I arrived at the property at 1:31 and found that Angelo and his co-worker (someone he was training) were already starting the inspection. I was impressed by their punctuality. In comparing them to another company we recently used, I was glad to see that there were two men doing the inspection as I feel it can be easy to overlook something when there is only one person. Their equipment (tablet with new software program specific to home inspections) was very up to date. The inspection lasted from 1:30pm until approximately 4:30pm. I feel they were very friendly and easy to talk to, which as a woman is important because some men can be very intimidating to deal with. While I think they did a good job on the actual inspection of the house, I cannot say 100% for sure because it is now 11 days after the inspection and we still have no written report. I called on Friday, May 11th, which was 8 days after the initial inspection to see what the hold-up was and Angelo assured me that he was busy, but that he would get the report to me by Friday evening. Needless to say, it is now Monday, May 14th and we still do not have the report. I find this very frustrating because we paid him $365 to complete a service and I feel we have only received half of that service. More importantly, we only have 15 days from the DATE OF INSPECTION to bring up any issues that may have arose from the inspection for the seller to fix or for us to renegotiate our contract. At this rate, our 15 days will pass before we get the report! This is unacceptable to me! I gave them an overall rating of a B, but I gave them an F for responsiveness. Had I not called Angelo, I do not think I would have heard from him. * * After writing this review yesterday, I have decided to edit it as I think some of the categories need to be adjusted. For example, I previously gave them an "A" for punctuality, but after thinking about it, I think punctuality isn't just about showing up on time. I think that also has to do with the time it takes for us to get the actual written report. My husband and I each called and left a message with Angelo yesterday and he never called us back. We are now on day 12 and we do not have the report. Again, our contract only gives us 15 days to get the report and submit any issues to the seller. * *
