I needed my gate repaired. It’s been difficult to get anyone to come and take a look, that is until Steven. He came by when I was not home and followed up with a phone call. He was very direct and honest and he was not sure he could match my gate and if he could, the cost might be too much. As we were talking, and I was explaining the issue, he came up with an idea. He said he would come back on Tuesday to see if it would work. He did come back on Tuesday as he said, applied brackets and I could not be happier. It was what was needed and hopefully it will hold up. Thank you Continental Fence and Steven for calling me back, following up, thinking outside the box, and charging a fair price. Will certainly call them again

The workers and Steve the owner are gentlemen. They repaired the damage that Joe's Complete Tree Service did to my property.

I called several companies in the area and the only one that called me back told me ‘Noone would do this job because it’s not worth the money or the bother” These larger , more publicized companies including Amendola’s who installed my fence wanted nothing to do with a repair and the last repair they did cost me crazy money AND they did a crappy job!....I looked at Angie’s List and found Continental Fence AND THE REVIEWS WERE GREAT and Steve ,the owner, called me back immediately. Everything from the initial contact to the job completion was excellent. Steve was punctual and gave me an estimate for a smaller job BUT he was willing to put in the time to do a smaller job and do it WELL! The workers were punctual, pleasant and did a GREAT job, I was VeRY happy with the service. Steve called me after the job was completed to make sure I was satisfied and THAT is a sign that he cares about his customers and cares that they are happy with the service they received. I would recommend Continental Fence to everyone! This guy cares about his business and wants his customers to be happy, he excelled at both! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We were very happy with the entire process with Continental, from the initial phone call, to the estimate, during the actual work, and the completion. The owner, Steve, is always around and available to answer questions or concerns. The fence looks great!

Steve is fantastic. Over the last few years he's come to my house 3 times to estimate different things for me. Even though I didn't move forward with the first two jobs (because of me, not him), he estimated the third job without complaint, and even though it was not a big job, did it promptly and perfectly. He's one of the nicest contractors I've ever worked with. Wait, no scratch that, he IS the nicest I've ever worked with!

The crew arrived on time and did a great job. I'm very happy with the look of the new railings and would definitely hire them again.

They are so professional. I am 72 with Multiple Sclerosis and have a dog, I could not walk him. They provided us with wire to cover the area where the gates were to be out until the posts would be able to support the fence. I have used many service companies over my many years and I would highly recommend them. We are going to have them again for another fencing project.

From beginning to end everything went smoothly. The appointment for the estimate was easily set, and the actual job was completed within a couple weeks. The whole job took the workers only half a day, they left no mess behind. The fence came out straight and level.

Price quote was very fair. Steve was professional, timely and easy to communicate with at every step. He remained in contact throughout the job, which was extended due to complications on my end. Steve was very patient and flexible despite this, a sign of true professionalism and honesty. Quality of work, completion and clean-up was all excellent. They used our neighbor's driveway as their "home base" as it is a difficult area to get to from our driveway. The crew arrived on time and immediately began working. They were quiet and very respectful of our neighbor's property. We had wanted the fence positioned a little higher on the metal rails (already in place from old fence which they removed and carted away) to keep the bottom from touching the dirt from the neighbor's yard. They had to do a little soil readjustment to make that happen, but they were most careful! The owner, Steve, came for a time to check on his crew and to speak with me. All very professional and we were very pleased with every aspect of the job. We have more fencing to install and we will definitely be using Continental Fence!

I called to get an estimate of some fencing I needed installed. I left a message. Someone from the company called me back and asked how big of a job I needed. I said about 50-70 feet. He said that since I'm in Nassau County and they're out east in Suffolk it would not be worth their while to come so far for a small job and I'd be better off finding someone local. I appreciate him not wasting my time.

Everything went well and when I had a problem with one of the gates a few weeks later, someone came and fixed it the day I called. I didn't get any other estimates so, although I thought the price was a bit high, it may not have been. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the amount of warping of the cedar.

The person from Continental Fence was very professional and punctual. They came to the house for the first measurement and estimate, at the time they stated. A week before the install they came and remeasured and doubled checked the work that was to be done. On the day of the install they arrived on time, the installers were professional and curtious. The estimated price was exact price for all work done. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.

They're great, they were here when they said they're gonna be here, they were good on timing. He gave us an estimate right away and we were satisfied with the fence. They were great, They also repaired some broken gates which other companies wanted to replace.They're liable, they're local, they're honest and they did good work.
