A designer met with us to discuss our needs and size up the physical space. She made many recommendations and came back to measure and share the company's ideas. In six weeks the installers were here, working continuously to give us our dream walk-in closet!

I first contacted North Shore Closets to get a design and a quote for the walk in closet. I was very happy with the design and the price. Having tried a few other companies as well, I chose North Shore Closets, not only because of the design and price, but especially because the closets are manufactured right here on Long Island. From the time I ordered the built in closet until installation it took exactly 1 month. The installers were very professional. they carefully covered the stairs and carpets that they would be walking on, professionally installed the closet, vacuumed, and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks you for a wonderful experience.

Lynda was so friendly and helpful and did an amazing job designing my closets. They came out just as I imagined. The crew that installed them couldn't have been more friendly. I was very happy with their work and would definitely use them again in the future!

The quality is great. The closets look wonderful, and the men were very concerned with making sure they didn't track any dirt into the house as they were working outside to cut materials and then coming back in. The closet design discussed works very well for our needs. Nick, the owner, was extremely helpful, friendly, and willing to do whatever was necessary to make the job successful!

We had a wonderful experience with North Shore Closets and Betty Day. Betty responded to my initial inquiry in a timely manner and came to our house on a Saturday to provide an estimate. She provided guidance and advice, but followed our lead. Within 2 days of coming to our home, Betty provided an estimate and detailed plans. Of the 3 quotes we received, Betty's was the most competitive. Another competitor took 16 days to respond with a quote (with no communication in the interim). And another competitor was nearly double the price with no justification -- other than confusion or gouging. Betty responded to all of our questions (by text and email) and revised the plans as needed -- no nonsense. The installers came on time (and again on a Saturday to accommodate us) and they were clean, neat and FAST. We had just finished staining our stairs and they wore booties and laid down blankets. They cleaned up after themselves and went over the final product with us (Betty even showed up on installation day to make sure all went well and she was available throughout the day to answer questions). We would certainly recommend North Shore Closets to others and use them again.

I contacted North Shore Cabinets approximately 2 weeks ago and asked for a quick consultation since I was going on vacation and was hoping to do the project upon my return. Lisa, one of the employees, came to my house the next day and arrived on time. When I had her look at the closet I was interested in redesigning, she measured but didn'tt offer any recommendations. Lisa told me that in a few days she would e-mail a rendering for my review. As of today, I have not heard from Lisa or received anything. I'm actually not disappointed since Lisa spent only 5 minutes in my house and didn't appear particularly friendly or confident in her abilities. This has been my only negative experience with Angie's List when working with a very highly rated company.

Everything went great. I spoke with Nick and made an appointment. He came on time, asked what I wanted took his measurements and left. No lengthy sales pitch. ?. I got an email the next day with the design. I liked it and went to their office in Deer Park and chose a color and arranged payment, half upfront and the balance on completion. I wanted to surprise my wife for Christmas but they wouldn't agree to come to house after 4pm on Xmas eve so I had them come on 12/22. The installers came on time and they were clean and neat. They installed the closets in a couple of hours and cleaned up after themselves. Very nice fellows. My wife loves the closets when she came home. My experience with this company was perfect. I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend them. One more thing, there price was very reasonable.

I called and spoke to Nick who made an appointment to see me the following day. Nick was very knowledgeable and helped my husband and I design our master closet. We were hoping to get our closet installed before we went on vacation and Betty spoke to us and made sure this was done. She also gave us an excellent price because we found them on Angie's list. Our closet is all we hoped it would be. The installers were neat and did an excellent job. My husband and I would definitely recommend North Shore Closets and Cabinetry.

I got two estimates and Nick was by far the cheapest - by about 35-40%. I spoke with Betty and scheduled time for Nick to come out for an in-person estimate. Later that week Nick showed up, on time, and completed the estimate in about 15 minutes. After receiving the second estimate, I decided to go with Nick. He came back to remeasure some final details and take the deposit. During this session, we decided on colors, textures, and small minor details. Nick was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. About 2 weeks later Bobby and Augustine came to for the installation. They were on time and installed the entire walk-in closet (in a full bedroom mind you) in about 5 hours. They cleaned and took all debris with then when they left. They were nice and friendly, no fuss installers. I definitely recommend Nick and crew. I'm actually going to work with these guys on another project soon.

If you are looking for the best quality and price, look no further. This company is EXCELLENT. Bobby, Augustine and Dominique, true profesionals; they did magnificent work in short time. If all companies and workers would be like this one, America would be even better. Excellent workers. Nick did work that other company (california closets) did not want to do. They wanted me to remove all mirrors, although I wanted them to stay as a backwall for the closets. Nick, figured it out and left them in place. It looks fantastic! The price was also unreal for the amount of work and quality. I would use them again and again and recommend them with all my heart. BRAVO!

Nothing but the best to say about the interactions with all the employees, the final installed system, and the workmanship. The design process went very smoothly. On the day of installation the crew arrived promptly, were very courteous and professional. Finished the job on time, cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Very pleasant experience! Would definitely use North Shore Closets and Cabinetry again for future work.

We were on a short time frame - called about 10 days before we were to move into our new home. Nick came the same day that we called (Wednesday) and Thursday of the following week, Rob and Agustin installed the closets. Amazing! Everyone was very courteous and recognized our concern to have the work done before move-in. The closets (materials and construction) are beautiful and the installation was done in a very professional manner. They cleaned up so that the closets were ready for use. We are very satisfied!

Fantastic. Betty and her team were amazing. Betty works more as an interior designer, and her recommendations were outstanding. She was very honest about what she thought would work well for us and about what type of work might best be done by her or someone else. The installation and work quality were excellent as was the price. I would highly recommended her to friends and family (and I have!).

All I can say is WOW. Even my husband was impressed. It is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to be home tomorrow to fill all those lovely shelves and draws up. Great people to work with.

Amazing! There are no words to express how truly happy that I am with the service and professionalism of North Shore Closets. I knew from the first phone conversation with Betty, that this was the company I wanted to deal with. At first, I had only planned to do my master closet, but after our initial meeting, I decided to have all of the closets in our house done including a very odd sized pantry that had very minimal options. Betty's goal from the very beginning was for me to be not only happy with the outcome of my closets, but excited about them, especially my master. Excited was an understatement. I told her the day that it was installed that I wanted to sleep in it, I loved it so much. Here we are, over a month later and I still feel the same way! Lol....I am still setting it up(color coordinating my possessions) so I will update this review with pictures soon, but I could no longer wait to share my experience. I am not easily impressed by many things, and during my entire home building process, let's just say, my faith in anyone to impress me was diminishing, until I met the amazing team at North Shore closets. Their knowledge, attention to detail, communication and design skills, business and work ethics are just a few of things that gave me confidence in them. When Nick, Mike and Matt came to my home to install, I could not believe how professional, careful and clean they were! Not to mention, every single person in the company has a great personality! Huge plus! Their selections in colors, materials, styles, and all those little extras are extensive....prices,for the quality of work they do, impressive. I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who appreciates quality and great customer service, and to anyone, like myself who wants to smile every time the walk into their closet. So happy with them, I am inviting them back into my home very soon to custom build by office and laundry room! So excited!

Betty has been fantastic to work with these past few months. I originally called her to get a design and quote to turn one of my bedrooms into a walk-in closet. She made great use of the space (much better than another well known Closet company) and her price was very reasonable. Installation went smoothly and we loved it so much that we hired North Shore Closets to design and install a reach-in closet in our master bedroom as well. I have recommended Betty to multiple people already and would definitely use her again in the future if I ever needed another closet!

Bebe was a wonderfully responsive saleswoman who knew what I was imagining in the form of cabinet layout and she put the dream into reality!! I was pricing around getting a master closet custom made and spoke with one of the representatives. Their pricing came back on the high end so I did not have them come to my home to continue with this project. They were very nice on the phone but their prices were too high.

Betty and North Shore Closets & Cabinetry Inc. are AMAZING. She made an appointment for a consultation the moment I called her. She came to our home when she said she would, she listened to what my husband and I needed and designed a closet that met every single need. The installation took one day and the guys did an outstanding job. We were impressed by the quality of the work and the material.We would (and have ) recommended North Shore Closets & Cabinetry Inc. to our friends and family.

We have been living with the designs and systems for the past 4 months, and found our very limited closet space to be terrific! Great design and workmanship! Recommended by our designer Rosanne Lombardo, North Shore Closets was a pleasure to work with and the final products are amazing. Betty measured and designed the closets to our needs. She looked at all of our clothes, measured them and tailor fit the closets to match. Her suggestions on where we should store our things were spot-on. The custom built laundry room cabinets were a challenge but perfectly executed. The installers were expertly skilled, polite and super clean. We did not even have to wipe down the shelves or vacuum the closets before we put our clothes in. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this company. Shop around but then hire these people! (BTW we moved into our new house and found that the previous owner had removed all the shelves and poles in every closet in the house. North Shore Closets really started from scratch!)
