Description of Work: They reinstalled existing bricks over a new concrete base on my front walk and constructed new steps. Also, they brought in fill and tamped it down to provide a raised platform for me to install a shed on in my backyard. I was extremely pleased with the way the entire project was handled, from their prompt response to my initial call to the final details, and would absolutely recommend them.

Carl has the unique ability to see what something could be and actually make in happen. Our backyard turned out beautiful. My Wife and I are extremely satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: We have used Carl Bongiorno and Sons a few times over the past 4 years for various jobs. The last job being the biggest . Carl installed a 3 ft. retaining wall, continued our patio, matching the existing pavers, built a fire pit and added a walk to the side of the house. We were always in contact with Carl at the end of each work day or the beginning of the next day to discuss the progress and what the next step would be. He was always willing to stop back at our house if we needed to make any changes or had any questions or concerns. His crew were always at the house by 7:30 AM and worked through the day. We felt confident that the men were knowledgeable with the work they were doing. The men were always courteous and respectful.

They started the job while my husband and I were away. When we came back, there was a very expensive specimen tree that was missing. They claimed to have disposed of it, but my neighbor said they saw them very carefully carting the tree away. We had a company maintaining our pool and no one from Carl Bongiorno & Sons contacted the pool company to let them know that they were there despite promising that they would contact the pool company. They ended up just throwing the construction material into the pool and tearing the liner. We stated early on that we always wanted at least one person on site who spoke English, but that was never the case in the 8 weeks they were here. The completely ripped out a valve box and half of a sprinkler system, which we had to replace because it would have cost more to reconnect everything. At the end of the project, they never finished the job, but instead of letting us know and asking for more money, they just quit and walked away. We also found that, even though our invoice stated that we would get a stacked blue-stone paver wall, he only build an industrial paver wall. The quality of the work he did finish was excellent, but the job and experience overall, was horrid.

I had an appointment with him and he called me to tell me he couldn't make it because he was stuck on a different job. We made an appointment for another day, but after waiting around for him and wasting my time, he never showed up.

CARL BONGIORNO LANDSCAPING IS A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK. I HAVE USED THEM FOR SEVERAL JOBS AND EVERYTHING THEY DO TURNS OUT BEAUTIFULLY. THEY HAVE VERY REPUTABLE WORKERS AND IF THERE IS EVER ANY PROBLEM, IT GETS TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY.
