Wendel Home Center DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.Wendel Installed siding, windows and doors for us about 15 years ago. We since had been having leaks and figured it may be roof. Roof was then replaced by another terrible company but leaks remained. We tried getting in touch with Bill Ritter from Wendel, contacting their office and leaving messages for 2 weeks with no reply, went by showroom and left message and yet still no reply. We contacted the roofer B&G and had them take a look. Roofer found that the siding company, Wendel, never installed flashing from siding to roof and did not properly cap windows. The roofer, B&G, was puzzled as to why his roof installer would ever install a roof without that flashing in place. We also had Mitch from MAJOR HOMES take a look and he confirmed that flashing that would be installed with siding job was never even installed and also amazed that roof would be installed with that not in place. He even offered to fix it for at no cost if Wendel Home Center did not stand behind their work. We continued calling Wendel Home Center with no reply. Finally, after 10 phone messages, Bill from Wendel called. He quickly denied, over the phone that the flashing was never installed and simply blamed the roofer. We explained that we had Wendel install all the windows, whole house siding and 3 new doors and could he at least come take a look about flashing and leak issue. At first he didn't want to come at all since the job was 15 years ago then said he would have to charge us just to come take a look at his company's work. And if he found any issues that he would have to charge us for any corrections of errors on the job. He CLEARLY DID NOT WANT TO STAND BEHIND HIS COMPANY'S WORK. VERY UNSATISFIED WITH WENDEL HOME CENTER'S POOR RESPONSIVENESS AND POOR PROFESSIONALISM AND POOR QUALITY WORK.
