Description of Work: Moved contents of our 1200 SF house to our new home 1.5 miles away. For the most part, the move went well with only a couple of damaged items. The crew was friendly and polite, if a little slow and inefficient. The company charges by the hour, and the job could likely have been completed more quickly. In addition, we had no warning before the move that we would be charged the hourly rate for the three hours between closings while our belongings sat on the truck while the movers had an extended lunch break.

+ -1 moreThe movers (3 men) arrived on time and listened to my instructions to what furniture I wanted loaded on first so that it would be the last to come off and were placed so that it would not block the movers going in and out of the house. The lead mover who loaded the truck had a few years of experience with A+ and was very knowledgeable. The move was smooth other than the truck was not big enough and we had to make 2 trips (no problems because we were only 8 miles away). I was glad to do the 2 trips than to have my belongings shoved in just to make it fit!!! It was a very hot day and the guys worked hard. The only problem I had was that they had to move 3 very high and heavy oak bookcases upstairs to the loft. As they turned to go up one of the bookcases scratched the new hardwood floor in 2 areas. The head mover took pictures and contacted Don at the office. I was contacted by Don within an hour. I was told they would take care of it immediately . He was true to his word, by the next day he had sent 2 flooring companies out to evaluate and quote. He also asked me to do the same, which I was happy to do. By the following week we both decided on the company to fix it and they were out the following week! WOW all done to my satisfaction and very quickly. I was happy!
Description of Work: David arrived at our rental house the following morning after I called to give us an estimate, he was professional, gather info & gave me a quote before leaving.
