Joe's Complete Tree Service

I was on a trip out of state when my wife heard a very loud crack outside our home. When she and my neighbor checked the cause of the sound they discovered that a large tree had broken in half and the only reason that the tree did not fall on my house was that it's branches were tangled with another tree. She called four tree service companies for help. She left messages on three telephones. The only company who picked up the telephone was Joe's Complete Tree Service. After my wife explained our problem and concerns she was told that someone would come and look at the problem later in the day. This was on Monday 10/20/2014. I returned from my trip the next day and called the same four companies and left messages on their answering machines. Two of the companies called back that day and told me that they were not able to help us. Lucky for us one company called and someone came to look at the problem. They sent a crew over first thing the next morning and they cut down the dangerous part of the tree and said they would be back to finish the job in a few days. No one from Joe's ever came and I did not hear from them until four days later. Their lack of response to a serious problem was very unprofessional. If they were unable to come to my home as promised they should have at least called.

I was very impressed with Joe's knowledge and even more important, his honesty. He could have easily told me that he would cut back all the trees for the sake of a buck. Joe didn't do that. Instead he advised doing nothing. Thanks Joe for your expert advise, one that I will follow. The trees will stay as they are.

The branches on the trees that I had indicated were cut down. They were very professional. One tree was quite large and they handled it well. They chipped all of the branches and cleaned up not only the back yard but also the front and the street. Everything was left cleaner than when they arrived. I have oak trees and the squirrels are very busy and messy this time of year.

They arrived at the time discussed, worked non-stop for two hours and cleaned everything up. There were no surprises. Everything discussed with Joe happened the way he said. Good job.

Excellent.....He was ontime and the job was done as he said and the crew did a great job in cleaning up the debris left behind.

Called office Wednesday morning, George was here that afternoon to go over what we wanted, answered all our questions, gave us some suggestions and good advice. He gave us a good estimate, and based on Angie's List reviews we hire him. Thursday we received call they could be here Friday between 1 and 3 pm. Crew arrived Friday at 12:30pm and worked continuously through the heat... all afternoon until all jobs were completed. Joe's crew was courteous, friendly very professional..they worked safely and carefully around our property, working in some tight areas between pool and fence and left everything neat and clean. We are so pleased with their work, with everything trimmed, backyard is so much brighter. Joe's crew did a great job and we highly recommend them.

Joe, himself visited my property to give me an estimate, He recommended pruning the Oak as it is a largely health tree in need of the removal of some weak arms. As one of those weak arms had fallen recently, onto my roof I agreed to the pruning. Last year we tried another tree service in trying to save the Maple tree, they set up IV's. It didn't work. Joe took one look at that Maple tree and said sadly it has to go. The Cherry tree we already knew was long past time to be taken down. Joe explained in great detail what his crew would do. He gave me a written estimate which was the exact price I paid. I had to reschedule due to work commitments and Joe was cheerfully accommodating. The crew arrived on Friday at the appointed time and worked quickly, safely and cleanly, they chipped everything they cut and the next day Joe arrived with a large truck to remove the largest pieces of the fallen tree.

They were fine and they did the job. They came when they said.

The crew arrived on time, and performed all the work that was promised while ensuring that they didn't interfere with the masonry work that was simultaneously going on. All of my trees and my property line look great. I'm completely satisfied, will hire them again, and will recommend them to all who inquire as to which tree service they should hire.

The estimate and scope of work was done by Joe's, the owner. He went over the work we wanted done and remembered all of the details. He actually talked us out of a few things that he thought were unnecessary. We thought that the price was reasonable for the extent of the work to be done. He told us what day he was coming, and set the time of his arrival the day before. When we asked about insurance coverage, Joe had an insurance certificate emailed to us from his insurance agent. The crew was there right on schedule, and helped us out by positioning the trucks to allow the morning school buses to get through. They were very careful of both our property and our neighbor's (since one of the trees leaned over the fence). The were careful to move anything that might be in the way of falling branches. They worked efficiently and safely and did a great job cleaning up after the work. We were very pleased with the work done, and would happily use them in the future.

Came on time and gave estimate, signed contract. Took tree down while at work when I got home tree was gone. Had some divetshad to fill with top soil, now less leaves to rake.

Joe came to the house, prepared the proposal, and scheduled the work with my wife. When we felt that one tree wasn't trimmed back enough, he came back and trimmed the tree back more, at no additional cost.

I called Joe's Tree Service last week and Tuesday (twice) and ask for estimate to trimming. The lady take my address and phone number each time, but no one call me back and follow up at all. Should I continue waiting until someone has time to pick up the phone?

Outstanding. Response was prompt, staff very professional, quality of work excellent, and staff very responsive to questions and took their time to explain everything. I had a very large tree with a huge root ball that grew about 1 foot out of the ground and extended out about three feet. The tree was not only removed very quickly, but they made sure the stump and surrounding roots were ground down to make the areas look very nice. In comparison with family and friends, the price for this job was an absolute bargain, they are very competitively priced. Everything cleaned up after the job. I recommend this company without reservation and would suggest anyone in their service area to contact this company when considering tree removal.

They came when they said they would, addressed all of my concerns, and did a nice job with the tree.

Met with Joe and his team at our house on 4/19/2014 to review the work we needed done. They didn't quote and run, but took the time to go over all the work and what was going to happen. They called the day before, as promised, and were on time to do the stump grinding. The work was excellent and they removed all the larger pieces as we had agreed upon. The price was within our budget for the work, a value considering the excellence of the service. I had no personal recommendations for this company, only the Angie's List reviews and this alone was worth the subscription. Thanks to all for their hard work.

I can sum up the work as Affordable, Professional, Efficient and Timely. I could not have asked for better service. Joe stopped by my home within 48 hrs of my initial call, gave me a reasonable quote for the job, walked me through the Huntington permit process and returned within days of permit approval. His team was extremely professional and completed job as described. They even took a few extra stumps out for me and left the site clean and neat. A superior tree service!

These guys were great. They ground up the stumps of the trees, cleaned up all the debris from the trees, and made the areas look great. All of Joe's workers were polite, and friendly and were very thorough. I highly recommend these folks for any work and I will absolutely be calling Joe again for work in the future.

Joe was always prompt in returning calls and letting us know what was transpiring. He arrived for the estimate when promised, was, in my opinion, very knowledgeable and professional. I didn't observe the actual work but my wife did. When it was completed she phoned me and told me how impressed she was with the work crew. They worked together like a well oiled machine, completed the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would have no hesitation doing business with Joe in the future and would recommend him and his team highly.
