Terrific -- there was some creative thinking involving the bathroom light with great results, and everything was done very efficiently. However, there were a few hiccups in the scheduling and I didn't receive a bill until I called and asked for one months later. The bill was about 40% of the quoted price. If you don't have the luxury of a flexible schedule, RJOB Enterprises is not for you, but otherwise I was very pleased.

Mr. O'Brien came to our house initially and told us that all the thermostats needed to be replaced as they were not up to code. He also looked at the ceiling fan and offered to buy replacement light/fan. He left after he traded one existing working bedroom thermostat with another so that there would be heat in my sons room- charge 85 dollars. He sent us a quote for the installation of 6 thermostats, new ceiling fan/light for the bathroom and to troubleshoot an outside outlet. The quote was for 759.60 dollars. We spoke the next day and agreed to proceed with the work and an appointment was made. The morning of the appointment, Mr. O'brien called and stated he was running late. He came with his helper approximately 30 minutes later, he did not have the correct thermostats with him (he brought the same single pole thermostats that he told us were not up to code) We reminded him that he told us we needed double pole thermostats, he agreed, he then left his helper here to go get the correct materials. His helper needed assistance from us to install the ceiling fan, he had no ladder as well as he needed wood to install the fan which we provided. His cutout of the fan is in my opinion less than perfect and we will need to replace the ceiling tile around the fan light. Mr O'Brien returned with the correct thermostats at which time he left his helper to install them.Once complete, he removed outside outlet, was unable to determine problem and it was decided by Mr. O'Brien they would return to "fix" the outlet. Because we believed him to be reputable having achieved an A rating on Angie's List, we paid him in full and the plan was he was to call the next day to schedule a follow up appointment. Two days later, we called him because the bathroom and bedroom thermostats were not working. He told me he would call back to set up a time for his helper to address, he did not call back and the next day his helper just showed up without warning. He was again unable to fix, my husband spoke with Mr. O'Brien later that evening, discussed this lack of professionalism and it was agreed that Mr. O'Brien would come to the house on Monday at 0800 to fix the thermostats. He did offer to come on Saturday but this was not an option for us as we had prior commitments. Monday morning after he was already an hour late, we called him to find out where he was, he stated he an employee who did not show up. we asked why he could not let us know he was going to be late (as this is common courtesy). No explanation, just stated don't worry, I am on my way. Forty-five minutes later, we called back, no answer, mailbox full, we ultimately reached the office message machine. We at that point left the message for him to not come today and that we would call him to resolve this. Several days later we received an e-mail saying he lost his phone and a number to call. At this point, we have no heat in the bedroom and bathroom with wires hanging out of the wall. We know he has cashed the check and we trusted that Mr. O'Brien was an honest business man, evidently not. Angies List, how can you help us?
