 + -1 moreThe carpet had not been cleaned in sometime and it came back looking so much better...good work! Further, furniture needed to be moved around and lifted to remove and re-lay the carpet, and Mr Barret was able to handle this expertly. And, the price was good.

 + -1 moreThe same day I called, the owner came to my house and picked up the area rug. Within a week he brought it back and described what he did. He charged me less than he quoted me. The rug looks great and at that price I will do this again within a year.so worth it.

 + -1 moreTim Barrett, owner of Delmar Carpet Care, did an outstanding job restoring 3 oriental area rugs that had been poorly cleaned by another company that returned them to us with marks and discolorations including the fringes that we thought would never come out. Our rugs are now fully restored to pristine, like new condition, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of Tim's work. He came promptly, picked up the rugs and returned them within a few days. He was just a pleasure to work with and we will call him for other things he does like cleaning sofas and chairs.

Description of Work: Two Indian rugs were taken by Tim, thoroughly cleaned, and returned promptly. He provided assistance in moving furniture to set up the carpets again. I have used Tim for cleaning carpets for over ten years and have always had excellent service and cleaning. I would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: I had an oriental rug cleaned. I wanted it cleaned in 2 to 3 weeks. The owner, Tim Barrett, who I spoke with on the phone, said he could do that. He s aid he would call me the following week to arrange pick up. Which he did and was at my house the time and day he said he would be. He told me when he expected to call me to schedule the return. That was also done the expected time and it was delivered as expected. This was the first time I needed an oriental rug to be cleaned. My sister who lives in Syracuse had a few cleaned and the price was considerably higher for the same size rug. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreThey picked up the rug and they put away, cleaned it and brought back. They did not do the cleaning in the house. They brought the rug back just before Christmas. It was a reliable service, good price. They worked on a rug that was water damaged and molding. They cleaned it up and did a good job on it. We will use them again.

Description of Work: Called the week before Thanksgiving to have an area rug cleaned. The owner returned my original call within a day. Good. He asked if we needed the carpet cleaned before the holiday, and we did not, but did need it before mid-December. He said he could do that. Given how busy he was, he said he would call us back the week after Thanksgiving to let me know when he could pick up the carpet. That was the last we ever heard from him. We cannot comment on the quality of his work, but we are disappointed with his follow-up. Still have heard nothing, and it is nearly New Year's Day.

 + -1 moreThis gentleman arrived on time to pick up the rugs and delivered them on time. Two of the rugs were very soiled and now look and smell like new. They were high quality area rugs, Karestan and others. He did an excellent job. He also did a great job shampooing the wall to wall carpeting in two areas of our home. There was a stain on one beige carpet that I did not think would come out. Even though it looked clean when he left, I thought it might show up again when the carpet dried. It did not. He did a great job!! I will definitely hire this very pleasant and professional individual again.
Description of Work: This company both cleaned five area rugs of various sizes (which they picked up and then delivered) and shampooed the wall to wall carpeting in two other areas of our home.
