Very well .... finished on-time, on budget. Professional crew who did a quality job.

I've known the owner since he was 14 years old. I had a very good experience with them. He believed in hard work. They have done many other job for me.

I have received several unsolicited postcards from this business directly to my home for over 8 years. I finally decided to set aside time to contact them to obtain a quote for the work in which I'm interested in having done. I get a response from an employee that they don't serve my city.....YET I've gotten several postcards (as recent as in October2020) directly from them soliciting their business and services. Asked them to remove me from their mailing list as it's contradictory to what any reasonable person would conclude if they also received postcards directly to their home from them. Waste of my time.

I had them come back multiple times to fix things before final payment was made and after a while they just left

"Bait & Switch!" Quoted the job, sent contract, started work and said ,"Oh we quoted wrong!" Then walked away!! Told us they would stand behind their quote. We offered kindly to split the difference and they walked away without the professionalism or courtesy of a phone call! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!

They were simply excellent. Will ask them for a quote when I do the exterior next year.

They did an excellent job, but fully priced.

,This was my second time using Korth & Shannahan for paint work. The first was nearly the entire interior of a recently purchase house. Both times they were pleasant, professional, quick to respond, accommodating of my schedule personable to work with, the work was flawless and so clean and tidy I would never have known they were there. This is my go-to for painting. I understand they do carpentry and recently, windows and doors. They'll be tops in line for any work I need in those areas as well.

Will Korth and his company are one of the best in the business. This is the second time his company has made my home look like new! His word is his bond. There was some miscommunication with the quote, but one call to Will and he would not go back on his word and did the extra work for FREE! Now, where can you find that kind of service in this industry. They are a little more expensive , but you get what you pay for in this world. I highly recommend Korth and company. They did a wonderful job. They were really great. We would so recommend them. The quality of service was excellent. It has only been since March so I guess time will tell how they hold up at the same job but they were very professional, very meticulous. They always showed up on time. They always cleaned up. It looks like a very nice job. We definitely would use them again. It's only the price; I think they were a little higher than some others but the quality was just probably worth it.

Everything went wrong on this job from unclear estimate (i.e. I asked for oak rails and fascia boards and initial estimate included fake wood fascia boards). The carpentry job was extremely poor quality with Korth having to come back three times to fix work. Korth acknowledged this poor quality but in the end wanted more money to finish the job. I have plenty of pictures and emails to prove this and would be happy to post if asked. Also have plenty of emails by Korth acknowledging the work was performed unsatisfactorily. The paint job was very good but the carpentry work bordered on terrible. As far as the deck staining went, I had to pay another $1000 to have deck cleaned before staining and after a couple of months the stain has already weathered away in some areas... I have previously used Korth solely for painting and the work was always excellent.

I unfortunately did not have a great experience. The professionals were very nice, however, the main foreman was on vacation while my project was being completed and communication was difficult. The paint bubbled in my daughters room, and old paint was showing through, which led me to believe they didn't prime first. They did come back to fix the problem, but its just more of my time. They are very, very pricey. I have had two different painters in for other rooms since, their prices were half, and the rooms look so much nicer. Both of the other painters (different companies) actually asked who did my other rooms because they thought it was painted terribly. Also, K and S does not quote you for a room- each piece of the room is a price which is ridiculous. I was left with painted walls (with the wrong finish because they never advised which finish was appropriate) and dirty and cracking moldings. Really looks ridiculous and subsequent painters did floor to ceiling at a flat rate, and lower cost. Also, when plastering holes in walls, they went over just the hole and didn't smooth out the entire wall to look as though it has one finish, so now I have a wall with different textures where the wall hooks were. Very rushed job. Would not use K and S again.

I've used him in the past. He went on vacation in the spring and didn't know when he'd be coming back. It was an excuse not to do the work.

The realtor gave us a significant discount coupon, which enticed us to use them, especially since we are new to the area and were not familiar with local painting businesses. As a direct result of their careless treatment of our home, they left the toilet running for 48 hours while our family was away waiting for the painting to be completed, and they flooded the bathroom and lower floors of the house, all the while congratulating themselves for having finished up a few days early. Upon entering the house, my husband and mother found a waterfall gushing out of the ceiling light fixture of the lower floor, and a huge lake of water growing bigger on the floor by the minute. The house that we hadn't even slept in yet had been turned into a complete disaster area by these painters. For several weeks, they denied that the flood was caused by them, and to add insult to injury they barely stopped to apologize after months of their harassing us for the balance of the cost of the original job. Now that I look back on it, I should have never given them the balance. It cost us thousands to pull out and replace the wet ceiling, walls and floors that they so carelessly destroyed. As a minor detail, all of our moving boxes were stacked in the living room, and despite the fact that the salesman promised that if they were moved to the center of the room we would not be charged, an extra was added onto the final bill. Do not use these people. They were like pit bulls trying to get every penny they could even after the job was overshadowed by a much larger nightmare that they caused.

Very professional job performed by this company ....preparations and cleanup met and exceeded expectations

We contracted with Korth Shannahan to come into our home when we were away over the Christmas Holidays and into the New Year. We were not here as we were out of the USA. Korth Shannahan came to our home on the scheduled date. They did a wonderful job all round. Paint work is excellent so was all the clean up afterwards. My daughters room was very specific with 6 different colors which were to merge into each other. This was not an easy task, Korth Shannahan made it happen and every time I pass my daughters bedroom door. I stop to admire such high standard of work. It is just such a perfect job. I have now contract with Korth Shannahan to do all the exterior painting of my home to start in May.

My experience with them was excellent. Everything about their service stuck out and I thought that they were superb. Their skill level of carpentry sticks out the most about them.

The quote was extremely expensive. They were very professional and responded on time. When they sent out the quote they gave me some options but it was still very expensive. I don't think there is anything exceptional in terms of what they have done.

I really liked them; they were very good. They were prompt to respond to my inquiry and were very professional clean; every night that they left you would not have known they were here. They taped off so that when they were sanding and spackling it did not go through the whole house. I got three estimates and their price was about the same as everybody else. I found a couple of things I did not like so they even came back with a couple of days, after I had already paid, to do some repair spackling.

They did a wonderful job. I used them 12 or 13 years ago. I got estimates from a few different people and they looked the most professional. They were not the cheapest but they were in the middle of the pack.

I will use them again in the future.

We had heard great things about Korth and Shannahan- they have an excellent reputation. This counted heavily with us as we had our previous house painted by that "national service company" and they did a terrible job. Will's team shows up every day on time. The crew is neat , clean, courteous and professional. We started out doing more work than anticipated and even changing some items- all no problem. The crew was more than willing to listen to my comments about the ongoing job. The prep work done was amazing...the results are just fantastic. We get many compliments from passers-by, but most of all, we are extremely satisfied with the results and with the whole process.

I initially met with the owner and was very specific about what i wanted. Nonetheless, the end result that his workers generated was entirely unsatisfactory. This was a small job but expensive for what it was. The company should have been ashamed to have demanded money from me as I was left with an eyesore. I had to hire another company to re-do the job properly. Other reviews for this business are clearly much more positive. Unfortunately for me, this was a very bad experience and i cannot recommend Korth and Shannahan.
