The technician showed up the first day at the end of the the appointment window, and at the beginning of the appointment window on the second visit. He was very knowledgeable and made several adjustments which put the garage door opener back into proper operation. Technician knowledge and professionalism was excellent. Quality and timeliness of work was excellent. Service not only diagnosed and fixed the problem but also did a complete inspection and tune-up of the door system. Both doors are quieter and run much more smoothly now. I would definitely recommend this Senke's service to anyone looking for a professional job at a very fair price.

I contacted the provider through an Angie's List message, reporting that my garage door opener had failed but it was not an emergency, as I could operate the door manually. The provider got back to me promptly via message and asked me to get in touch by phone or to send them my phone number. I didn't see the message until late in the day and had to leave a voice message when I phoned, but someone returned my call promptly the next morning. She asked my address and what brand of opener I had, and she scheduled an appointment for a few days later, specifying a three-hour window. The service person arrived about an hour and a quarter into the appointment window. He quickly diagnosed the likely problem as a defective gear, which he said was typical of my opener's brand and age (which he got from a label on the opener). He told me what the likely cost would be. His diagnosis of the problem and his estimate were both accurate. He completed the work in about an hour. I could hear him testing the adjustment of the opener as he finished, and visually it looks as if the slack in the chain is what it should be. When he had finished, he came to the front door, accepted payment, gave me a paper receipt, and offered an email receipt if I wanted it. He was pleasant and courteous, a pleasure to deal with.

Gave us a few hour window when he said he was going to show and then gave us a call five minutes ahead of time within that window indicating he was on his way--maximized convenience for us, and much appreciated. Technician was utterly proficient and professional, and polite to boot. Explained everything as he went. Greased a bearing that would only be accessible during a torsion spring change, which as I see it, he didn't have to do, and for which he didn't charge extra. Replaced a malfunctioning safety sensor also for no extra charge. The tech went so far above and beyond in terms of service and professionalism, but unfortunately I did not catch his name.

They came on time, and looked at both doors. Replaced the mother board for the automatic garage door opener, and added tension to both doors. Also gave us a quote on adding an automatic opener for the other door. They fixed what was broken instead of trying to replace the whole system which wasn't needed.

He was punctual. He replaced the old damaged door and removed all the debris. He was courteous and professional.

This could not have gone better! We recently moved in this house, and discovered that our garage door was grazing the header as it traveled in the down cycle. It made a loud scraping noise and sometimes even set off the safety. We thought we were in for a big repair. After checking Angies List, we opted for Senke due to their good reviews, and crossed our fingers. Tim Senke (third generation in the business) arrived on time, and thoughtfully inspected the door, trolley travel and opening. He then concluded that a simple adjustment would solve the problem. After a few turns of the screw driver on the motor travel, the door now travels smoothly. "Gee, that was quick" I said, and then asked what I owed. (I was told a service call was around $70). "Oh, I just made a simple adjustment. I won't charge you for that." I can't promise that you will get away with no charge, but based on my experience you will get prompt, fair and professional treatment. I highly recommend

I found them on Angie's list after repeated calls to another company with no response I sent CNY garage doors an email through Angie's list and got an immediate email back. I called got a very nice lady on the phone who worked with me and found out my needs and we scheduled an appointment. The service man arrived on time very business liske and went right to work and got the job done in about an hour. I would recommend this company for any job they would do, I am sure it would be great.

The service person came out, was on time. I wasn't home from work yet but he stayed at the house, gave me a call and waited for me to get there. He was courteous, professional, and a all together nice guy. He got to work quickly and completed the adjustments in a short time. There was no hidden costs, and he even knocked off the Angie's list discount without me asking. My doors are now closing smoothly and make very little noise compared to before he came.

From first telephone contact with Senke's CNY Garage Doors operator, then meeting with salesman and finally interaction with installer I was impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. The whole process was a breeze and I am very happy with with my new garage door and with the experience of working with Senke's. I would highly recommend them.

The first technician came to see if the old opener could be repaired. He was prompt and professional. Because of the age of the unit, parts were no longer available. He gave estimates for a new garage door opener and installation if they supplied the unit. He also gave me a labor only estimate and told me which units they would install, if I purchased it elsewhere. In addition, he gave me an preliminary estimate for a new garage door when I am ready to replace the existing door. There was no charge for this initial visit. After purchasing a new opener, I called to schedule the installation-only service. The office staff was pleasant and accommodating in scheduling the appointment. The installer arrived as scheduled, assessed the situation, and told me the work would take 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete. He completed the work in the time-frame indicated, showed me the new features and answered the questions I had. The cost was as estimated, less the Angie's list coupon. I have had no problems and everything was done in a neat, professional manner. I will definitely call them again when needed.

Existing aluminum garage door was not insulated, damaged, and the springs were on the verge of failure. Senke came referred from a co-worker who recently had 2 doors replaced in his home. Senke was quick to setup a quote appointment, which the fellow assigned was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product and install work required. Upon deciding to go with Senke, we visited their showroom in Clay, NY to view available colors and window options. It was very nice to be able to see the options prior to placing the order. Once the order & deposit was made, it took approximately 3 weeks for the phone call to come to setup the install date. On the install day, the installer arrived on time, and went over the installation details with me prior to starting work. The day of the install was a cold on in CNY, with windchill and temps sub-zero, but he was able to efficiently install the door and opener in 4 hours. The fit and finish of the work was great, and we have had no issues thus far. I did find some loose debris from the removal/install in the spring after the snow cleared, but that is something that is difficult to avoid due to the conditions of the install.

I called Senke's on Tuesday and was told a representative would arrive between 10 and noon on Friday. Dave arrived promptly during that period. When the garage door spring broke, it also dislodged the circuit board that receives the signal from our remote opener. After Dave replaced the broken spring, he asked me to try the remote opener. When it worked properly, he said we could probably get several years of service from the current opener by replacing the springs on the one door. We decided that it would be best to replace the springs on both doors. Dave replaced the springs and serviced both doors and openers. The work was performed promptly and professionally. The charge ($139.32) was fair and we were happy to resolve our problem for that amount. We would recommend Senke's to anyone who needs work on garage doors. We were very happy with their service and prices.

I got many quotes before choosing Senke's to install my garage door. They offered a great selection, many styles and options as well as the best blown-in insulation (highest R-value). I am very happy with my selection and the service/installation.

Wonderful! The woman answering the phone was professional and helpful. Dave was extremely professional, somebody who could make good eye contact, give a good handshake and clearly describe the problem with the door and their fix. Excellent customer service and will hire Senke again!

Their pricing was extremely reasonable. It was a good experience. He had very good personality, was knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He had recommendations, gave me pricing, and explained everything he did.

I remember we did some research and felt that the price was fair for what we got. The installation was very good. They actually hooked my garage door, opened it up too, even though that wasn't part of the deal. I appreciated that extra effort. I did call them recently because we had some damage on the door. We have had them back to give an estimate for replacing the door because of some damage but they felt that it wasn't really necessary to replace the door. They gave us a quote anyway. I felt that they did a thorough assessment of the damage.

All of a sudden on Easter Sunday, the garage door would not close all the way and reverse itself. A week and a half later, Senke came by and determined that somehow one of the sensors came loose & re-attached it. The whole job took 15 minutes or so. The repairman explained which sensor does what and that all of their work is guaranteed for a full year.
