Description of Work: Had wasps entering the house. Tech inspected the house and observed many live and dead wasps inside and out. Suggested spraying house, to which, we agreed.

 + -1 moreWe have been doing work with them for a long time. I got them based on a personal recommendation from somebody. They are very responsive. They were here when they said they were going to be here and did what they said they were going to do. They had to redo it last year, which shouldn't happen, but it did. They did what they were supposed to do. I would not jump up and down for it but we did not have any hassles with it.
Description of Work: We use Comfort Pest Control. They also go by Amherst Exterminating. They were last here to spray around the house, primarily for ants.

Description of Work: Professional, efficient. I was pleased. However, links from Angie's List did not effortlessly identify this company, and even though the owner told me there was a coupon at Angie's I didn't find it. These are minor website problems, however. I was very pleased with the company.

 + -1 moreThis company was right on the ball. I called and they came the very next day. The technician was very polite and helpful and spent a lot of time trying to find any nests. What he did find were the remnants of one that had apparently been dug up by an I had to pay a service charge, but it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this company and will call them again should the need arise.
Description of Work: I called re: a bee issue. They came the very next day and I showed them where I thought the nest was. Not a bee in sight!!

Description of Work: After calling various companies, big and small, I came across Comfort Pest Control. I had a carpenter ant and spider problem. The woman who took my call and explained their pricing and process was professional, personable and did not rush me. I scheduled a date and time with her and was pleased that they were willing to work with me in order to get me scheduled sooner than later. They emailed me the technicians photo and employee badge number so that I could identify him. The technician Dan, who came out was wonderful , knowledgeable and was so patient with my endless questions and scenarios I presented to him. He did not rush, and explained the products he used and I truly felt he went the extra mile. They emailed me all of the chemical labels that they used. I truly felt they were wonderful. My experience start to finish was great. They were upfront about pricing and if additional treatments were needed. Everything they said would happen post treatment of my carpenter ants and spiders was correct as far as time frame of no longer seeing them or traces of them. I will be calling them for a scheduled maintenance plan, and they did not push anything on me.

 + -1 moreWe have a home on a lake and needed a fall and spring bug spray. We are not always at the home, so must conduct all of our business with Comfort Pest remotely. I always get a phone call prior to a treatment to verify the windows are closed and no one is at home. Billing has been extremely easy and conducted remotely. The results have been very good. While you will always have some bugs on the lakeshore, we have seen a drastic reduction.
Description of Work: Sprayed for spiders, carpenter bees, and general lake bugs on our house and shed.

 + -1 moreThe worker did a good job. He spayed the proper areas and the bees or hornets did not return. Bees and hornets look alike so I am not sure which they were. There was a meter below where the worker sprayed and powder had dropped on top of the meter but I just sprayed it off with a hose. Still I think clean up should have included that but I guess the worker was behind schedule. Apparently the person the phone person scheduled with was no longer with the company and she was unaware of it when she did the scheduling so the other workers had to pick up the orders scheduled for that guy which caused a slight delay in the worker arriving but not too long. It was worth the wait since the problem was taken care of in one visit.
Description of Work: Killed hornets or bees that were going in a hole under the awning.

 + -1 moreThe exterminator arrived right on time, was very personable and immediately went to work. He removed a large bee's nest in a tree and killed another nest that was in the siding of our house by placing powder in it. Everything took less than 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend!

She also discussed preventative maintenance I could perform to reduce pest problems (wood piles, kindling, etc.) I will retain their services for future jobs.

 + -1 moreThe company was quick to return any calls I made. (I made my call during lunch time hours, but was called back within a 30 minute timeframe. The technician Mike, came and was on time. He seemed to really know the technical side of his job and was reassuring to us. He applied injections to the affected area, and put bait down. He said I may see some ants for a short time. I didnt, but a few weeks later, I was seeing them further down from where they were entering before. When I called the office, they came within two days. He came again and this time went for the new entry point and applied some kind of "gas" with a generator. No ants were ever seen again. The technician seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. What I liked about the company is that they are insured, and that they will warrant the work til the end of the year. It gave us tremendous peace of mind to know that with our intial cost, that the problem would be taken care of. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others. If the problem recurs next year, it will definitely be worth it to me to go through the process again.
Description of Work: Treatment for Carpenter Ants with injection, baiting and residuals. Came with a Seasonal Warranty ending at the end of the current year. A second application needed for ants because they moved to a different entryway.
