We are happy with Burnwell Gas. We just wanted to get the furnace installed before the Winter came and they fit us in. There weren't a lot of heat runs without cutting more in but it heats well, it's fine. They pushed us into their schedule quickly. They were good, they showed up when they said they were going to.

I went over to their office to get an estimate for installing a 35K BTU heater. The Service Manager,Randy Moore gave me an estimate quickly. I did not have to wait at all. He said that he would need to order the heater from N.J. ,and based on his experience, he estimated that the heater would arrive on the 12th of Nov. then he said it would be installed on the 13th. I was asked to make a 50% deposit in the amount of $702 which I did, and it was agreed that the remaining 50% will be paid upon completion of the job. On the 12th of Nov., I saw the Truck of Griffith Energy on my driveway (this is a day earlier than the projected installation date)Randy Moore then told me that the weather forecast for our area is not good and since he got the shipment earlier than expected, he thought he might as well have it installed before the weather gets bad in our area(he learned about the forecast). They got the work done that same day,and I paid the remaining 50% balance. The next day I noticed something about the routing of the gas line and I called Randy Moore. In less than half an hour, one of Mr Moore's service guys was in our house to address the problem. After about 3 days or so, we noticed that the thermostat wasn't working right,I called Randy Moore again and in no time, one of his men came to the house with a new replacement thermostat. I wish everybody in the service business were as conscientious and as professional as Mr Moore and his service guys. Earlier, perhaps 2 days after the job completion, received a bill for $1,404. When I called the Burnwell office for clarification, the woman whom I talked to said(in an unapologetic and seemingly annoyed tone)said:"We bill all our customers". (My question:EVEN THOSE WHO HAVE FULLY PAID?) I would have appreciated a polite reply to my query. That's why this company did not get a straight "A" from me.

I give them an A rating overall except the price was average for that job.
