Very expensive. Needed to replace kitchen faucet as ours was broken. we bought a new one ourselves and just needed to have it installed. Simple job. First the charge $69 just top come to the house, and it is not included in the price if they do the job. It is on top of the job price. Since we were desperate (we have a holiday party this week) we had to have the job done. Took less than an hour. $638. This seems very expensive for less than an hour's work. Should have taken the quote and gone elsewhere but did not have the time to look for another plumber.

I have no complaints, I would use them again.

They had to open up the wall and solder a pipe. To make a long story short, the insulation caught on fire and they set my house on fire. Every part of the house had damaged. Was out of the house from Feb to Oct 2019. Over 100K. They started such a night mare for me and my family. I hope my insurance company went after them

It worked out fine. The toilet works perfectly.

Unbelievable...total and complete rip-off. This is the guy who rips off little old ladies because they don't understand what is entailed with the work. You know the guy who tells people that their whatchamacallit isn't working properly with their thingamajigs when they know full well that the customer has no idea what they are talking about and they are blindly trusting snakes in the grass like this guy, the owner of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Deer Park, NY . Price gouging, heartless bastards like this should not be allowed to have a license to perform work.

The gas line shut off work was successful. However when the technician turned the gas back on, he blew the regulator on the gas line, causing a gas leak. I called Public Service. They shut off my gas for 12 hours, and then it took 3 visits from Public Service to correct the damage caused,

He starts calling me doc, which was strange. I felt like he was taking advantage of an old man as I'm 84. He called his boss when I was right next to him and said that he thought I seemed confused. Of course I seemed confused he was shooting off quotes and prices for all these different things. He should have put it down on paper. I told them I was not interested and it still took a while to get him out of the house. When I asked him what his name was he said Mike. When I spoke with the owner he said the guy he sent out was named Anthony and it was on his uniform.

Very well! Everything went smoothly. Problem was evidently manufactured freezer problem with three different parts and visits.700

Great, Dave did the inspection ...then continued the work he felt was necessary..and as to his ability, professionalism, I will have him back. I also bought a contract that was sold to me by their direct manage team that set up appointments for throughout the U.S. Kevin at the Deer Park , Long Island office was extremely helpful to me, and understood my surprise that although the Telemarketers called to make an appointment” as soon as you can”... I later found out that there was a thirty day wait for the contract that covers up to $2000 credit, every 3 months ,, a $500 credit. HOWEVER, THAT TELEMARKETING TEAM WAS INSISTENT THAT I MAKE AN INSPECTION APPT AND ANY WORK DONE WILL BE PART OF MY CONTRACT. THE SALES PERSON MADE ME AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE REQUIRED INSPECTION 2 weeks before my contract Thirty Day waking period.

They were punctual and work was performed quickly and neatly. Quality of work itself was excellent. But they were way over-priced for a relatively small job. Also, if you refuse service you are still charged a fee ($89 at the time I used them) for the service call.

Not as terrible as an "F" give them the next one. So he saw what I needed in the toilet tank. I explained to them that there was a run on the toilet kept, the water just kept running into the toilet. There was a noise like something was overflowing in the tank. I had removed the cover for him, so when he came into the bathroom, I showed him what was going on. He said oh you need a new ball cock, I think that's what it's called, you can buy at a plumbing supply store. Then he turns around and tells me okay that's going to cost you $300. At the time I didn't think it was the wrong price, I had no idea what the pricing was like for this particular item. Then I said while you are here I have a leak in my kitchen faucet, so he goes to check that out and says I need a part replaced in the hot and cold water side, that's going to cost you $400. That seemed kind of expensive to me and he said why don't we just replace the whole faucet. He says he has a faucet out in his truck, can he put in a new Delta faucet. I had a Moet at the time. So he said between both jobs I'm doing for you here, the labor and the cost of the parts and all this and that, it's going to cost you $800 plus tax. And I paid it. I found out later on by talking to other people, that was a very exorbitant price I paid, you should try and get at least a partial refund from the company. I went back and forth with them for 2 weeks and I finally talked to someone in an executive position, let's put it that way. Who ever I spoke to the corporate office, straightened it out with them somehow and I got a full refund back. I would absolutely not use them in the future.

. He did the required work and both products are functional. I my estimation he lied about the price of the faucet sold through Home Depot saying it cost around four hundred dollars. Ichecked various models at their website and most cost between fifty five dollars and one hundred fifty or so. What a revelation! It pays to check these things before calling anyone first!!!

They were very professional and I will probably use them again.

Bill the assigned plumber did a great job and took his time explaining my options. He couldn't have been anymore professional and gracious in my home and on a Sunday. Thanks very much to him and Benjamin Franklin plumbing.

The plumbers are always prompt, and arrive in well equipped trucks. On the one occasion the necessary part was not on the truck, a quick phone call and the part was promptly delivered to the door so the work continued.

They are quick, professional and did a great job.

They were very good about giving me options on what I wanted to do to make a decision. I opted to rebuild my faucet and he ended up finding a lot of problems underneath the sink, including a leak that I didn't know I had. I ended up spending more money than I thought, but I had 2 problems fixed, one of which I didn't even know I had. He was here until about 5pm but he did everything properly and did a very good job. I would recommend them.

It didn't go well at all. It was a total ripoff

Everything went well. The plumber had to open up part of the basement ceiling to reach the pipe to be replaced./

He spent 3 hours over a 2 hour period and told us the pipe could not be snaked and needed to be replaced. We called another company and they were able to fix the problem without replacing the pipe. Saving us $1200.

Everything went well. They were prompt and very knowledgeable. They were good.

I felt that each employee was very scripted in their communication. They state they can repair the issue and advise of cost for a new product. The price for repair and new product is so similar it makes it makes it seem like a good deal to just buy new. They also state they only guaranty new products and not repairs. It is a scam. They use a small machine that you need to sign for the service. I couldn't see the entire invoice and had no idea what I was signing. They actually took my old shower head with them. They had no right to take it and I had to ask for it back. I have never been so aggravated in my life.
