Jeannine and her staff NO call - NO showed on a pre-set date. Did not return multiple phone calls over the course of some time. In the meantime, these people had our home alarm system security code AND a back up set of house keys in their possession. Concerning to say the least, while we wondered where they were for weeks, and why they were not responding. Jeannine finally returned an email (in a condescending tone). Service had been terminated without notice. The for not showing up, not contacting us for weeks, and not returning phone calls, was the owner having a medical issue that sounded like it would have only interfered with business dealings for 1-2 days max. Furthermore I'm sure someone other than the owner could have addressed these things, but just did not. I run a business out of one of the bedrooms, and that compounded with being in a very hectic period in our lives, makes for a somewhat untidy presentation. Admittedly, not the easiest place to clean. I get it - there are rules that the house already needs to be pre-cleaned a bit before the cleaning service arrives. Terminate service or raise your fees if you want, but the following are unacceptable: 1. no call - no show 2. not returning several phone calls 3. lack of response, all the while being in possession of our home alarm system security code AND a back up set of house keys 4. taking photos of my business inventory and office and emailing them to our parents/in-laws (owners of the house, with whom with live) - content that is potentially confidential, and regardless, a TOTAL invasion of privacy All of this is unacceptable, unprofessional, and to repeat what I said before - borderline sketchy behavior.
Description of Work: Totally unprofessional - culminating in borderline sketchy behavior. UPDATE to address company's response: Thank you Jeannine for the borderline libelous response, and for showcasing your unprofessionalism. First of all, wife, not girlfriend. :) Second, the converted bus is an expensive converted RV with an upscale interior, which we drive around in, and use to recreate on our vacations. It’s awesome. I’m sorry you are obviously trying to paint the image of us as being trailer trash, which is unfortunate, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with living in a trailer anyhow. Shame on you for implying so. Third, if you hadn’t already gathered from the second point, we live in the house, not the RV. Fourth, we are professionals. Medical professionals actually, who finished college a long long time ago (twice a piece, actually), and then made a choice to enter into a 3-year doctoral degree granting program later in life. We gave up great salaries and a fulfilling professional life so that we could further our education and expand our scopes of practice. Fifth, ah yes, we are spoiled :) We are so very fortunate to have loving and amazing parents who saw our financial need during these years, and allowed us to live in their home. We love them back, so much. I’m sorry you see this as a negative thing, and am frankly infuriated you would attempt to devalue our relationship with them in a such a way. Sixth, my business is a clothing resale business. I buy clothing online, restore it, and then resell it. I suppose your guess that I went on an amazon shopping spree is understandable, given that you don’t know any better, but now you know. Yes, there are boxes and shipping supplies everywhere in that bedroom. Contained within that room, actually. Yes, it looks like a freakin tornado threw my shipping supplies and inventory everywhere. I’m a busy person who barely manages to balance my business on top of my being a full time student, PLUS being in clinical for 40 hours a week. Where is the time? I don't know :) It’s organized chaos and it makes sense to me, and it’s beautiful. I don’t care what you think of it, and whether it makes sense to you, or what it looks like to you. It’s profitable, very much so actually, and it's so much fun to do. And yes, I run the business out of the spare bedroom of my HUSBAND’s parents home, whom we live with thanks to their loving generosity. Seventh, I’m a student in the health care field. There actually IS confidential medical information in the house, in both of our offices, and HIPAA laws are actually a real thing. It was inappropriate of you to take photos. Low blows all around Jeannine.. very low blows. Between attempting to paint us as some sort of trash while conjuring imagery that is discriminatory to other socioeconomic walks of life in an attempt to do so (TOTALLY inappropriate), attempting to use my name in your response (yet another show of your blatant disregard for your clients’ privacy), and then throwing around completely false, aggrandized assumptions about who I am, what I do, and my what my life is… I think your retaliatory response speak for itself. Actually, your nasty responses to all of your unhappy clients collectively speak for themselves. It is very very obvious that I am not your first very negative review - neither on Angie’s List nor another prominent non-subscription review site. Your poor reviews on both venues corroborate my accounts of your unprofessionalism.
