 30 minutes but it took Steve almost 2 hours, and in the end - breathed new life into an old motor. Althought the cost was a bit pricey $316 - it is probably fair if I average it over the past 14 years (~$22/year). I never had to make any repairs other than changing oil. When the belt broke 3 years ago, I and quot;borrowedand quot; my neighbors lawn mower and mothballed my trusty tractor under a tarp for the next couple of years while vowing each spring to get it going again. Three years can go by prety quickly when spoiled by convenience. Finally I tried doing the rider repairs myself and got as far as replacing the spark plug, putting in new blades, cleaning the deck, etc....but the belt was beyond me. Couldn't get it back together until Steve showed up and did his magic. Along the way he pointed out cracks in the gas line, a missing air filter, dead battery with no hope of restoring the charge. Now the baby humms and is probably good for another 10 years at least.

Work was fine except for taking much longer than initially promised.

Unfortunately (and my wife did let me have it) with my tractor mower I drove over a cable that was laying in the lawn and the cable tightly wrapped around the twin mower blades. I checked out East Side Mobile Service and spoke with Steve, owner of company, and he was out in two weeks to mitigate the problem on site. He was very professional and quickly resolved the issue. He also greased the wheel/steering fittings (which had not properly been done when I bought the mower) and adjusted the deck wheels since I was getting uneven mowing. Very knowledgeable and very reasonable. I will call upon Steve now for annual tune-up/maintenance to keep the tractor mower in top condition. Job well done!

Eastside Mobile Service came to my home to service my mower. Although he was a couple of hours late, once he arrived things went smoothly. He is fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He has been in the mower repair business most of his life. I would use him again. I thought his price was fair considering he did the work right at my home.
