STEVEN'S CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: Needed new 2 new doors installed on a kitchen addition on the local fire house. These doors needed to be commercial rated, crash bar operable, tempered/wire meshed windows entry doors. One of the doors they installed did not swing the way we asked, no tempered glass, no wire mesh glass, no automatic closers as code requires, and it was a cobbed up, cheap residential door that would only ever put on a shed or something at my house. Steven's was also supposed to add a one foot by approx, 40 foot overhang to a roof over the garage. A ledger board was attached to the side of the build that is supposed to support the 45 degree braces to hold up the roof. This ledger is only a 2X4 and was secured to the side of the block wall using the concrete powder nails that you use a powder nailer with the little 22cal. shells, well the nail heads didn't even sink all the way. They are still sticking out 1 inch. He was also supposed to paint the interior and exterior wall that this overhang was placed. Couldn't be bothered to prep the wall first. They painted right over a bunch of mold with only one sloppy coat of paint, paint that was only to be used for wood, not the concrete block that the wall is made of.
