The Company was able to come over and install the opener without anyone having to be home. They came at the date and time promised and left the work area as they found it. I highly recommend Buffalo Overhead for all of your garage door and garage door opener needs.

My 10' x 10' garage/barn door cable broke, sending the spring across the barn and slamming the door down. I called them, and explained the issue, and requested a quote on an automatic door opener. They were close to the time they estimated, but the repair was poorly done and I did not receive an estimate. The door is now more difficult to open, and closes too fast for me to control very easily. They left pieces of the cable wire in my garage and on the lawn, some of them about 6 ft. long. I keep birds in the barn and this may have caused an injury to them with the pieces of cable on the floor. The cable and connector on the lawn could have caused damage to the lawn mower. I called again, and they came out to look at the work the day before I had scheduled. I was not at home, as I have a job, and my husband wasn't sure about the issues. They told my husband that the springs were not big enough for the size door, however, when I finally got to talk to someone, I was not told that. He said everything was working fine, but I still have a hard time opening and closing it. When I told him about the wire laying around the barn/garage and yard, he said that the repairman must have dropped it accidentally on his way back to the truck, because if they can't find a garbage can, they take the scrap with them. The cable was in the other direction from where repairman would have been walking, and there are several garbage cans in and around that he did put some of it in. I was finally told that an automatic opener would not be able to be installed due to the wild birds that tend to nest in the barn/garage. When I can afford it, I will have to have someone who knows how to repair garage doors out for another estimat

Buffalo Overhead did a pretty good job. However, they took a long time to respond to my phone calls. When they were here, they worked hard. I'd use them again.
