everything was done as asked. Always was kept informed as to what was going to be done and if I had any questions. Eric made suggestions of better ideas for the kitchen as for lightning and tile which made my kitchen look even better than I could imagine. The office is wonderful with new cabinets. Breakfast room with new window is so much brighter, new drywall and paint. Dining room is totally beautiful. The new flooring has everyone who visit love it. We are more than pleased with the quality of workmanship done and the professionalism of Eric and his help. Every day things were cleaned up before leaving for the day. Big plus to me.

Eric is a true professional who knows his craft. He knew exactly what we wanted and built that beautiful addition. Even the building inspector commented that "Eric knows his stuff". We are very happy with his attention to detail and the high quality of his work. We highly recommend him for your next project. Five stars out of five.

Coming up with a very creative solution for repair and restoration of deteriorated siding and sill beam surrounding the perimeter of a very old and historic church. Did an excellent job with superior workmanship to maintain the character and appearance. His design construction also helped deflect rain and moisture away from the building to prevent future deterioration and preserve for another century or two.

Wonderful. Eric was very meticulous, thorough, and responsible. The entire kitchen was gutted. It is amazing what you discover when you have a blank slate. We had black mold behind the dishwasher , trails for the mice to get in behind the sink. It was a mess. Eric made sure it was all done right and up to code, which you don't realize how many code changes there are in 20 years, which is how long in was the last time we did something to the kitchen..We were away for 3 weeks while he took charge of all the other contractors. His partner Jason is also very good. You can trust the two of them to do a fantastic job. We are very happy!!

Eric's estimate was thorough and incorporated pricing alternatives for options in the work that we discussed during his initial walkthrough. He was very customer-focused and helpful with suggestions. His work was organized, prompt and completely addressed what needed to be done with an outstanding level of craftsmanship. He responded immediately to report of a condition that had not been apparent during a final review of the work. Eric is a craftsman. He knows the materials and the techniques to do the job the way it should be done to more than satisfy the customer. That's my story and I'll be sticking to it!

Project went well. Eric is very detail oriented. He provides detailed quotes which explictly list all work to be done. If unexpected things pop up, Eric will create an additional work order with the costs and job details spelled out. You will not have issues with Eric regarding what was said or implied during the estimating and planning process. Very clean operation using floor masking and dust/dirt control measures. Cleans up every night before leaves. We only had 2-3 nights where the toilet in the remodel room wasn't available. Always reviews any small changes and/or fixture placements before undertaking them. Eric and his crew are personable, which is an important consideration when you will have someone basically living with you for 4-5 weeks. Always on time. Well organized. We have used Diebolt Woodworks for two other projects in which we were very pleased. We highly recommend Diebolt Woodworks.

It went great!! I was able to help a wee bit and learned a lot and the end result was so much better than the original plan with the other guy. Eric really knows what he’s doing and just gets the job done.
Description of Work: It was a very tricky job that someone else had started involving deck repair and rotted wood. Eric came up with a great plan of action and saved the day!!

It went vvery Well. Eric visited and assed the work to be done. I had the aluminum material (from when the house was built) and he took it to his shop to form the piece needed.

The work Eric did was excellent. The cedar clapboard siding was installed beautifully, with attention to detail. The windows are great, and the porch came out beautifully, with nice finishing touches such as giving the porch-posts a slightly raised base, to prevent them from sitting in contact with moisture, and straightening out the old fascia, to prevent it from looking like it's sagging. Needless to say, we're very pleased with the outcome.
Description of Work: We have an old farmhouse. We were having a new basement poured under it, as well as upgrading the electricity, plumbing, heating system, windows, siding, and rebuilding the front porch. We hired Eric to take on the windows, siding, and porch, and he was also able to help us prepare the house for the new foundation, by replacing and repairing bad sills before the house went back down on its new foundation. Eric was a godsend because there were so many different aspects to the project, it was a bit overwhelming, and he helped us to keep it under control, advising when needed.

Any advice you can give us would be appreciated on our situation with Eric Diebolt. If not, just make a note of it if not already that he?s not a nice guy and mediocre at best except for his woodworking abilities which are pretty good. Long story short, Eric was not very nice to most of you directly or at your employees at our house. All of us living here saw it but didn?t want to get in the middle of his attitude. He was always pleasant to us and always answered my phone calls for status updates or issue resolution. Things started going downhill when Eric stained our floor and tried to match it. Before I could approve it (or say it didn?t match the rest of our floor) he put a urethane coat on it. After hearing that Jason (Works for Eric) even said that it looked bad I confronted Eric and told him to just leave it alone and I would fix it myself. I didn?t want to make it worse by having him keep trying. I told him not to beat himself up that staining and finishing is just not his forte?. He never recovered from this situation. When almost all of the work that was contracted was done he was finished. I was waiting for a spice rack and hardware for the island to come in so Eric said he would finish installing that and move our double oven over a 1/16? when it all arrived. I paid him his final check the last week of January.. For Ferguson?s sake, I paid him $12,750 for the entire project on time and in full. Mid-February, the spice rack and hardware came in. I called Eric. He called back a week later and said he had decided he was not going to finish anything and added a few very unpleasant comments about everything including the fact that I didn?t let him pick all of the contractors for the job. Very unpleasant comments about Buffalo Granite, Warning Electric and Precision Flooring especially. I told him we were stuck with an unfinished kitchen and asked him to put his feelings aside and finish the job. He said to call him after Easter and he would give me one day to get it done. After no returned calls I finally got him to answer my call. He said ?I am not coming back, don?t care about your project any longer?. I asked him if he knew a contractor to help with the few leftover items, he said ?No, I don?t care about that?. Any way I can put this information out in the public would be great so other customers don?t have to run into this would be great. If not, at least I know all of you know about it. If you know of anyone that can help me move the double ovens over I think I can figure out how to install the hardware on our beautiful island. Not sure about the spice rack but I will figure it out. 7868 Ellicott Road West Falls, NY Thanks, Matt Gudorf President, Chief Managing Officer Office: 716-260-1695 Cell: 716-545-7950

Response from Diebolt Woodworks
This review has just been brought to my attention. I read it as a false report maliciously uttered with intent to injure the reputation of another. First, concerning this review for "Ceramic Tile", I'd like to make it clear that I have never installed tile for this client nor did I see Tom, of Precision Flooring, or any of his employees installing tile. Please find my responses below each of the quotes from this client's review. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "...just make a note of it if not already that he's not a nice guy and mediocre at best except for his woodworking abilities which are pretty good. " My response: I have lived in this area all of my life. I have been in the trades for 45 years. My longevity speaks for itself. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "Eric was not very nice to most of you directly or at your employees at our house." "...added a few very unpleasant comments about everything including the fact that I didn't let him pick all of the contractors for the job. Very unpleasant comments about Buffalo Granite, Warning Electric and Precision Flooring especially." My response: First, I do not object to owners' hiring their own electricians, tile setters, etc. I have worked along side multiple trades and would never disparage others. The guys, Tony & Jason, of Buffalo Granite did a great job for the [Member Name Removed]'s. I have known Scott Warning professionally for many years. He is an asset to this area. I have met Tom, of Precision Flooring, on two occasions for consultations and have found him to be quite agreeable. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "He was always pleasant to us and always answered my phone calls for status updates or issue resolution." Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "Things started going downhill when Eric stained our floor and tried to match it. Before I could approve it (or say it didn't match the rest of our floor) he put a urethane coat on it." My response: When asked for stain approval, Mrs. [Member Name Removed], responded, "I don't know if you could get any closer than that." My mistake was not having her initial the stain sample before continuing. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "After hearing that Jason (Works for Eric) even said that it looked bad I confronted Eric and told him to just leave it alone and I would fix it myself. I didn't want to make it worse by having him keep trying. I told him not to beat himself up that staining and finishing is just not his forte." My response: This conversation with Mr. [Member Name Removed] never occurred with Jason nor myself. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "He never recovered from this situation. When almost all of the work that was contracted was done he was finished. I was waiting for a spice rack and hardware for the island to come in so Eric said he would finish installing that and move our double oven over a 1/16" when it all arrived. I paid him his final check the last week of January.. For Ferguson's sake, I paid him $12,750 for the entire project on time and in full." My response: To start, no "recovery" was ever required. Our agreement was honored. When ALL the work was completed Mr. [Member Name Removed] paid me the full amount, as our contract agreement. No work under the contract was left incomplete. Never were the tasks in question ever included in the agreement. No contractual mention of double oven, spice rack, hardware to be installed, no additional work authorizations. After being paid in full for contractional work, I was asked to return and perform the work of moving double oven, modifying existing cabinet, installing spice rack and install hardware, which due to clients' indecisiveness, was never included in our agreement. I was expected to do this as a courtesy, at my expense. Mr. [Member Name Removed]: "...don't care about your project any longer". I asked him if he knew a contractor to help with the few leftover items, he said "No, I don't care about that". My response: These are not my words. I would never tell anyone that I did not care about their project/home. Though, I could not, in good conscious, refer another contractor to this client. My final response: This appears as a malicious attempt to deliberately injure my reputation by a client who is unacustomed to hearing "no". The effort of a complete and comprehensive proposal with payment schedule and outlined format of the scope of work defines our relationship. Never were the tasks in question ever included in the agreement. Eric Diebolt Diebolt Woodworks

I've used Eric since 1999. He is a genius problem solver. Everything is always done perfectly and on time. I can't say enough good things about him. He has fixed my two of my porches, saved my basement from flooding, fixed my beloved Italian pantry, built a pool house, built a ramp, put in a walk in bathtub, rebuilt my Florida room, etc. etc.
