 + -1 moreSomeone got back to me after my email, saying that the estimate was already done and sent to me. I called to say it hadn't. I yes, he said, he'd try again. I left him a message saying no luck about a week later. Heard 0 again. All together 4 weeks trying. I gave up, since he/they apparently had! Too bad really as I'd heard they had a decent reputation. I think this was outrageously unprofessional.
Description of Work: I was looking for an estimate for a somewhat complicate replacement or patch/seal of driveway and parking area. I used their online form to request it. They promptly contacted me about an appointment, but on the day of, they called me and I thought they were a random call. The speaker was unintelligible, due to bad connection, speaking impossibly fast and talking about my having called them about a plowing estimate, and that they had been here before. Since it all sounded so weird I told him I wasn't interested and they would have to contact the landlord. (I was authorized to get estimates for him to consider.) He hung up. Later in the day I realized it might have been the company trying to confirm, so I quickly called to say that. It was too late, but the guy called me right back to say he'd call me in the am about whether he could come out on Saturday. Heard 0. I called the office again on Tuesday or Wednesday. He was going to get back to me. Next day, hearing nothing, I wrote an email as I had originally done, in hopes that my message would get through.

 + 1 moreVery well. Difficult job to grade - much material needed to be removed, much of hard-to-dig clay, very gentle grade over long distance. Job parameters I needed met were pretty specific in order to address / resolve a long-standing drainage issue. In the end, drainage issues were indeed totally resolved. Despite eventual need for top-coat (next-year), driveway is quite presentable as is - this upgrade was needed to put house on market with any reasonable hope of expedited sale.
