Jerry arrived promptly on time for the scheduled appointment, and was on time every day to complete the job. Very professional and we discussed all of the details to understand exactly what we wanted to be done, and he provided some options for us to consider. He provided what he would accomplish each day and when the job would finish. Halfway through the job he called and provided an update on progress, everything on schedule and what the next steps were. Job was executed with good housekeeping, tarps and cardboard laid to protect the floors, and at end of day tools and equipment were stored out of the way and area was clean. Job was completed on time and the result exceeded our expectation - excellent quality workmanship, professional service and I highly recommend his work.

So after hiring a nightmare of a tile guy, I began my search for a trusted tile guy that could correct the mistakes of the idiot I hired. My mistake for taking a chance on someone found on the list of Craig. After reviewing Angies list it was clear that Gerry of Buds tile was a top notch tile guy. The reviews were too good to not give him a call and that is what I did. Gerry was just about the most throrough contractor I have ever met. Explained every last detail about the mistakes the idiot I hired made and why it led to immediate failure. Gerry explained how he would correct the issue and make it right. And that is exactly what he did. Even though the job was small, he was so focused on the attention to detail and the result was fantastic. A great solid floor that I can trust my family to walk on. My mistake in hiring a goof instead of someone legit like Gerry cost me a lot of extra money. I won't let it happen in the future. Pay a little more up front folks. Don't do what I did. I will continue to use Gerry for future projects and I have already recommended him to a friend who will be using him as well. Thanks Gerry!

Gerry was OUTSTANDING! This fellow is a real professional who knows his craft and gives you the benefit of his many years of experience and up-to-date technical knowledge. He was prompt with all of his appointments and follow-through with telephone calls and status updates. The work itself was done extremely well. Gerry was very respectful of keeping his work area clean, as well as the rest of the house that he had to move through. He also made great suggestions regarding materials and finish. We've done a lot of tile work in the house over the years and wish that we had Gerry for those jobs as well. He is a real craftsman and among the best tradesmen we've ever encountered. Jerry was really professional and responsive to communications. He came on the day that we scheduled for and recaulked our master bathroom which included a Jacuzzi tub. We had not had this done in about 19 years so the caulking was in very bad shape. He removed and recaulked the tub surround, tile and counter. The job he did was excellent. The job makes this part of the bathroom look like new. Additionally, he left the place spotless - no additional cleanup required. Would use him again.

Getting introduced to someone like Jerry from Bud's Ceramic Tile is precisely the reason why we subscribe to Angie's List. I haven't come across an advertisement for his company, and being new to the area, would not have been able to get his name through a referral. After checking Angie's List, I saw all of the positive reviews, so I called him for a quote. As you will see when you speak with him, there is a reason so many people have left such rave reviews of him and his company. Count me among the multitudes of his incredibly satisfied customers. His professionalism, honesty, attention to detail and integrity is simply beyond reproach. We wanted a cost-effective solution to cracked and leaking tiles surrounding an old tub. This included some water damage repair. The prior owners apparently stuck tile onto old drywall. We noticed that we were getting leaks into the walls and onto our ceilings downstairs. Jerry gave me an honest assessment of the problem, and offered many solutions. Because a full bathroom remodel isn't in our budget at the moment, we went with a solution that ended the water leaks and rebuilt the surrounding structures around the old tub. It's been about a month since the work was completed, and we could not be happier with the results. Once we save up enough to do a full bathroom remodel, Jerry will be our first -- and perhaps only -- telephone call.

I first inquired with Bud's Ceramic and Tile for regrouting of the bathroom floor and tub. We have had serious problems with cracked ceramic floor tiles, cracking in the grout lines in the kshower and floor but mostly the several leaks into our newly remodeled kitchen below from the toilet. This was the result of a very poor remodeling job nine years ago from a very long established local bathroom contractor. We met with owner Gerry and he looked over the bathroom and pointed kout all our problems that we already knew but was hoping for a quick and relative inexpensive fix. The first thing he observed was by knocking on the floor where cracks in floor occurred near toilet that there was no subfloor. We suspected that but tried to block it. I forgot to mention we have had to have our kitchen ceiling repaired two times with plaster and drywall. Gerry was willing to do the special listed on Angies list. He also gave us other alternatives. We decided to remove the wall and floors install sub floor and another materials that was between sub and tile. Gerry recommended the tile we should look at and had us go to his dealers showcase. A lot of choices great display and professional knowledgeable staff. The nest day he was demolishing my bathroom. To our surprise, there was no sub floor, the old linoleum floor was just retilled over. Gerry had to rebuild around the toilet and put in new flange. He also did all the demo and cleanup. What a mess and disappointment that we paid all this money for a shoe-maker job. We were confident in Gerry and the one thing that stuck in my head was what he said to us..."If you do a job the right way I won't have to return"! He was right, the bathroom came out georgeous. His ceramic cuts, accuracy, in addition to his design ideas, we now have a show stopping bathroom!!! He did plastering to fix the walls that were hidden by wallpaper (just painting this round). We just had our living, dining and kitchen installed hardwood floors. He repaired a section a small counter' tile and backsplash that needed to be cut to be level. So perfect, you would never have know there is a slight difference in the remaining backsplash and tile. Finally. We were advised not to put hardwood in the back hall that leads from the outside. I was disappointed but then Gerry came with wood porcelain tile that almost perfectly matched my hardwood. We loved the look and continuity the new porcelain tiles added to our new hardwood. I cannot say more about Gerry the owner. His work ethic, professionalism, his ability to take our vision mixed with his suggestions and gives you what you envision with such mastery workmanship. I highly recommend Gerry and Bud's Ceramic and Tile. This is true artistry and talent!!!

I used the $99 for 2 hours of work deal. Jerry was very professional and helpful. He came in and assessed my issues and immediately started working on fixing them. The window in my shower needed a lot of attention, more than 2 hours worth, and Jerry was kind enough to stay until the work was complete. He did a great job and the shower/bathtub looks 100% better than before. I would highly recommend him.

Gerry with Buds Ceramic Tile was extremely professional and was willing to do the research on what we needed if we wanted this job done. He even came out to our house to take a look at our project and did not charge us for his time. It was an unusual request... to re-grout and seal a tile top to a bar with very close tiles. Gerry could have easily billed us for his time, but did not. If we decide to have the work done in the future, we would definitely call him back. Very professional and honest!! I would not hesitate to call him back for any future tile needs!

Jerry went far beyond what I expected. He not only caulked areas I pointed out, but did all other areas of the shower, etc that he saw were in need of caulking. He is part of a dying breed of craftsmen who are not only very skilled, experienced, neat, intelligent, and pleasant to have in your house, but who do whatever needs doing, even if he could have gotten away with doing just what I asked. Not too many contractors around who go the extra mile to satisfy a customer the way Jerry does. I would definitely call him again to give an estimate on future projects.

The shower looks great. He had to grind out and replace a lot of grout. He had insisted on previously stopping by to get an exact color match. The job done quickly and efficiently.

We got off to a little bit of a rocky start with scheduling but the once he got to the house the service was excellent. The shower looks almost new and the level of professionalism was topnotch!

Jerry is fantastic. Very punctual and accurate, wonderful to work with. He did a great job of answering my questions and explaining things to me. I will definitely recommend him to others and use him again.

Tub and surrounding tile were in pretty poor condition. Gerry took out all the old caulk and put in new caulk, and also cleaned the grimy surface of the tile surrounding the tub, which was very dark and in need of cleaning. It's sparkling now! He also offered advice on possible resurfacing of the tile floor. He was done in the two hours as promised and I would recommend him to others.

Mr. Ogilvie was very professional and did a nice job. I've had a lot of work done to my home since I moved to this area three years ago and have been disappointed so many times, but was very impressed by his promptness for both the initial estimate and the day of the work being done.

Jerry was punctual and immediately pinpointed the problems with my bathroom tile. Although the bathroom needs complete restoration, he was able to make the shower look good again and serviceable until we complete another project in early spring. Amazing! He was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be contacting Jerry for a formal estimate as we were impressed with his knowledge of tile and waterproofing.

The shower looks wonderful considering the original condition. I can now have guests use it without needing to apologize before they enter the bathroom.
