Delanson Gardens did a great job cleaning out the grass and weeds from my neglected flower beds, trimming the existing bushes, and planting new bushes and a lovely dogwood tree. Doug and his assistant, Noah, were friendly and professional, and worked diligently to get the job done right. Doug provided suggestions for plantings and he was also open to my ideas and provided helpful information about all of the plants. The plants he selected at the nursery are all very healthy and beautiful, and they are thriving. Some of the work was probably more difficult than Doug anticipated (removing buried paver stones from an old garden and dealing with a cement base where a lamp had been), but he honored the original estimate and really went the extra mile. The work took longer than the expected one day, and they cleaned everything up and left the grounds in good shape even though the work was going to be continued the next day. As they were wrapping up, I was surprised to find that Doug had planted mums to fill in some space around a Dwarf Korean Lilac that is quite small at this point, and he refused to accept payment for them. They are lovely. Doug even came around to water the plants during the following week when I was out of town. Really exceptional work at a reasonable price. I will definitely hire them again.

Doug Fall was very prompt and responsive, replying to my request for a free estimate, coming out and giving a thorough review of the situation. He gave a fair and reasonable estimate. When he arrived, I added a few items and he included them at a very reasonable amount above the initial estimate. I asked for and received what I thought was very good advice. Doug says that he specializes in "curb appeal," but he really does much more, since we don't want to just make the place look good and sell it; we live here and wanted advice as to how to help us make both our front and back look good for the long term. Doug is always cheerful and helpful and his crew was also polite and patient. Everything was on time and professional and we completely trust him and his many good landscaping ideas, several of which he forwarded with email attachments, pointing us to helpful web sites. One other thing. We almost didn't contact him, despite good reviews, because Delanson seemed so far from Saratoga and we doubted he would come here. But he seems to have other local clients and was unfazed about the trip to us. Doug's professionalism was head and shoulders above others we contacted about this project and we are very happy about our decision to go with him (now and in the future he's our landscape guy).

Doug and his crew showed up at 8:30 am as promised on Sunday July 19, 2015 and worked through till 4:00 pm. The day was very humid and temp was 90 degrees. Doug and his team did an outstanding job, I couldn?t be more pleased. The yard looked better then I could imagine. They were pleasant, professional, and they even gave me tips about the landscape. The price was very reasonable. When they were done they were very meticulous in cleaning everything up. You couldn?t tell they were even there. I would recommend Delanson Gardens to anyone. I will defiantly use them again.

Doug and his crew were professional, personable, and hard working. Great attention to detail. Result was excellent. Price was reasonable. We plan to hire them again when the need arises.

Doug did a wonderful job. Our landscaping was overgrown due to us not having the time to do it ourselves. He came in and cleaned it all to our extreme satisfaction. Doug's works is very detailed and shows he really loves his work. We'll definitely be hiring him again for other projects.

He had a few crew members that assisted in the project. Each of them was VERY polite and professional. The plants he provided were excellent quality and are now looking lovely. New weed fabric has been installed and the garden mulched so it looks much better than before. This was after significant weeding was done. In one very sloped area we requested creeping phlox plants which he was providing and his quantity generously filled out my sparse first attempt to repair this section of the garden. He kept his work area clean, organized, and un-intrusive. When the job was finished everything was cleaned up, all unused materials removed, all trashed picked up. He and his crew did an excellent job and we have already hired Delanson Gardens to do another project here at the house.

Doug arrived on time and at that time we reviewed the plans we had originally talked about at the initial visit. I then went over some changes I wanted to make with the lay out and size of the garden. He measured out the changes aI wanted to make, I agreed, and the job was started. The job consisted of removal of existing bushes, tilling the area where the beds were going to be placed, removal of roots and stones. The 4 yards of top soil was added and leveled, boxes were placed and filled the walk areas were covered with weed block and mulch. All I can say is that I am extremely fussy about everything, and I have to say that my veggie garden has curb appeal and blends well with all my other gardens. I am also having more work done in a few weeks and I am convinced it will be done to the same level of perfection as the last job. No need for concern, you will get a job you will be totally satisfied with.

Absolutely perfect! Doug is one of the best individuals that I've ever hired (and I hire a lot of people). He is not only a very nice person, but he offers great suggestions. He and his crew show up on schedule and work exactly as planned. There are very few companies that I would refer to others, but Delanson Gardens is at the top of the list!

It went exceptionally. Delanson Gardens executed beautifully on a large job that took all day long!

I was impressed by the meticulous attention to detail, the care taken when moving existing plantings, and the insistence on doing everything exactly "right." Doug Fall, the supervisor, took time to explain what he was doing and why, and to confirm the location of each planting. He also made suggestions about various plants and the locations, but didn't argue if I wanted something different; even if it was difficult to do, he made it work. He worked with a team of two college-age people who not only worked extremely hard, but had great attitudes, even though the weather was unpleasantly hot and humid. The work ethic is not dead! At the end of the day, everything was cleaned up, put away, and neat. Also important to know: Doug was very good about keeping in contact with me, letting me know if they were running late, and so on. I am very, very pleased with the results of Doug Fall & team's work. I have other projects in mind, and this company will be the first and only ones I call.

OOOps, I guess I answered this question above. The bottom line is, Doug Fall is who you talk to, he will be the man who comes and does your work, he never and I mean never leaves the job site and constantly watches over the men who work for him. He has made us so happy, we have a sign of his prominently displayed on our front yard. If anyone wants to see what I am bragging about, ask Doug to give you Jim and Ronni's address, and you can come and inspect for yourself the kind of work this Gentleman does.

The picket fence added a nice touch! Looks great, and the squirrels and birds are very happy. I have used Doug from Delanson Gardens since last summer. I am very happy with the work he does. He is very reliable, pays attention to detail, and is prompt. He will also be building a patio for me over the summer.

He is an amazing man. He provides free estimates. We have 5 gardens that are absolutely gorgeous. He never leaves the job site, even when his crew goes to lunch. He never asks for a deposit up front, he always had the equipment needed. Our neighbors always make good remarks about our yard. We have highly recommended him to others. He even comes with references, including mine.
