I have renovated quite a bit of my home and this was the WORST experience yet. The foreman was a scammer who was rushing me and telling me what I should or shouldn't do. Definitely did not like dealing with women. I would have cancelled the job once I met him, however there was clause in the initial contract I should NOT have signed, that would have given them money with no work done. 1. the railing was rusted day 1. Mentioned it.. they gave me paint?? Railings should not rust in a day. One year later there are rust stains all over my new steps, and the paint has peeled in many spots. We plan on replacing the railing in the fall. 2. the window. Asked for Pella. claimed AFTER they took out old window that they mistakenly got an Anderson. My guess is they do not deal with Pella. No matter what window, it was not sealed properly and still leaked as it did before we got a new one. Replacing all top floor in the fall, with a good company. 3. Wall to be taken down. For the most part this was ok. however instead of doing a clean/complete job they simply took it down. 4. path - broke a sprinkler head. but paid for it. Jan the foreman argued with me about how it should be. I thought I was the customer??? Ended up rushing to pick stones because i just wanted him to get out of my life. path is eh? will be redoing with colors i want. Steps have cement cracks where the risers meet the landings. Was like that immediately. Wanted heated steps. Jan argued. I will be replacing this next fall when I do the path and the backyard. 5. They suggested a front door company.. .Worst company ever!!! 4 trips to install.. 2 damaged doors.. door still damaged and still not installed right.. We have already picked the new door and it will be installed when we finish our kitchen spring 2018
