Brian showed up at the correct time and was very personable. He was also concientious of the house by butting on boot covers and making sure he cleaned up well after the unit was fixed. He then ran a test through a full drain cyle to make sure we were all set. He also checked the lint filter area of the dryer to make sure it was not plugged up by the same junk that clogged the washer. About 45 minutes later we were washing clothes successfully.

We would recommend Brian very highly! He was prompt and efficient, very good at diagnosing problem, prepared and equipped. Also gave good (cost saving) advice. A real pleasure to work with with high level of professional competence - we will definitely use him again if need arises in future.

We have a newborn and a toddler so there is a lot of laundry in the house needed to be done. I called on Sunday night not expecting to get someone live, got Mike and he scheduled an appt for today in the late morning! I was really glad that he came out so quick! He fixed it and I have been catching up on the dreaded task ever since. He did it quicky, efficiently and was informative on what had happened.

Brian showed up the day after I called him to repair our dryer. Within a few minutes he knew what the problem was, had the part on hand, and repaired the machine for us. Brain did not object to wearing booties over his shoes which is helpful since we have white flooring. He is professional, and courteous. We would not hesitate to call him again and plan to refer him to our friends and family.

I called Brian on the afternoon of New Year's Eve and he was here an hour later. He diagnosed and fixed my washer and was in and out in 30 minutes. The washer works perfectly. Great customer service (on a holiday no less) and fair price. I would definitely call him again.

I called Brian to have him look at my 10 year old front loading washing machine - terrible noise during the spin cycle. Brian came out to the house the same day. At the door he was pleasant, courteous, and covered his shoes with booties so as not to track in mud. He diagnosed the problem immediately after listening to the spin cycle. Brian advised that it would be too costly to fix - the rear drum and bearing are attached on this model- he held his light so I could actually see the oil collecting where it did not belong. He answered my questions as to how long the machine might last and how we could prolong it's use. He is incredibly honest and knowledgeable. He will always be my first (and only) call with any appliance break down. His service call charge is reasonable as well. I recommend him highly.

I found Brian from a Google search for nearby appliance repair. Called on Sunday afternoon to leave a msg, expecting a return call on Monday. I was surprised to hear back from Brian w/i the hour. He said that Mike could come out the next day, mid-morning. Mike called to alert me when he was on his way. It was a rainy day and Mike put on shoe protectors upon entering my house, without being asked to do so...nice touch. The service call went smoothly, Mike was friendly, courteous and professional. I'm very happy and will certainly refer other people to Brian's business.

I called around 4:45 pm yesterday and he offered to come out the next day. He said he could come between 12:30 and 3. He called at 12:35 and showed up at 12:45. He had the part with him and the entire job was done within 15 minutes. He was prompt, polite and professional and the price for parts and labor was very reasonable. I would most certainly call him again.

The light bulb in my fridge blew, and upon replacing it we discovered that the new bulb didn't light. Within a few days, the fridge got extremely cold and started freezing all of our fresh food. I called Appliance Service Monday afternoon expecting to schedule an appointment for later in the week. I was taken by surprise when Brian told me that he could have a technician at my house later that afternoon. I was at work, so I asked him to call me 30 minutes before the tech arrived so that I could drive home to meet him. Sure enough, I got a call a couple of hours later and the tech (Mike) showed up exactly when he said that he would. Mike spent over two hours diagnosing and repairing the fridge. He quoted me $210 to install the required part, and the final cost was under $230. That was a bit more than I would have liked to spend, but far cheaper than buying a new fridge! And the most important thing is that the fridge is now working (including the light bulb). I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism, and friendly nature of Brian and Mike. A great experience all around.

I woke up to a warm refrigerator and called Brian at 8 am, he was at my house by 9am and the fridge was fixed by 10am. Great service and saved me a good amount on the food I would have had to throw out. With my dishwasher he showed up the same day I first called. Usually when you get appliances serviced you have to schedule days ahead of time. That has not been my experience with Brian Doehler applicance repair. I highly recommend them.

We called the day it happened. I had wet bathing suits and towels in the machine, and it wouldn't run. When we called in the afternoon, he said he could be there the next day- which was great to hear. He set up at time, was prompt and called when he was on his way. Brian and his partner were very friendly and professional. They worked for about 30- 45 minutes and showed me and told me all about what they had done. I appreciated all the advice and trustworthy service, and especially, the immediate response to our needs. We were very thankful!

We live in Newark and it was closing in on the holiday. Our fridge decided to stop cooling. I called more local guys who said they didn't come into Newark and if they did that it would take a week to see me. Got a hold of Brian and on the SAME DAY he came to our house as he was coming in our direction. He gave me an estimate over the phone which fell below other estimates (not that anyone else was going to come) and the total cost after the repair was right on the nose. He was fast, courteous and clean. Never even knew that he was here. My husband told me to wait a few weeks to make sure the work held before leaving our review and my fridge is going strong! No more calling around, these are the guys

The dishwasher didn't seem to fill after the first two pre-rinse cycles. We tried to diagnose the problem and had it pretty well narrowed down to the flood switch or the fill valve, but I know my limitations, and replacing either one on my own would have been frustrating and would have taken a couple of days. I checked Angie's List for appliance repair people and Brian's name came up first, with the most reviews. I called Brian and left a message, and he called back within minutes. I explained the problem, and he said that he could do the work that afternoon and that he'd call 15 - 20 minutes before showing up, which he did. He spent several minutes trying to re-create the problem, and when it occurred, he verified that it was a sticky fill valve. In the process of installing the new valve, he discovered that the press-fit connection on the existing copper tubing (which brings in the hot water) was corroded, so he replaced it with flexible stainless tubing as part of the job...no extra charge. In the process of troubleshooting and fixing the main problem, he also noted that the drain solenoid had a very tiny leak which would probably get worse as time passed...I guess it's time to think seriously about retiring our ancient GE dishwasher! Overall, we're very pleased with his skill, punctuality, and demeanor...we'd call him again in a minute.

He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and just overall excellent to have over to repair the appliance. The price was great also. I will use him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

Brian returned my call shortly after I e-mailed him. He accommodated my schedule and scheduled an appt. to come to my house. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem within 25 minutes! He was very nice and very professional, as was his assistant, Mike. I was very impressed that he had the right parts on his truck for such an old appliance! They were prompt in returning my phone call, willing to stop by at my earliest convenience, punctual about the appointment, and professional in completing the repair. Brian Doehler's Appliance Service fixed my icemaker on my expensive refrigerator after two different A & E “authorized” Appliance Service repair people could not figure out the problem and therefore, were unable to perform a simple fix of replacing a valve. The valve that Brian replaced was clogged, preventing water from coming into the refrigerator. Brian quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He exceeded my expectations. He is professional, polite, Bright, works effectively and efficiently, he is a great problem solver, and he gets the job done fast and correctly. I would recommend Brian to my friends and family, neighbors, and anyone who needs an appliance repair.

I called Brian first thing in the morning when I noticed my freezer had defrosted overnight. He fit me in before his first appointment and has at my house with 15 minutes. The problem was quickly diagnosed to a bad system board and the board was replaced. Brian was friendly and professional and getting it fixed quickly saved much of the stuff in my freezer. Brian even quickly fixed a burner on my stove that wouldn't light on the way out the door. The only small issue was there was wiring mix up that caused the fridge and freezer fans not towrk properly, but I called Brian and he was out first thing the next morning to correct the problem. This seemed to be due to some unclarity in the manufactureers documentation since the board supported different model fridges. Brian called again the evening after the second visit to ensure all was working as it should. He is now my new go to guy for any appliance issues.

I didn't expect to see him so soon. When I called him, he returned my call immediately. Within the hour he was here to help me. He was very efficient, friendly, and neat and clean. The deal I got was excellent so it was a reasonable price. If anyone wants to have a great deal, go to Brian Doehler's. I would definitely recommend him.

I left him a message on Wednesday at 5pm, he called me back in about a minute and arranged to come the next morning to look at our oven. He was right on time and even gave me a 20 min 'heads-up' call so I knew when they would be there. That was very helpful. From the minute they arrived, they were very professional and nice. They fixed the problem within an hour and now we have a working oven. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would call them again in a second.
