+ -1 moreCalled Mark and left a message and he returned the call almost immediately! He said he could install the dishwasher, we set up a time and he was prompt and courteous! A day or two later our toilet wouldn't stop running so I called Mark and he swung by and repaired it in no time!
Description of Work: We had Mark do a couple of different things, he installed a dishwasher and fixed a running toilet.

Description of Work: Installed an over the range microwave. Mark responded to my call right away, and accommodated my request to have the work done on a weekend. He also was willing to do only part of the work, even though I had originally had asked for a quote on other items as well. They did the work on 4th of July weekend, arrived early Saturday morning, removed the old cabinet and range hood, installed the new cabinet,the outlet for the microwave, and the microwave, and neatly piled up the boxes, etc.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. Mark came at the appointed time to scope out the work and provide an estimate. He had a professional demeanor and used our time well. He set the work appointment for a week later, and arrived at the agreed-upon time. He and his crew did the work exactly as I wished. It appears to be of very good quality. The total for the jobs came in less than the estimate. I'm very pleased and plan to hire Bethlehem Home Maintenance again.
Description of Work: I had a number of items that needed doing: remove a/c from window to store for winter; hang several pieces of large art work; repair a light fixture; repair a dryer vent; repair kitchen cabinets; hang a towel bar. Most of it wasn't technically challenging, but I couldn't do these things myself.

+ -1 moreThey were very good for first repair. Then after that, seemingly for no reason, they became very unresponsive, stopped answering calls and didn't follow up on a few other jobs that I had asked them to do when they finished the first job I hired them for. Very unprofessional in my opinion!

Description of Work: Mark was excellent! I was in need of some work to be done, I called him and he returned my call very quickly. He was very professional and always cleaned up when he was done with the job. Marks rates are very fair. I have never been disappointed by his work or what he charges. He is now on my first call person if I am in need of some repair work to be done.

+ -1 moreAlthough this person was very impressive at his first visit for an estimate (he came within a couple of hours of being called) & appeared knowledgeable (provided suggestions for some projects), he said he would get us an estimate the next day. It has now been more than 2 weeks - no estimate, no response to second phone call. Very confusing.
Description of Work: We requested an estimate for a few home projects. Although he was quick to stop by, no estimate was forthcoming & he did not respond to phone calls.

+ -1 moreI called a very nice guy named Mark. He did come in, but I did not use him. We just decided not to do the work. I thought he was fine. He is a good general handyman. He was very responsible. He did recommend somebody else that we used for putting up wallpaper border and that worked out very well. I would use him again.

+ -1 moreWe own a house that was built in the late 1700's. Some day we would like to take it down and build our retirement home. Mark has held this building together so that we may enjoy it until we are ready for a major re-build. No small feat.
Description of Work: We own 2 homes in the Delmar area. Mark has done work for us for the last three years, always fair and right on his estimate. The "small" jobs that are above our skill level he gladly accepts and understands that not all home owners are fix-it pro's. His professional approach and experience shines through on each job.
