GREEN IS THE COLOR LAWN CARE

This is our second year with Scott and his staff I waited til this year to write this review, since I wanted to give them time to make their "mark". And they have!! It's been a while since our lawn has looked this good and I just want to commend Scott for making good on his promises. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

All the dandelions that were already springing up are gone and the lawn is already much greener and full. Scott suggested I do a core aeration and over-seed in the fall and included a good price for the work and this is something I definitely will do. If your looking for a company to take care of your lawn, give him a shot. I'm sure that you'll be pleased with the results Thanks Scott!

This spring, the lawn looks terrible. Worse than it ever did. I called Scott and left a message asking him to come over and take a look and tell us what to do next because it looked bad. He didn't return my call, so after a few days I called back and got him on the phone. He said, somewhat contemptuously, that it wouldn't do any good for him to come over, that he'd already walked around our property a few times in years past, that our lawn was just in bad shape and would never look good unless we got new turf. I asked him why he had then recommended and charged us for aeration and re-seeding and fertilization if it was a hopeless cause. He said that it would have looked even worse if we had done nothing. I feel strongly that he should have told us honestly that what he was doing wouldn't fix our problems rather than encouraging us to spend our money and then telling us later that it was pretty much useless. Needless to say, I would not recommend him to anyone.

So far so good--- Will know more after the season begings and we'll see what the lawn looks like then

My lawn was a mess before I hired Green is the Color. Since they began taking care of my lawn, I am proud to say that my lawn is the nicest looking lawn on my block. They are responsive, polite, prompt and reasonable. I have been using their services for 10 years, and would highly recommend them!

I am extremely happy with Green Is The Color Lawn Care. Scott, the owner is professional and always friendly. He is always on time with the applications and has made my lawn better than ever. He either picks up the phone when I call or returns my call promptly. I would never hire any one else.

Ver well. I have had Green is the color since 2013 and find Scott personable and work professional. Grass looks good and Green.

HOW DO YOU CALL YOURSELF A LAWN COMPANY WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO FOR LAWNS? IT TOOK ME A LOT OF MY OWN SEED with potting soil to cover to get it back to where it was. It seems that most L. I. "Lawn Companies" have no idea what they are doing = Emerald "Magic' was a real "slight of hand."

Scott first came to my property and walked me through what needed to be done to help with my lawn issues and what I could do to prevent in the future. He clearly laid it all out for me and came back another day to apply once I decided which treatments I wanted. He was very professional and explained why certain things should be done (and also areas where I could save money and not do anything at this time).

They did a great job explaining the problems and providing recommendation for services to remedy same. Very polite and affordable, I'm just started using them and so far so good!

We had been disappointed by another lawn-servicing outfit, so based on the reviews we decided to give Scott a try ... and we're very glad we did. The lawn hasn't looked this good since we moved in in 1995! Not only does the lawn look great, but his prices are more reasonable than the other outfit that didn't do a proper job.

Maintained my lawn. Seeding, weed killer etc.. Very well.

Our lawn hasn't looked this good since we were much younger and could take better care of it. We look forward to an even more beautiful lawn in the spring. Scott, the owner, is very professional and pleasant to work with. Yes, we will happily sign on with Green is the Color of Lawn Care in 2014.

I am going to use their services starting in the spring time. I called them and a fellow from the company gave me a very reasonable estimate. I am going to have them start in March. They do not cut the lawn but they fertilize and maintain the lawn at peak performance. I used another company and I was unhappy with them this season. I have had them for two seasons in a row and I figured that it was about time that I changed. I hope and think that they will do well because they are on the Angie's List webpage. The punctuality of the man who came out was also very good.

I adjusted an F grade on Angie's List after receiving a call.

I contacted him from Angie’s list as we were not happy with the contractor we had last year. He was not able to solve my lawn problem. Scott was succinct in his diagnosis of the problem and hopefully will solve the problem this year.

This company has been very responsive and has done a good job of improving our very difficult lawn. They came out immediately this year when we became concerned that the lawn was not doing well. They had warned us that it could take some time for things to turn around for us, but they have been attentive and done what they said they would do.

So far, everything is fine. He is still in process of repairing the lawn. Everything he said he would do he has done and his recommendations seem to be working.

Prompt, speedy service. Entire lawn was aerated and seeded.

The service could not be better. There is a marked difference in the quality of my lawn since I began using Green is the Color lawn service.

They do a very good job. They are also polite, and efficient. They are very good. It's difficult to say how good the service will actually be, because they just started. I'll be in a better position to judge at the end of the season.

Excellent. We had treatments over a 6 month period from April through September; Scott and his team showed up when they promised and all the work was very professionally done. We could see the difference in our lawn very quickly -- all the crab grass and ugly weeds were gone! Extra credit: In October, our front lawn was vandalized by some stupid kid on an ATV who decided to ride around in circles and cut up the turf. I called Scott, he came right over and sent his crew to repair the damage. Now the lawn looks great again!Definitely planning to hire Green is the Color again this year.
