I took the stuff to them to do the work. They were very professional, and they solved the problem for me.

Computer had been purchased a few months earlier from Best Buy's Albany Crossgates store. Computer at first functioned perfectly but soon became erratic and crashed routinely after booting up. We took it to Best Buy's Geek Squad desk, where we were told the problem required a fairly complex software fix and that the price of the fix would be $300. Dissatisfied with this diagnosis and the cost of proposed treatment, we took the still-new machine -- on the recommendation of a friend -- to Solutions by Design (SBD) in Delmar. SBD told us they suspected a malware problem and would take on the job. A couple of days later they called to let us know the computer had been repaired and was again in fully functioning condition. Total price: $37. The machine has been working perfectly since SBD's repair. We could not be more pleased with the service and the professionalism with which it was carried out. We have no intention of returning to the Geek Squad for service or advice of any kind.

Very professional, very good at grasping complicated tasks. Also willing to answer questions on the phone afterward. They are now my go-to place for computer services.

The work went smoothly and on time. The service representative answered our many questions patiently and precisely. He installed a free word processing systemn, thereby saving us a considerable expense.

Fantastic. I was frantic when the hard drive stopped working as I use the computer for a part-time business. So I joined and searched Angie's List. When I saw the Solutions By Design listing I remembered that I had used the business years ago for a laptop problem. I now have the computer back save and sound. They are very professional to work with. I could not have been happier with the service.

Solutions By Design (SBD) consulted with the agency regarding networking needs and designed a package to meet them. The changeover from the old network went smoothly without any loss of important data or records, and there was very little "down time" affecting the agency's business and operations.

THEY GOT RIGHT ON IT, AND THEY KNEW WHAT WAS WRONG. THEY ARE NOT EXPENSIVE. I WAS CONFIDENT THAT THE PLACE WAS ORDERLY AND I KNEW THAT THEY WOULD NOT MISPLACE THE COMPUTER. OVERALL, IT WAS AN ORDERLY OPERATION.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THAT'S WHERE I GO WITH MY COMPUTER.
