Everything went very well. The drawings Robert provided were approved by the building department right away and the contractor said they were very accurate to build from.

We decided to explore the idea of adding a covering to our deck this year, and consulted with Robert Szudzik as to what options we would have. He was honest and upfront in noting that our best option would be to remove the deck to allow for better space and clearance. We did just that, and had a concrete pad poured in its place, which gave us a larger template to work with. Given the recent events, many contractors were not available, so we decided to work on this build ourselves. Having some technical background but not as a GC, Robert's drawings helped us greatly in obtaining the necessary town permits, composing a materials list & building the structure to code. He was available to discuss questions as they came up, and offered helpful solutions when we ran into potential roadblocks. I'd highly recommend Robert Szudzik for residential or commercial projects.

The project we did with Robert went great. When my wife and I decided to sell our house by owner we needed drawings that would show the layout of our property. We figured that during this pandemic most people looking for a house would benefit from understanding the layout visually and thus limit unnecessary amounts of physical visits. Robert and I had a few great phone conversations and I provided old drawings I had of the house that were done by hand. Within a week Robert provided us amazing clean and simple computer based drawings detailing the overall layout of the property. Our home has an in-law suite. We asked for his advice on remodeling and updating the layout which he did and reflected the changes on the drawings. He offered great advice and excellent design services. All the improvements led to an increase in property value and as a result we were able to sell for more. We will definitely work with Robert again.

We found and hired Robert through a close friend who spoke highly of his work. We hired him to help us to expand our deck and get it approved by the town. We wanted a larger deck (20 yr. old) that would extend out farther to capture and layout in the sun. He was quick to respond and very thorough. The drawings he produced were beautiful! They presented a great picture of exactly what we wanted. His cost estimate turned out to be inline with current contractor rates. My husband and I highly recommend Robert’s services!!
