I hired Freelance to replace my garage door. It is very difficult to find someone in their office, and they don't return calls most of the time. I showed them the door that I was looking for and they assured me that they knew which one I meant. After 2 delays that they did not call to tell me about, they installed the door. Midway through, I knew that it was not the right door. I did not speak up at that point and let the installation continue. At the end of the job, I paid in cash with a tip for the worker. I realized after they left that I had overpaid them (forgot about the $100 downpayment). I called to ask them for the overpayment, and they never returned my calls. They still have my $100.

As stated above , the failure to return my calls regarding repair of my garage door left me without any repair . in addition the Angies list rating was very misleading because this company has similar F ratings but the final rating is an A. I believe that Angieslist should change its rating system to more correctly indicate the real nature of a company's rating.

Came to the house to looked at the problem. Said will be back to replace the broken track the next Monday. Never did come back. Left messages on the answering service and no responsive. After about 2 weeks, we decided to look for someone else to fix this.

It went very well: calling on July 3 in the afternoon, I received a call back that same day with promising to call after July 4th holiday which he did. He came punctually as discussed on July 5 and was able to do the little work in no time.

The garage doors are not only great looking but were installed perfectly! Courteous and experienced workers did the job in a timely fashion. Gave a time when they would arrive, and they were there when they said they would be.. Was extremely well pleased! Would recommend to anyone!

On referral from 2 friends that used them for door and motor replacement, I wanted Freelance to just replace the motors on my old doors. They canceled appointments, showed up without proper parts, didn't return phone calls. Unreliable, unprofessional, didn't want the work ?? plenty of others to choose from.

They were quick and clean. The door works great now.

The gears in my overhead garage door opener wore out. The parts would have cost me about $200, plus my time and work. I priced having the unit replaced and got 4 quotes. I don't always take the lowest quote... I evaluate the professionalism of the installer and then decide. This was the lowest quote and also sounded as high quality as any of the others.

In fact, I will call and order a key pad from them right now and I do need a garage door opener for my other door (two door garage) and I will definitely call Freelance. Very impressed!

Freelance Garage Doors Inc. came very promptly and did good quality work. It was interesting to watch him and he displayed a vast knowledge of his profession. He definitely knew what he was doing. He was very professional and did a good quality job. The price was a little on the high side.

THEY DID A EXCELLENT JOB ON THE GARAGE DOORS. THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS WITH THE WORKMANSHIP OF THE INSTALLERS. THE DOORS LOOK VERY GOOD. THE MEN WERE FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS WHEN DOING THE JOB.
