Doug and the boys at Delanson did a great job on my driveway and the structure of a small pea gravel patio. Doug answered my initial call immediately. We then met to discuss the projects , set a price and a start date. The outcome was perfect . Clean up left my property almost in better shape than it was found before the project began. Doug’s team were hardworking and very respectful of my property. Doug is not just the boss/owner, but he picks up a shovel and makes material deliveries to keep the project rolling and timely. He used emails for some of his communications, which I found to be succinct and professional. We did a final walk through after completion; life is good. You owe it to yourself and your property to meet Doug. It will be time well spent.

They are, simply put, incredible. Great work. Great price. And Doug is a really good guy and a pleasure to work with.

Delanson Gardens (Doug) was beyond fantastic to work with. Doug provided a timely quote and accurate estimates for when he would start the job and walked us through the logistics from start to finish. Doug and his team worked extra hard to keep the project moving when we hit (literally) a major roadblock and found a boulder where our patio was supposed to be. Doug made a recommendation for a design change that worked and kept the project moving forward. He also went above and beyond and used our extra materials to spruce up some areas of our yard beyond what was in scope. Doug is punctual, communicative and extremely attentive to detail. You will not be disappointed.

I ended up choosing to do it myself. It was to put a French drain in my back yard. It cost me only $700 but if I had them come in it would have cost me like $2500. It was the price that really threw me off. As for their overall outlook they seemed to be a very decent company. It was very good, I had no problems with them. Their price was way above what I expected to pay. I wasn’t happy with the estimate.

Doug was responsive every step of the way. He not only made excellent suggestions but also invited us to share our ideas. He allowed us to choose the majority of the plantings for the yard. He supervised his workers, made changes when necessary and cleaned up after each work day. He was respectful and a pleasure to deal with. Please take a look at some of the work completed by Doug.

Great experience. I've been looking for a landscaper for several years. Many are prohibitively expensive or unprofessional or impossible to get a hold of. From start to finish, working with Doug was a pleasure. He does what he says he's going to do and does it well. When it came time for the work to be done showed up on time with his crew, worked virtually unsupervised bc I had to go out of town, and I came home to a beautiful yard. They cleaned up after themselves throughly as well. Doug is a great guy who is approachable and easy to talk to. He clearly knows his stuff and I found him to be trustworthy. I'm already thinking up more stuff for him to do.

When Doug arrived, he walked the yard with us, explaining how to care for our plants. He was very knowledgeable, so we decided to hire him for a fall cleanup & to install a support post for our fence. His price did seem a little high, but we decided to hire him since he really was informed about the care of plants, flowers, ect... He arrived on the day we scheduled with 2 helpers, who appeared to be teenagers. Doug worked from the minute he arrived to the yard was finished, but his helpers were more interested in fooling around. This is the reason I have him a B for professionalism. Doug did a nice job cleaning up the yard, trimming plants & bushes, and installing the new fence post. The yard looked lovely! He has also kept in touch with us via email to let us know about specials, availability for jobs. He also has responded, in a timely fashion, when we emailed him with questions about how to treat the yard for springtime. He is always very pleasant & available if we have any questions or concerns.

Doug was very helpful in answering questions on upkeep. He pointed out some landscape timbers which were rotting which we couldn't see because bushes were so overgrown. A few days later he also gave an estimate on some other work we wanted to get done spring of 2017. We were very pleased.

My grass did not grow very well at all. Their responsiveness was very good. They were very nice people. They were very nice, polite, acted well and did the job. Their professionalism was excellent. It wasn't their fault.

Doug Fall went out of his way to make sure the work was done and done correctly. Its very nice out there and it makes a wonderful place for my grandson to play.

It went great! The fence is beautiful, and he did it as we had discussed. Before putting together an estimate, we discussed the fence replacement project along with another landscaping project we want to do. He provided two separate estimates, and made timely updates as I provided feedback. Doug is very professional, and knowledgeable and offered many great suggestions throughout the process. I had complete confidence in his judgement and his skills to get the job done. He worked very efficiently and takes pride in the work he does. He always responded to my emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner and contacted us with questions along the way. I'm a person who likes to do work around the home and be involved in a project. Doug was very good about letting me take the parts of the project that I felt comfortable doing (and that I felt I had time to do), and making it clear in the estimate what his responsibilities in the project were.

Absolutely beautifully! Doug picked up the plants from the nursery for me, as well as the fencing, installed all and planted all in the 2 days he had estimated, ON the 2 days he had scheduled. He was very educational concerning the care of the plants, and his aesthetics were beautiful. I will definitely employ him again.

Delanson gardens did a great job! The owner, Doug, was always very friendly and responsive, and he always kept his appointments. Our new lawn looks fantastic, and the team did a great job of removing some very overgrown bushes and trees. I was surprised by how quickly the job was done! There was a lot of ground to cover, so to speak, and it was all finished in a single weekend. The team works very clean, all the brush and clippings were bundled up and carted off without us having to worry about it. I highly recommend this provider.

Excellent! Doug walked the property with us and asked questions about what we would like to have, our likes and dislikes and offered ideas to create the outcome we wanted. He followed up with a detailed plan that included plant suggestions with links to look up so that we could make an informed decision. His plan was elegant and included all the elements that we asked for and more. Doug and his crew consistently showed up on time as planned. Phone calls and emails were always returned promptly. Doug's expertise in landscaping is evident by his work, additionally he is friendly and a real pleasure to work with. All the plants and trees he brought were all in excellent health. Upon completion Doug delivered us an exquisite garden that we are thoroughly pleased with. We will not hesitate to call upon him again. His workmanship and professionalism is outstanding!

Went very smoothly. Did a fantastic jobs of cleaning up after and keeping a neat, organized, work area, finished timely. The painting job is lovely. I told him he should change the name of his company to Delanson Gardens and Aesthetics. He really seems to take pride in a job well done.

Doug's communication was excellent. There was no need to track him down and he was very considerate of my schedule. He was personable and polite. The work performed was excellent and i highly reccommend.

First of all he accomidated my work schedule & did the work on a Saturday. He felt it was important for me to be home, to answer any questions & to periodically critique the progress, making sure that it was what I was wanted. He was late to arrive because he refused the quality of the stone I wanted & went to another supplier that had a better quality product. He called to let me know why he was late & gave me an approximate arrival time. He brought one other employee and both were very professional. They worked the whole day & didn't leave until I was satisfied with the end result. The next day I received an email asking if I had any questions or concerns about their completed job. That was impressive to me & showed me that the goal of Delanson Gardens is to provide the highest quality of work for their customer. I responded to that email in a joking manner telling him that my dog had pulled up some of the weed fabric. I asked him what the product was called because I would repair the area in the Spring. He replied with the information I asked for and then asked me when was a good time for him to come over and repair it. I ignored the email because I didn't want him to travel to Troy to repair a problem that my dog made. Well I came home from work this week and found my garden was repaired and the leaves were removed from the areas he worked on. What a wonderful surprise and another example of the pride he takes in his work & the importance of having a satisfied customer! I have already scheduled more work to be done in the Spring!
