When I called, the reception person was very positive about the company. She said, "Oh, you will like our service"-like that was the standard response. I spoke to a different scheduler later and she felt the same way. The employees were proud of the company. The repair person came out repaired the furnace in a competent fashion. They all had pride in their work and backed it up with good performance. I felt very fortunate to have discovered them.

The sales representative and 2 professionals kept me appraised as they were performing the work. They were very clean and careful. They provided me with several tips for the future. The dryer venting was an add on to the service and they kept me appraised of the time and additional cost. I was very pleased.

We were very pleased with the service from Mohawk Heating. The were on time, knowledgeable, courteous, neat and fairly priced. We would definately recommend them and will use them for any future HVAC/duct work projects.

Very good experience. Sales manager was very responsive. Technicians were even better. Very courteous, thorough, protected the carpets, stairs, etc. Cleaned up and removed old equipment and trash. System works great, would recommend this company especially for large jobs.

It went very well. Cleaned oil furnace and oil hot water heater. Replaced thermostat, nozzles, filter and strainers. Cleaned and checked automatic controls. Inspected flu.

The salesman/coordinator makes an appointment to show the options and gives an estimate. When you call to accept, he comes again to go over the whole process, sign a contract and set up a date/timeline for the installation. The duct cleaning was done first while preparations for the furnace were done and the cold air returns were started. The old furnace was removed, the new one installed and the cold air returns completed the next day. There was a problem with the duct cleaning and they had to come back a couple weeks later to take care of it. They did damage the dry wall when installing one of the cold air returns, which I didn't notice until about a week later (it was in the stairway, not the room the return was in). At that point I decided to have my nephew fix it rather than call Mohawk Heating. It was appreciated that they also did some small things (ex:repurposing an old window screen in cold air return to catch debris) which they had no obligation to do. Mohawk Heating also installed a central air unit a couple years earlier, which also went well and the price was competitive. I highly recommend Mohawk Heating

Very professional and thorough. It was easy to get the information we needed before scheduling an appointment and the work was done efficiently and in a professional manner. The workers showed up on time and completed the cleaning as promised.

They started with doing my work five years ago. Currently I have had a major problem with my water heating system and I had to get them to replace it. They are excellent.

Mohawk H. responded promptly to my request for an estimate for a new water heater. Information provided during the discussion of options was useful, although the estimator did not know all details of their offerings that I was interested in. After researching the offerings of two other vendors I selected one of the higher efficiency units offered by Nohawk H. My decision was based on what I considered to be a fair price and based on my prior experinece with them (a new furnace installed several years ago and service work on furnace and air conditioning units over several years.) Within days two installers showed up at the time agreed upon and completed the installation to my complete satisfaction. In addition to performing quality work, they are neat guys to talk to. Mohawk Heating is a quality outfit. Highy recommended.

I just picked them out of the area. I liked what my friends told me about them. I was told that they were one of the better ones around. I was lucky that way. I had used quite a few services in my area, and I guess they had the best price that I wanted to pay. Their service was good. It took them two days, but then it was a lot of work. They had to rework some of the lines from the air conditioner and the heat ducts that supported them before. Everything went quite well. They did good work. Nobody had to come back and redo anything. Theirs was the lowest price that I could get at the time. It was a good price.

When we first starting using their service there was a different sales rep. He gave good estimates for proposed work. When a new sales rep came in, he was pushy and prices were raised considerably. Usually there was only one plumber who came. When installing the new radiator the plumber brought an helper. The sales rep attempted to charge me for another plumber. I pointed out to him that the extra person did nothing but sweep up behind the plumber. He did no plumbing. The newer style radiator they installed was a learning experience for the plumber they sent. Any older equipment they worked on they easily found the problems and maintained and repaired our system very well. The plumbers were professional, polite and punctual. I would call them again if my present HVAC company was unavailable because their work has been good even though their prices increased considerably.

not sure I trust them, I did not get a warm feelygot more of "It's tos old to fix, so replace it" sounded more like a user car dealer than a service tech

I like that they are available. They seem to be competent installers and service people. They are very punctual. We have been under a service contract for furnace cleaning for a number of years, and they have always been reliable. The pricing is competitive. I think the quality of the service is very good.

The representative arrived within 15 minutes of the appointment time and was very pleasant and professional. He started to show me what routine maintenance I should do on my boiler/furnace to keep it running well; but when he tried to drain the system, a cast iron pipe was so corroded that it fell off. It was a very cold day and he had several emergency calls but he calmly called his office and requested parts (which were delivered quickly), and he spent about 4 hours replacing the pipes and cleaning the system. He did not leave until everything was working properly. At all times he made it clear that getting my system up and running was his priority, and he would do the job correctly rather than a "quick fix" so he could move on to the next call. I was very impressed with his knowledge, and he took the time to answer all my questions. I would certainly recommend this company. In fact, they are coming back to install an automatic water feeder.

It was a positive experience. I have used them previously. They are good about keeping appointments and do what they say they are going to do.

Company was contacted to present bid on boiler installation. Representative came on time and answered questions. Installation of boiler was on time with the employees friendly to staff and courteous in their method. The removal of the old boiler system was difficult due to its location, but, they took care of removing the system.

The installer was not allocated enough time or by Mohawk heating to do the job correctly. Many shortcuts were attempted and attempts were made to not install an air inlet pipe and to use a single stage thermostat with the dual stage system. They also tried to save the trivial expense of a thermal expansion valve on a 22 Seer air conditioner (which the manual called for). The installer was not capable of even setting up the dip switches on the main control board or setting up the thermostat. The job took several weeks instead of the few days allowed and was of shoddy quality overall. Their service man (quite capable) had to be called in to clean up the installer's errors. A large leak was left where they ran the wiring and tubing through the basement wall and took months to get fixed. Any material they supplied was of the lowest quality imaginable (they tried to replace the window they ran the vent pipes through with a piece of cardboard and their duct work was full of holes I had to seal myself just for starters). A very unhappy and unpleasant experience perpetrated by people who came well recommended (but for things they had done in the remote past). I would not use them again under any circumstance as they always seemed to come up with a series of lame excuses and faulty arguments before conceding the points they were cutting corners on and grudgingly and slowly correcting their errors.

Work was fast , on time, only without heat for a short time. the installers worked well together. One had more experience than the other. Was a 2 day event. Workers clean, neat.

They are really par for the course. They are nice and knew what they were doing. He brought me a new Hepa filter that has helped reduce dust in the air. This is a honest company and they great to deal with.
