Description of Work: Contracted to do a conversion from oil heating to gas. Included removing old oil fueled forced hot water furnace with a new high efficiency gas furnace. They also installed all new gas piping which also supplied gas to a clothes dryer and a stove. A new gas meter also needed to be installed (required by per ConEd). Everything was performed well from a technical perspective. One issue I had with them was on communication - letting me know in advance at each step what was going to be done. After signing a contract it took a while before work began and as I recall they called the day before they wanted to start work. This was inconvenient because I had to move stuff around in my crowded basement to provide them the access they needed to do the job. Doing a conversion is a lengthy process with dealing with ConEd and city approvals, etc. I also had separate contractors to remove my old oil tank and install a liner in the chimney as required by code. BruniCampisi also handled applying for rebates when the work was completed which was a big plus. I only mention the issue with communication so that they might be more proactive - I don't think it should stop anyone from using them. Each of their people I spoke with were competent and helpful.

Description of Work: We've used Bruni and Campisi a few times for emergency work. They have been professional and done good work although their prices are higher than just about everyone else. We used them over other plumbers because of their availability. The first couple of times we were delighted. They came within a very reasonable amount of time and came when they said they would. The work was excellent, the plumbers were pleasant and neat. The most recent time we called them to fix a frozen pipe, we had to wait until the next day because they were busy. The plumber who came seemed knowledgeable and everything went well except that he went upstairs to the bathroom without asking or removing his shoes or wearing paper booties. He tracked a lot of dirt from our basement up the carpeted stairs into the bedroom. I still haven't been able to get the carpet clean. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Description of Work: B&C came out to replace an outside faucet but could not access the basement piping. we Have to reschedule but they gave me the credit for the visit. Most places won't.

Description of Work: Removed old boiler and all radiator heating units, installed new high efficiency furnace, whole house Hydro HVAC including multi-zone AC units with air purification systems in both. All duct work was run in a 1927 built home while keeping in mind my existing structure. Some holes were left behind, but these could not be avoided and were compensated for accordingly. The technicians were amazing, knowledgeable and thorough in every step of the two week installation. I highly recommend using Bruni & Campisi for your Hydro HVAC installation. They know exactly how to do it right!!! A+ This is a classic case of getting what you pay for. I could have paid less for a lesser company - but I didn't and I have zero regrets in doing so.

Description of Work: I was disappointed because the serviceman refused to clean the boiler burners because" they were old and not worth cleaning". the following Sunday I smelled something unusual so I called another service (Alex) of Alex Heating. He arrived promptly and found a piece of styrofoam that somehow made its way by the burners and was stuck there. I did buy a new boiler the following year (2013) from that Company also listed here on your site.
