Mark came the same day as my call, even though it meant coming in the evening. He fixed my gushing outside faucet and replaced the indoor shut off quickly and efficiently and cleaned everything up. He was professional and a pleasure to deal with. I've already recommended him to others and will definitely call him again in the future.

Though my project was not an emergency, Mark was responsive, direct, and flexible with me on when he could perform the job. Since I left work early to meet him for the appointment, I very much appreciated that he showed up when he said he would and worked quickly in a no non-sense fashion. His pricing was very fair, and he even cautioned me against the "up-sell" that other plumbers who bid on the job had suggested.

Our project manager recommended we engage Almindo for the plumbing. They submitted a bid. They showed us an insurance Acord. They did the work. It looked very professional to us. It passed town inspection. We have had no trouble with the plumbing. We paid most of the money at the completion of rough-in, and the remainder after the finishing work was done.

We had a new sink and garbage disposal waiting for installation from a big box store contractor but after waiting almost a week for just a call to schedule the installation, we couldn't stand not having water for another day. I looked on Angie's List and chose Almindo Plumbing because they were local. I called after 5pm on Monday and Mark returned my call within an hour. He said he could come out the very next day to do the installation and gave me an estimate over the phone. Mark kept his promise and came out the next day and did the installation and charged me $50 less than his original estimate! Would definitely recommend Almindo Plumbing!!

My overall experience with the company was very good. My plumber was prompt. He did his work quickly and efficiently. I do not think his prices were too bad. He seemed like he is a reliable guy. If you need a new equipment, I think he can refer you to a place that is less expensive.

I called Mark first thing in the morning when I discovered leaking from my water heater. He arrived at my house 1 hour later, gave me an estimate, and had the new unit installed and working just after lunch. I was impressed with his promptness, professionalism, and service. When there was a problem with one of the parts on the new water heater (faulty pressure valve), he came out to fix it at no additional cost to me, and stayed (in my opinion) longer than he had to just to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. I wish every home service professional offered the quality of service that Mark provided. I will be calling him again for all our plumbing work.

I called Almindo Plumbing first thing on Monday morning. Mark responded right away and came to check out the problem. He replaced the pipe on the spot. He was quick, clean and efficient. he is also very polite and explained everything to me in language I could understand.

I purchased the toilet. Mark gave me a fair estimate as to what the labor cost would be. He also explained a couple complications that could arise and if so what additional costs could be added. Luckily the replacement was an easy fix with no complications. Mark was professional, fair and did a great job. I will definitely call him again when needed.

h are 8 million years old)I hesitate to leave an honest review of Mark's work since I know it will contribute to his being so ridiculously busy that he won't have time to fix the millions of additional plumbing issues I still need to tackle throughout my home. But today was about a leaky faucet that had gotten pretty out of control and Mark returned my call quickly. He arrived on the next business day (and right on time as promised. We discussed the semi-ancient plumbing throughout my house, and he explained the problem in the shower. He was completely honest regarding the details of the job and what might happen given the age of the pipes involved. He laid out all options. Ultimately I let him make the decision as to how to proceed and in the end (and after he made an unexpected road trip to Schenectady where his guru sold him the perfect replacement thingamabob for my shower) he chose the option that was the least costly for me and now all is right with the world. Plumbing perfection. I will recommend Mark to others. (In fact, I went next door earlier this evening to the home of my neighbors who also have ancient plumbing in various states of disrepair) and gave them his number. :)

I chose to go with another plumber whose estimate was lower than Mark's estimate. I really wanted to work with Mark but the price was above what my budget allowed.

I called Mark and within 2 days he was at my house to fix the problem. He was on time and identified the problem within minutes. I have not had a leak in the basement since he came. I am exteremely pleased with his service, have given his name to friends and will definately use him again.

The tenants reported slow dripping faucets in their bathroom. One drip in the sink and one in the bathtub. We had previously had them both repaired by our handyman. This time we wanted a professional solution so we called Mark based on his high reviews on Angie's List. We placed the call at 9am and he said he would be in our area around noon. At noon he arrived and inspected the problems. He assured us that we could get the parts online and repair replace the faucets. He wrote down exactly what we needed and described how to do the replacements, He tried to leave without charging anything but we insisted that he take $20 for his efforts. Mark offered to come back and do the work if we have problems. We will certainly take him up on his offer if we have issues. Also, he will the the plumber we call if we have future problems in the house.

Mark was able to come over right away and did the job soon after. He explained clearly all the options we had, and we added some upgrades to the exhaust venting for safety. Mark was a pleasure to work with and we would call him again if we need any plumbing work done.

The pipes under my kitchen sink had developed a leak. I emailed Mark through this site and he contacted me back the next day saying he could meet me at my house in 20 minutes. He was very quick and professional through the entire process. Instead of just replacing the one piece, he took the time to redo everything under my sink since it had not been installed correctly originally by the previous owners of the home. I would defintely recommend and use him again.

vThis job was part of a remodel of a small 1/2 bath. I did a large portion of the non-plumbing. Mark was hired to relocate water supply and drains for both toilet and sink. The job was done in tqo visits, the first for relocation of pipes, the second for installation of the fixtures. Mark's work is very neat, not just from my viewpoint, but also that of several friends. He is very professionsal. In sum: good work for a fair price.

Mark was fabulous! I called and explained the situation: new counters were going in and I needed someone to hook up the faucet, drains and dishwasher. Mark walked me through the whole process over the phone, gave sound advice on picking out a faucet, told me the questions that I needed to get answered by the counter top installers, and gave me an estimate. He really set my mind at ease. When the counters were done, he got to my house within 24 hours to get teh job done. He was very professional. I will defeintely use him again.

Mark was great! I called him about an emergency leak on a Saturday, and he was incredibly responsive. He was on his way to pick up his children, but nevertheless was at my home within an hour because my situation was that dire. He was very personable and professional. I really appreciated his time and effort. Most importantly, he did a great job.

Mr. Almindo arrived on time to begin the work. He worked throughout the day, until the job was complete. He was very professional and paid close attention to details. We could not have asked for the job to be completed any better than it was completed. He is a nice man, excellent plumber and I would not hesitate to call him in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

A very busy plumber, but quality of work shows why. Took awhile to work out a date for work as both of our schedules were busy but with patience, I was able to get the work I needed to have done after moving into my first house. Good work, good materials and a very personable relationship with a customer with a lot of questions.

In my original phone conversation with him he let me know he was very busy with 2 other jobs and if it needed to be handled right away I should call someone else, but if it could wait a few days he would be able to do it. We waited until he was free and I am glad we did. He was punctual, he said he would arrive at 9 am and he was here right at 9. He told me he would have to cut throught the wall outside the bathroom to gain access to the shower pipes, he used a dropcloth to keep the area clean. He was tidy and cleaned up after himself as he worked. When he replaced the panel he cut out of the drywall he screwed it in and recommended "framing" it out with molding (like a picture frame) so it would look nicer but still allow access to the shower for future repairs. The shower repair works great, so nice to not have to work so hard to get the water to stop running, plus it used to shake inside the wall and now it is solid. Then he went into the basement to fix two small leaks, one was a shutoff valve that was corroded with lime and the other an old abandoned pipe for an ice machine. He showed me an issue we did not even know was there. This additional work only took another hour and he only charged $50 over the original estimate which had been based only on the shower repair. We will definitely call him again for plumbing repairs.

Great service - we had a washing machine delivered by Sears; they wouldn't complete installation b/c we had a "nonstandard" install (old house). Called the big local companies, was told it would take 5 days and was quoted high prices. Found Mark on A's List, called, and he showed up that afternoon, diagnosed the situation, came up with three alternatives,and worked his schedule around to do the job the next morning - on my schedule! He was fast, careful, tested everything, left things in better shape than he found them. No upsell, no condescension, very down to earth. Explained what he was doing in detail. Quite reasonable; actually charged us less than the original estimate. He is now our "go to" guy for plumbing.

Called Almindo Plumbing, LLC because we needed a dishwasher and an outdoor faucet installed, and had an indoor faucet in need of repair. He arrived in a timely manner and finished all tasks in a few short hours. Almindo Plumbing, LLC was thorough, and explained everything sufficiently (i.e. what may have caused issue with indoor faucet, how to install dishwasher, etc.). Almindo Plumbing, LLC is extremely neat and tidy (not only with the work that he does but with his appearance as well (which should be a MUST in the plumbing business) I have had jobs performed by other plumbers who did not wear gloves and it's difficult to want to shake someone's hand when they appear as though they haven't washed them in years! Almindo Plumbing, LLC cleaned up after the job he did, and was friendly to boot! I strongly recommend contacting this business for any and all plumbing needs! A+++

Mark was great about finding information on what the code requirements were for this job from the town and then executing the job very quickly. We had been trying to get other plumbers in the area to deal with it, and then used Angies List to find Mark and he was GREAT. He got to the work very quickly and the quality was excellent. We will definitely use Almindo plumbing for all our work in the future!
