Joe's Complete Tree Service

I called for an estimate and I was told Joe would get back to me. When he called the time he wanted to come was not good for me. He said he would call me to make another appointment. He never caled again.

went very smooth. company has very state of the art equipment which made their job easier. Huge trucks, remote controlled stump grinder etc. Very impressive.

So, out of the blue my insurance company sent notice that the large oak tree in front of my home had branches that were "too close to the dwelling". The tree needed to be cut back. The tree is way over my two story home and I had no idea how much needed to be removed etc. I called on Wednesday to make an appointment for an estimate. I was told I would hear back from someone by Friday. Sure enough Friday came, phone call received and appointment set. Jim arrived promptly at our scheduled time and knew exactly what was required by insurance. Furthermore, he noticed another tree on my property that was being stunted by the overgrowth of a neighbor's tree. The price was fair. My schedule was VERY open and so when he said they would call the night before they were going to come, I was ok. Sure enough two evenings later I received a call. They showed up the next morning ON TIME. Three trucks, chippers, etc. The men were very nice, professional and even removed some dead branches that were not "close to the dwelling" :) Clean up was fabulous. Neighbors tree was trimmed as well. No problems. Would certainly use them again!

.I called and left message on Joe's machine on a Saturday after hours and received a call back Sunday. One of Joe's guys { BIG JIM} notified me when he could come for an estimate on that Sunday and called before coming and was right on time. Very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. That following Thursday the crew was at my front door exactly the time they said and notified me that they were on their way prior. These guys are like swat team! the job was perfect I had a large tree surrounded by a lot of shrubs and not one was damaged during the tree removal. Joe has some serious equipment! Under 2 hours later tree and hedges removed and complete clean up!

Called on 6/17/12. Jim arrived on 6/18 and provided a detailed drawing and estimate for the entire job. We agreed on payment terms,. He accepted the discount provide by Angies list and said they would have the job completed within 7-10 working days, depending on the weather.I advised him that we might not be home when they were ready. He said this was not a problem. On 6/26 we received a call from Joe, indicating they would be at our house to start work on 6/27 at 2pm. We were away that day, but would be returning that afternoon. When we arrived, the property was a beehive of activity! We missed all the FUN!. All the trees and branches were cut, chipped and removed. All leaves and small vegetation was raked from my property and my neighbors', and the crew was in the final phases of cleanup and equipment removal. They had completed the work within the two hours they predicted! We were very impressed and pleased. I thanked the five members of the crew that were there and said "Well Done"! Later that evening, Joe called and said he was pleased to hear we were pleased with the job. We settled on the final balance and payment over the phone. I said Goodbye and Thanks, and said I would have no problem recommending his company! DJD

Joe stated that they did not need to be removed but he would do so if I wanted them down. I decided to keep the trees, but if in the future I decide to remove them I will go with Joe's service.

Needed someone to trim a dogwood tree on our front yard, to clean up some broken branches due to storm, to trim back tree branches overhanging our roof, and to remove a broken trunk off a large multi-trunk tree. Joe and his crew showed up right on time and managed to get all the work done within a few hours, with no mishaps. Joe and his crew were very professional throughout the whole process and Joe's advice on what should and shouldn't be done was very helpful. I would definitely use Joe again for future tree work.

My husband called Joe late Thursday afternoon, Joe called back the next day (Friday) and arranged to come back Saturday afternoon to remove the entire tree. We agreed on a price, which was comparable to other estimates I had received. On Saturday, Joe and crew arrived at the house with serious equipment - a bucket to get access to the high point of the tree to secure with ropes; a claw to grab the horizontal piece so it would not crash down on the driveway once it was cut (preventing damage to our driveway and stone wall), and crew of 5 that cut the tree into sections to haul away. The tree was down in about 30 minutes, the tree cut up and hauled away and yard cleaned up in about an hour. Joe went the extra mile to remove and prune a few other tree limbs in other trees on our property. When Joe and crew cleaned up, the yard looked better than when he started. The entire job took a little over an hour and a half. My experience was very positive, I would (and have) recommend Joe's Tree Service to anyone.

The job was quoted on Monday and completed the next day. The whole experience was professional for beginning to end. I will definitely recommend their services to friends.

I called Joe's Complete Tree Service and they were at my house the next day to give me an estimate and said they would return in five to ten days. Five days later they called and said they would be there the following moring at 7:30. They arrived the next day at 7:30 and began working. They were prompt, very professional and cleaned up everything nicely. I would definitely recommend Joe's Complete Tree Service.

Joe's Tree Service was hired to remove some large fallen and broken tree branches resulting from Hurricane Sandy. I tried other Tree Service Companies earlier but none of them showed up or called back. Joe's price was fair. The crew showed up on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up afterwards and left the site immaculate.

Left message which was promptly returned and we exchanged a couple of messages. We were out for the day and got a call the next morning saying he had come by our house while we were out and had viewed the trees we were concerned about and told us the brown leaves were probably the result of the hurricane and we should just wait and do nothing now. No charge, and no effort to drum up business. Also made a couple of suggestions for us to do things with our yard that he does not do. We will definitely use Joe when we have future needs.

I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the work performed by Joe's Complete Tree Service. The crew was prompt and able to come the day after I received an estimate for the cost of the work I needed done. The workers were very capable and neat, and cleaned up all the branches and debris when they were done. Joe was there making sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. I would definately use this company again.

I had found Joe's Complete Tree Service on Angie's list and contracted him based in part on the favorable reviews. The price was also very reasonable. The crew showed up before 8 am as expected and set to work immediately. An unused car (dead battery) needed to be moved - I left the car unlocked so the crew could move it, then I left for work. The car was returned to the same location by the crew when they were done. All stumps were ground, all branches and trunks removed from the property. If not for the missing trees and ground stumps, you'd never know they had been here. Joe was very clear in what I should expect and the crew delivered exactly as promised. The entire job was handled professionally and expertly.

This tree service was great! I had several similar bids for pruning my large trees. I had just joined Angie's List and saw all the great reviews and decided to go with Joe's. I am glad I did. They are a very professional Co. And crew. Several trucks showed up and everyone went to work. The crew were all courteous and respectful of me and my home. Within 2 hours all the trees were pruned, the grass raked and the deck and driveway cleaned. They put back everything where it belonged and left it cleaner then when they came. Too bad they don't do windows! I would definitely use Joe's again and I highly recommend them.

It went better then I planned

I was contacted 2 days after my first call to give me an estimate. I wanted to reschedule, but was told he, Joe, would be able to come right away....he arrived within 12 minutes. For (2)20'-25' trees cut down to the stump, another small tree, a small, dead Dogwood tree cut & ground down, a Pear tree cut back a bit, and 3 very large branches cut off another very large tree, he gave me a price of $550.00. I than asked him how much to cut 3 additional large branches hanging over my deck and he said he would do it for $700.00. I thought this sounded very reasonable and signed a contract with a $50.00 deposit. I said I wasn't sure when I could arrange to be there, and he said if I couldn't be there he would personally come to oversee the job, which he wrote on his part of the work order. I received a call the next afternoon from another Joe, who I now know is the owner, stating he could come right away. I was getting ready to go out , and a bit harried, and he couldn't give me a specific appointment for the following week, but after he asssured me there would be no problem if the work was done in my absence, and that I could pay later. They came shortly after with 2 big trucks and a big crew. I had to leave, but shortly after received a call from the initial Joe, saying he just missed me, and the job was complete...and looked beautiful. The entire job was completed within approximately 1 hour, from start to TOTAL cleanup! Not one branch was left. Oh, by the way, there was another very small dead tree in the front that was taken down without charge. I paid the following week, and am very happy to write this review. They deserve an EXCELLENT review for an EXCELLENT JOB!!! Obviously, I highly recommend them, and have already given out their number.

The job was done well from start to finish. Crew cleaned up the yard after they were done. Very neat.

Joe's did not do the work. When we called them they explained they no longer do stump grinding. But they referred us to a gentleman who they said would do the work and was professional and trustworthy. That guy was great. He cam within a couple days, did the job very professionally and was extremely courteous to my wife. We appreciate the fact that Joe's referred us to someone who really worked out well for us.

Joe's removed one standing tree and one downed tree and ground four stumps, which was one more stump then in the estimate at no extra charge. They do a great job of cleaning up after the job.

Joe was prompt and professional from the start all the way to end. He was the only tree service to call me back within 24 hours. I called him on a Fri afternoon. The next Saturday morning he called me back and said he could meet me that day to give an estimate. He showed up and told me that he would remove the two trees I had asked about as well as grind the stumps and also an additional two stumps. He then told me he would also remove fallen branches on the property without me even mentioning them. ALL FOR $500! I was shocked when he told me the price, I was hearing from friends and family members that it would probably cost at least a grand. He also recommended that we wait until the Spring to see what blooms before we decide to do anything else with the property which was great advice. We set up a potential date (that Thursday since I was closing on the house that Wednesday) and I called him Tuesday night to confirm and spoke with a friendly woman on the phone who told me he would get back to me as soon as possible. He called me the next day promptly to let me know that he would be there between 7:30-8:00 am Thurs morning to do the job. When my boyfriend and I showed up after work to do some work on the house, the job had been done and what a difference! They did a really great job. Joe had told me they would leave some logs behind but would be back that night to pick them up. He showed up around 6:30 pm that night and removed the logs within 5 mins and he was gone. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. I also will be using him again in the future. He was professional, prompt and you can't beat the price we were given. So happy we used him. I'm still in shock that it was all done so quickly and for the price that was estimated :)

Very responsive to phone calls. They came to make an assessment within a couple of days. They came to remove the tree as scheduled a couple of days later and did a bang-up job. Joe is a straight shooter and dependable. Will definitely use him again if necessary.

I didn't use Joe's tree care because the estimate was too expensive. I hope they should come up estimates that look reasonable in the future. I will not call them up for another estimate in the future.

He came in 45% more expensive than another estimate, and 55% more than my 3rd estimate. The price was so high, that I believe he did not want the job. He was not willing to discuss any significant aspects of the job until we were ready to sit down and write a contract.

Workers were polite and efficient. Crew arrived on time. Each had a specific job, but they worked as a team as well. They were thorough and the clean up was great. Overall, completely satisfied with their work. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended their services to others.
