It went excellently, Carl was able to match the existing brick and the extension looks like it was always there.

Their estimate was the 3rd I got, and a tad bit higher than the second. I chose this company because they could fit me into a timely schedule. When they explained how they would do the work, it was clear that the "great price" of the first estimate, was for doing a job that would not last. Carl and his Sons and crew were timely, and worked with us on every detail. We are ourselves designers, and very picky....so when the brick samples were shown to us and didn't quite see what we wanted, we were invited to go to his supplier and pick. They worked on laying the brick perfectly, which meant a few redo's as they were challenged with curves. In the end we have a beautiful walkway which will last forever, and will hire them again for the next project, no question. Very professional with an ear to hear the client.

I have used them for many projects. They are exceptional masons, designers, and more importantly, they are kind, honest and good people.

Job went exactly as outlined in contract. very nice people to work with. highly professional. everything was laid out in the contract & nothing was left to chance. they are always available either by phone or e-mail & return calls promptly. They arrived exactly when they said they would and did all of the work exactly as planned. couldn't have gone better. I hired them based on other reviews & I wouldn't hesitate to use them again & refer them to others.

Carl came to my house with his son and assessed my job. He told me that I really need to work with an excavation company because it would be much cheaper for me. He could have given me a price like the 3 other landscape design companies did but he acted in my best interest not his own. Very admirable, I will call him back to quote the hardscape phase of my job for sure, hard to find honest people that actually care these days.

Carl and his sons came out twice to estimate and then review. We scheduled the job and they completed it quickly and professionally. They had to reset 1 stone and replace another and that was done the following day. They were very neat and cleaned both our driveway and the neighbor's where dirt had made its way. Looks great.

Carl called me back the day after I left the message on his phone. He and his son, Carl, showed up the following day right on time. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. We discussed what we wanted and Carl made some suggestions that would, in his opinion, look better. I trusted his judgement and am happy that I did. That was on a Friday. That evening I received a detailed estimate by email. I called to tell Carl that I would like him to begin work as soon as possible. I was provided with a very complete and professionally done contract containing work to be done, breakdown of when payments were due, terms and conditions, a masonry guarantee and references. . The following Monday morning he and his crew arrived once again, right when he told me they would. His crew was professional and worked quickly. You could tell they really knew their trade. He finished the complete job in a little over three days. Every evening they left the area as clean as possible considering there was an ongoing project. Throughout the project Carl was not always on site, but was easily reached by cell phone. I am extremely happy with the way the project turned out! My front walkway is beautiful!

Look no further than Carl Bongiorno & Sons. I met with other contractors from Angie's List and got prices, but chose Carl after meeting with him and his son, and promptly receiving his proposal. I was not disappointed as Carl, his sons, and crew were professional and easy to work with. They did an excellent job. We plan on using them again for future work. Thank you Carl and Company.

Very responsive and professional company. I called their office and Carl Jr. answered the phone and made arrangements to come for an estimate that same day. He and Carl Sr. came, took a look around and my emailed estimate arrived later that afternoon. We made arrangements for the job to be completed sometime before the end of June but I got a surprise email the following morning that they had a break in their schedule and could be there within an hour. Their crew arrived right on time, everyone was friendly and they did an awesome job. They even looked around while they were there and fixed more sections that we didn't even discuss. I did believe the price was a little high but you really get what you pay for. I'm sure someone else would've done the job for less but I don't believe for a second I would've received the same level of service and quality of work. I'll definitely use them again should the need arise.

The walkway is beautiful. We are so very pleased with the service Carl and his crew provided. They were always on time, polite, and very professional. Carl patiently answered all our questions. We highly recommend them.

Working with Carl and his team was a pleasure to say the least. They were not only professional but more responsive than any other vendor I have ever dealt with and I am in the construction consulting industry. When Carl bid the project, he said he would be working 6 days a week starting at 6am. Not only did they never not show, but they even got to the site before 6 every day to mobilize and plan their work for the day. This was a very large project that involved multiple services and required a large crew that was extremely technical. Carl and his team were up to the task and I would happily recommend his team to anyone looking for a first rate contractor.

Carl Bongiorno and Sons did an outstanding job repairing my landscape following a major cesspool installation. A seed lawn was also planted and in less than a month looks amazing. Carl and his sons were responsive, professional and timely with all their work. After several weeks Bongiorno and Sons returned to add more seed to several 'bare spots' to insure a lush lawn would grow. I would highly recommend Carl Bongiorno and Sons to anyone.

Carl was friendly and professional he showed up when he said he would and the job was completed when he said it would be.

All went well and as expected. Everyone was professional, on time and up front. The sod quality was good, as well. Carl Sr. was patient with a few last minute requests after the job was finished when we thought we might want to sod over a few beds that were created. We'd hire again.

The Bongiorno crew did a beautiful job of removing a ton of ivy and some very sad, old rhodos and planted a privacy hedge of 6 foot Skip Laurels. They did a beautiful job and took the time to check with me about placement to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. When they were done planting, they mulched the area and it looks as if it's always been there! They even seeded where the lawn got a bit messed up. I found each and every one of the men a pleasure to deal with. Carl Bongiorno is a gentleman and a very good business man. He knows the value of listening to what a customer wants and delivering it. I would highly recommend this company.

The project took a week as described by Carl Sr. They were prompt every day, cleaned up, professional. Project went well and looked better than I had imagined.Carl continually updated me which was terrific. VERY happy with the work done!

I called Carl Bongiorno, a family owned company, and received a call back the same day. We set up an appointment where he could come and see my yard. Carl was punctual, very pleasant, and responsive to my needs. I had two small projects; one being a straightforward project of an approximate 6' x 6' paver pad. The other job required a little more creativeness. I had a rough idea what I wanted and Carl was able to envision and understand what I looking for and was able to design a very lovely focal point for my yard.Whenever I have any work done I always get at least three estimates. Carl Bongiorno was not the lowest, but was not the highest either. He came right in the middle. I chose Carl Bongiorno because of his past reviews, responsiveness to my needs, and quality workmanship . I was very pleased with my choice. To my surprise they were able to do the work on a few of our warmer winter days. They were always punctual, friendly, and professional. What a difference the paver pad is from what was there previously! And my new bluestone patio is a beautiful focal point to my garden. I only had one issue which Carl rectified immediately. Unfortunately, the weight of the truck caused a large crack in my 3-year old black topped driveway. I got an estimate for the repair and Carl deducted it from my bill. He also stated that if I had problems with the repair to call him. Unfortunate events are impossible to predict, but I was pleased with the way Carl handled it. I am so glad I chose Carl. He does high quality work, is professional and very pleasant to deal with. But,above all Carl Bongiorno has integrity, He is honest and reliable. I definitely would recommend him.

Cannot say enough positive things about Carl and his crew. Quality is superb, worksmanship is on a par with no one else. Crew is friendly, and they show up when they say they will and finish things when they say they will. When issues arise that need a decision - design or other - Carl always gives sound options and recommendations. If you are looking for someone to do work in this space I don't think you could find a better choice. Highly recommended.

The patio was originally laid down in June. There were drippings from when the pavers were cut and walked across the patio. We were told they would come off but they didn't. Since they did not come off Carl made sure that the patio was ripped up and laid back down with new stones at no cost to us. He also honored the request to not use the bobcat the second time so that we would not have to re-seed the yard again.

This company was very professional. Dan arrived quickly for our estimate and offered different options and ideas. After other estimates, we felt more comfortable with using Carl Bongiorno. Dan was very patient with me as I changed my mind a few times during the process! The end result is beautiful and the work is perfection. We are very pleased with the walkway and how professional all the workers were. We will definitely be using them for future projects next spring! Update as of 12/15/2014- our driveway is scheduled for complete rip-out and installation of pavers next week. Can't wait!!!

The job was done according to the contract with a start date and end date. They did beautiful work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The provider came for an estimate and 2 weeks go by without a quote. We were promised the next day or so. The person that came was very nice, but was evident that he was not too knowledgeable, and had not much input on ideas or design. I understand during the busy season, this stuff happens, but if they are too busy, they should not have wasted my time, or theirs. Even though I am unaware of this companies quality of work or value, I would still not recommend this company due to their lack of responsiveness and professionalism.
