When I called and described problem the person I spoke to explained that no repair was necessary. Very scrupulous. Would call again if problem comes up.

On time, informative, courteous and professional. Quality work. Wanted the same level of success in their job as I did.

My gas fireplace was installed by Westchester Fireplace and BBQ Shoppe in 2008 when they were located in Eastchester, NY. I had a fantastic experience with them at that time - I love the fireplace and get constant compliments on its attractiveness and realistic-looking fire. My family and I use the fireplace every day from about October through May. I began to experience intermittent problems with the ignition and called Westchester Fireplace and BBQ Shoppe for a service call. They came within two days at the exact time I requested. It turned out that I needed a part that had simply worn out from the tremendous amount of use my fireplace gets. Richard, the technician, was professional, friendly and was very nice to my two little dogs. He completely cleaned the fireplace, installed the new part and had me back and running in less than an hour. I am now considering using Westchester Fireplace and BBQ Shoppe to install glass doors on my fireplace to minimize heat loss up the chimney. I would not consider using anyone else! They have been an excellent company to use.

.We've phoned them and emailed them more than 12 times and they haven't returned our calls or emails.They still have our $1,400. Such disappointing experience with a business that seemed trustworthy. As best we can tell...they appear to be going out of business as of January 2012.

It went very well. You make an appointment and you go into the store and give them your fireplace dimensions. At that time you're able to choose the logs and type of look you're going for. They have a lot of helpful brochures for that. You also make an appointment that day for the technicians to come out to the home. They showed up promptly, neat and did the work within a couple of hours. The quality of work was excellent.

The installation went well, but they had to come back as the equipment did not give enough heat and was too loud.

THEY MADE THE APPOINTMENT, SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID THE WORK THAT I NEEDED. EVERYTHING WAS OK. THEY DID KEEP THEIR APPOINTMENT AND THEY DID WHAT THEY HAD TO DO. I WAS SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING.

OVERALL, THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. THEY WORKED VERY HARD AND QUICKLY. I HAD HEARD THAT THEY COULD BE SLOW, HOWEVER, I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. THE WORKERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. THEY WERE ALSO REALLY CLEAN.
