We were remodelling an upstairs bedroom and wanted to change the electrical configuration. The wall switch controlled an outlet in the room; we wanted to install a ceiling fixture and have it controlled by that switch. Steve returned our call promptly, and scheduled a visit for the estimate within a few days. The project required that Steve climb up into the attic space through a closet ceiling and reroute the electric line. He then installed the ceiling fixture to our specfications. He also removed two wall sconces and the switch that controlled them. He is a careful worker and very pleasant to work with.

This is the 4th or 5th time I have used LeGallez for electrical work. This past October he installed an outside electric outlet, and repaired a short in a chandelier. Every time I have called LeGallez, they have done the work promptly, efficiently, and at a what I believe to be a very reasonable cost. His work is neat, and professional, and he leaves everything cleaner than when he arrived. I would have no hesitancy in recommending LeGallez or calling them again if I need electric work.

He arrived a few minutes early, and only took about 10-15 minutes to look at the box, disconnect the wires and remove the box. Answered several general questions I had about the set up, and why it would have been left in the first place.

The electrician called the day he was scheduled to come and said he couldn't make it and had to reschedule. When he came, he fixed the problem in less than ten minutes. However, he charged me almost $90 for ten minutes of work. When I politely asked if there could be any reduction in the price because the job took so little time, he became argumentative. While I understand he drove 20 minutes to get to my house, I felt that the charge should have been reduced to half his hourly rate since the job, including travel, only took him 30 minutes. When I shared this thought, he became more aggressive. I would definitely not recommend using LeGallez Electric.

They came quickly when I called them on a Saturday when our one circuit kept blowing. We didn't know what was wrong and didn't want a fire or anything. He got here, examined the box, found it was fine and that the problem was being caused by a faulty power strip we had several thing plugged into. He was honest and fast to respond. Many could have taken advantage of the situation and done unnecessary work. He charged us only for the weekend service call.

A FINE LOCAL FIRM THAT KNOWS HOW TO DO A GOOD JOB. THEY DID EVERYTHING I ASKED OF THEM. THEY DID NOT OVERCHARGE ME. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM THAT I WAS EXPERIENCING QUICKLY. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
