+ -1 moreLast year my awning broke because of a storm and after many phone calls he finally came and fixed it. This year, the thing that he replaced spontaneously broke but I couldn’t get him to answer any of my phone calls. He isn’t reliable.
Description of Work: Seaman’s Awnings installed an awning for me two years ago.

+ -1 moreOne broken install date after another. After about 15 different dates, we requested that John Seaman, president of Seaman Awnings just deliver the awning to our house and we would get it installed. John Seaman never did this either. We found out after the fact that he took our deposit and never ordered the awning from Nu Image Awnings. By the way, even after we told Nu-Image what happened, as of 1/2/11, Seaman Awnings is still listed as an authorized dealer on the Nu Imagae Awnings web site.
Description of Work: On 9/12/10 signed a contract with John Seaman President of Sesaman's Awnings, East Meadow, NY to install a retractable awning. He was referred to us by the Nu Image Awning website on 9/10/10. A deposit of $1,450.00 was given and as of 1/1/11 we do not have an awning. We have since found out John Seaman of Seaman's Awnings never ordered our awning. When we requested a refund he said OK and came to our house and gave us a bogus check for $1,450.00 on an account that has no money in it. After the fact we also found out Seaman Awnings has many AKA's so don't get fooled like we did. Please also note this guy also claims to be an authorized dealer of Sunsetter Awnings as well.
