Bottom Line Up Front: Paulo is THE BEST, and you should call him for all your household carpentry needs. Work Performed: Structural Carpentry - Support for addition room above my two-car garage. Paulo replaced an undersized garage header (two 18” deep x 18’ long LVLs), and sistered 21 floor joists (9.5” deep x 19’ long LVLs). Why Paulo and his crew is THE BEST: Personable. Thorough. Great communication. Extremely high-quality work. Reasonable prices. Paulo and his crew showed up on time every day, worked long hours, and promptly completed the job in ONLY TWO DAYS. I called four separate contractors for quotes on the job. Paulo was the most thorough in analyzing the specifics of what needed to be done, and he clearly communicated his plan of execution. The job was tricky because the garage header is located below an eight-foot-wide picture window, and the header needed to be jacked up to remove 1-1/8” of sag in the floor above”. Paulo clearly communicated jacking up the floor could cause a crack in the window, but took extra care to help avoid it (constructed an additional support wall on the 2nd floor to help take some of the pressure off the exterior wall while jacking up the header). Guess what…. NO CRACK IN THE WINDOW! Paulo even performed additional work beyond what was included in the initial scope AT NO ADDITIONAL LABOR COST. Paulo cares. Paulo does high-quality work. Paulo does things the right way. This included removing/reinstalling numerous pieces of siding, cutting/installing OSB, Tyvek wrapping the exterior wall, and caulking to ensure a watertight seal. I was also highly impressed with his knowledge of residential building codes. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND CALL PAULO.

Great. Framing for kitchen and porch. Paulo and company did a great job,on time,within budget . I made several modifications while work was in progress and Paulo took care of them. Gladly hire them again. They are returning to hang and finish drywall in kitchen

He went above and beyond! Not only did he do the work, but he remained flexible with his time, and made adjustments as needed without adding more cost to the job. He even fixed a job that was incomplete from someone else just to make sure it looked right. He was easy to talk to, responsive, and dependable. Despite the 100+ degrees heatwave, he continued to put in the long hours. I would have understood rescheduling, but he didn’t even hesitate to do the work. I am more than satisfied and will recommend him to anyone I know!!

Paulo and his crew were next level fantastic !! They always showed up on time and did an amazing job. Paulo is a perfectionist which is great to have he custom made my faux beams and hand made pieces to interlock them. Perfection at its best !! Hope to do work with him in the future.

Work from Paulo was exceptional. All work was explained and performed as requested. A 12x12 2nd story balcony tied with a 12x24 deck below was built well. He measures twice and cuts once. Was on-time every day, which means a lot to me when choosing a contractor. Yes, I would hire again.
