+ -1 moreOn 3/19/2013, signed a contract with this company to perform tree spraying on my property for the spring and summer (2013) season. The first spraying was to be done between 3/30 and 4/19 (according to my contract). When they didn't show I called the company and was told that they did have my contract in the system and that they would be here to do the horticultural oil spraying. The alternate dates were 4/27-5/17. I had called two more times to make sure that they would be coming and was assured that they would be here and that they would call the night before to let me know the approximate time that they would be coming. They never called, never showed up, totally disregarded their contractual obligation and worse, just kept misinforming me about their intentions to do the work on the contracted dates. I couldn't be any more disillusioned, annoyed or upset with this company. I understand that a date can be missed, hence the alternate dates on the contract. But for me to have called three times and to have been assured each time that the spraying would be done and then to have totally ignored my reminders as well as a signed contract is unprofessional and unethical. I would never consider using this company, ever again or recommending them to anyone. If you need tree service, I would give serious thought to finding a company that honors their contracts and doesn't misinform customers about their ability to perform the services they've been hired to do. To be fair, I checked my home and cell phone logs to be sure that I didn't miss their call. I didn't. They never called.

Description of Work: We contacted Hall's Tree and Shrub care because we noticed what we thought was a disease of some kind attckong our bushes. The owner, Mike, came to give us an estimate for spraying and he spent about a half hour walking our property with us. When we were done, he told us that we actually didn't need him to spray our bushes because they were healthy and his spraying would not help all that much. We had a few hemlocks that were being attacked and he recommended that we purchase some horticultural oil and spray them ourselves because it would be less costly. He gave us some pointers on several things we could do and we were shocked. It is very rare today that a business person would not only tell you that you really don't need his services but then spends the time to show you how you can take steps to help yourself without it costing you a lot of money....we were amazed. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his type of services.....a truly honest gentleman.

+ -1 moreI find this company to be courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Able to answer any and all questions about landscape. Services are made specific to your property, so you do not get applications that you do not need. I like them.
Description of Work: I had some applicaitons for my fruit trees that were not looking too good from fungus, or bugs. They are doing much better now. I also had spraying done for mosquitoes and ticks before my daughter's birthday party, this made using the yard much more comfortable.

Description of Work: They spray my plants and trees, and I've been using them for years and years. It's an all natural spraying for insects or anything that could distress the plants.

+ -1 moreMike was recommended by my new lawn care company; Scott at Green is the Color Lawn Care Inc., who I got from Angie's List (will rate them after they start on my lawn this season). He returned calls promptly, was quick to submit estimates, was very professional, courteous and performed the job he said he would, within estimate. He is very knowledgeable and will explain what he is doing and why. Also gives self-help advice for those who like to maintain their trees on their own.
Description of Work: Mike pruned & trimmed my 30-foot Thunder Cloud Plum exactly as we had discussed over the phone. He cleaned up all debris & carted it away.
