Description of Work: Up graded electric panel to 200 amps and installed a 16 kv emergency generator with a whole house transfer switch. The installation went well and the job was very neat. We have had 3 power failures since the installation. I am very pleased with this company and would use them again.

Kevin was our electrician - in the words of my husband, the man is a genius. He really thinks about where he is going to put something in and how he is going to do it to minimize the amount of holes he has to cut into your walls/ceiling. In one room, you can't even tell how he did his work (no holes!) - in our living room (where there was no existing electric) - he only had to make two small holes. Friendly and professional. I appreciated his hard work. We will definitely use Warning Electric for our future electrical work.
Description of Work: Ran electric for two ceiling fans (one on each floor of the house, where there was not currently electric), ran a line for a TV outlet to our living room, installed another GFI outlet in our living room.

Scott Warning came to our house and prepared the estimate for us. His price was significantly lower than others we received. We had to wait several weeks for the electricians to come and perform the work, but we agreed to this delay in order to allow Warning to schedule other trenching work in our area ... this helped to lower the price. The electricians did a good job and adequately explained everything they did.
Description of Work: Replacement of faulty 120V power line from the house to a septic pump. They dug a ~75' trench from the house to the pump, installed new conduit in the trench, and ran a new 120V line to the pump, plus a low voltage line to the pump alarm. They installed a new breaker in the panel and a new riser (with an outlet) in the lawn. Finally, they connected the pump to the outlet.

took a month for the estimate, took another month to schedule, then they didn't schedule the correct number of days or send the correct number of workers and would not reschule to complete the work.
Description of Work: Worst company ever. They can't scheudle a 2 day job, the owner just double talks and cannot order the correct items in the correct color. They lack complete professionalism, they showed up at 9 left at 3, leaving more than half of the work not done. Couldn't figure out how to install ceiling fans and asked questions for every wire. I called them numerous times to schedule the work and they wouldn't schedule. Scott Warning is completely unprofessional, and does not know how to run a business. DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Response from Warning Electrical Services
I am disappointed that the member has chosen to file a report in this fashion. This apparently is out of character for the member. My secretary had numerous telephone conversations with the member between October and December having to do with special order items, scheduling, additional work, etc. and he was nothing but a gentleman. However, when there was a scheduling problem, as set forth below, he lost his control and became unreasonable, abusive, threatening and even used the “f” word in speaking with my secretary. When I left a message for the member to speak with me directly, he returned my call, leaving a message on my cell phone which is replete with profanity, threats, etc. I am making arrangements to have a transcript of that telephone call created in order to substantiate the member bizarre, erratic and belligerent behavior. Obviously, his threats make it impossible for me to subject my employees to such offensive and possibly dangerous actions by the member. I cannot understand how the member can be so unreasonable, unless this is a technique he uses to avoid paying a bill. I note that he stopped payment on the $500.00 deposit and now owes for labor provided as well as special order items. The following is a brief chronology of the efforts involved in this contract. • I met the member on October 27th and discussed his fairly large electrical project. • I forwarded a detailed estimate on November 8th [after securing a price for his special order items from my supplier]. • I received the signed estimate and a $500.00 deposit from the member on November 16th and opened a work order; holding his deposit check [which he has cancelled]. • Special order items were ordered on November 16th and received in my office several weeks later. NOTE: the member was aware that these items would take 2-3 weeks to be delivered from our supplier. • My secretary contacted the member and scheduled work to begin December 16th. She explained that if the weather was bad, we would start with inside work. Outdoor items could only be completed as weather permitted. • The member called to add additional work to his work order and discuss LED lamp options. • My (2) electricians arrived December 16th at 8:45am [due to our 8:00am start time + travel time to North Collins]. Our electricians worked until 3:45pm [as our ending time is 4:00pm]. They elected to stay a bit overtime in order to finish the item they were working on. Our electricians are allotted a 30minute lunch break, which they took with the member [at his request, as he graciously provided lunch]. • A return date was set for December 21st, provided the weather cooperated, as we had quite of bit of outdoor work to complete. • I cancelled our appointment December 21st due to excessive rain. I told him I would see if our schedule would allow a December 22nd return date. I explained that I did not have the office schedule book in front of me and that I would call him later in the afternoon to confirm. • My secretary left a message with the member in the afternoon of December 21st apologizing for the inconvenience, but the 22nd was already booked out and we would not be able to return on December 22nd. She asked the member to return the call, at his convenience, to reschedule our return trip. • The member immediately called back and was belligerent and vulgar toward my secretary. She offered to reschedule but the member would not agree. He insisted that we come on the 22nd. • I contacted the member later that day and left a message that I could not tolerate his abusive behavior toward my employees and that he should speak directly with me regarding his remaining work. • December 22nd the member left a message on my phone filled with profanity and threatened be bodily harm, stating he was going to come to my office/home to confront me. • At this point, I waited for his arrival [which did not happen] and decided to file a police report so his abusive/threatening behavior was documented. The above information makes it apparent that it is impossible to continue working for the member, especially given the fact that he has stopped payment on his deposit. The member's actions display a lack of understanding of the nature of this kind of work. In order to stay in business, it is necessary for contractors, such as myself, to schedule work for various customers in such a way that we will be able to complete the work as soon as possible. In this instance, we were unable to return to his property for reasons out of our control, i.e., weather. The next day we were unavailable because of work that had been scheduled. It certainly was not done intentionally but simply reflected the nature of the business. Scott Warning, Owner, Warning Electrical Services, Inc.

We spent about $3000 on that service. There was probably not much to say, so it was a good thing, other than that they were there and were quick. Everything was done as promised and the quote came in right as they had anticipated. It is an older house, so there were some questions especially with the wiring to the television and what was going to be involved and pretty much dead on. They were in and out quickly and everyone was courteous, clean and out of there.
Description of Work: We used Warning Electrical Services in midsummer and they put in a new panel, a new service, upgraded our service, and ran lines over to a fireplace for a large flat screen TV.

The company did come and complete the service to my satisfaction. The estimate was around $800, and the actual bill was even less since the wiring went well and wasn't as complex as it could have been. They are a local company and not a national franchise. My experience has been good with them, and I am planning on using them again for another small project.
Description of Work: Warning Electrical Services gave me an estimate to update some ungrounded outlets that we have because it is an older house and to install new outlets, light fixtures and other electrical work.

We took out existing kitchen windows and put in patio doors, which were much bigger, so the existing outside electrical lines had to be moved to get the door to fit. A LOT of work involved, some of which was unknown until the wall was opened. Warning was the only company who responded promptly and actually gave us an estimate. The other companies we contacted obviously either didn't want to tackle the job or couldn't. Scott Warning did the estimate and gave us a knowledgeable and honest assessment of the work involved and what might also be included. He explained our options and told us how long it would take and the price of both options. They also answered any questions I had leading up to and during the work whenever I called. The work was completed very successfully and right on with the estimate. We were very impressed that they were able to work around and WITH the AC workers, the plumber, and the door installers at the same time. Kevin, one of the electricians, who did most of the inside work, did a great job and made a stressful project for us go much smoother. My wife and I were very pleased with the results and definitely would use Warning again and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Relocated outside conduit, switch box, phone line. Trenching, cable, new 200 amp line and meter socket. Installed new 42 circuit breaker box, transferred lines, labled. Updated grounding to code, inspection.

The price for the service was included in the total amount that we paid the general contractor for the entire project. I was pleased though with the service of this company. They really did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend them to other people. They were safe in all aspects of the work, made great decisions, and did good work overall.
