Metro Glass & Mirror

It was competitive at the point. Two people came out to complete the service. It took them maybe two hours to complete the work. The whole project was done well. They did exactly what I wanted, which was a bit unusual and out of the ordinary.

We used Brian (Metro Glass & Mirror) for our bathroom shower enclosures and the custom glass enclosure in our master. Could not have been happier with the work, price and quality of service during our first job. Since we are still finishing our basement and have another custom shower enclosure to install and mirrors for the workout room we saved Briians contact information to call when ready for pricing and install. Brain came to the house late June to review the installation location for mirrors and asked that we finish installing the baseboard floor and window trim molding before he could measure and price the final installation. He came back a second time on September 2nd to measure and quote the job saying it would be a few weeks for installation since they were super busy. After months of waiting, multiple texts saying it would be 'a few more weeks' and finally trying to contact Metro through Angies List ; it is time to move on!!! Nice guy and good quality work but BEWARE , if he says something is going to take a few weeks - RUN AWAY and find another vendor because that is his way of saying your job is not important. Probably a good idea to change the company name to Metro Glass and drop the 'mirror' from the logo because they don't seem to really follow through on mirrors.

Brian and his son were one of the BEST contractors I have had the opportunity to hire. They were both professional and courteous. I received a very reasonably priced quote for replacing my sliding shower door and frame in my master bathroom. Also, they went out of their way to have another company apply a special film to the glass that I had requested. Their work is meticulous, clean and of the highest quality. I highly recommend them to anyone!

It went very well. Brian and Lynn were very easy to work with. They were responsive, punctual, reliable and, based on the wall/door results, very reliable.

Firstly, let me get the bad part out of the way. As a Jets fan, it pained me to let Buffalo Bills fans through my door. That being said, I am very glad that I did allow Brian and his son in. They are very professional and did an amazing job. The price was very fair and the service was exemplary. If you are looking for a service that Brian offers, I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Arrived on time. They arrived but had to leave b/c my measurments were off on the pane, but they came back the same day and promptly fixed the pane in the door.Very nice and accomodating.

Metro Glass and Mirror is the BEST! Very quick to respond to our Angie's list request. Easy to coordinate for the first site visit and very flexible with timing for the appointment. (Big advantage over other competitors in our area). The other companies on Angie'swere difficult to book for appointments and slow to respond. Net, net - almost everyone gave the same quote price for the job but Metro wins out by a landslide due to hospitality and customer service. 2.5 weeks after our initial quote the new glass and doors arrived and they were installed within four hours. Overall, very professional , experienced and I would use them again and again.

Prompt, friendly and courteous! They did a wonderful job for a legitimate price. I wanted glass that would protect my furniture from UV sun rays and they were able to accommodate this request. The installation was efficient and not messy. Would be glad to have them do work for me again.

Brian was professional from the initial contact, through the estimate, and the day of work. He did a great job for us at a fair price. I would recommend him and call on him again for future services.

Everything went well. Installer was a perfectionist, so the job was of high professional quality. We shopped around and Metro Glass had the best price with the most value. It was an ideal situation. It's been my experience that the really good contractors on Angie's list become really high in demand and then jack their prices up. So it becomes very difficult to find an excellent contractor with a reasonable price and value. Metro Glass was a great find on Angie's list. I hope they continue to be reasonable.

Even though this was a very small job, Brian came quickly to give us an estimate. He placed the order for parts needed and came back to install within a few weeks. He was very neat, courteous and professional. Very easy to work with Price was very reasonable. Will definitely call again.

They provided design and technical assistance to select the best system. They offered a fair price. They came to take dimensions and had custom size glass made. They installed the glass without the smallest mistakes. They were able to meet a tight schedule, provided excellent customer service.

Brian was terrific to work with. I had 5 quotes and Brian was by far the best price. Brian was also very prompt in getting me the quotes and had the fastest turnaround time with the installation. He was able to order and install all 5 custom windows in 2 wks time, while others needed at least 2-3 wks. Brian came personally himself to measure and install the windows.

Brian and I spoke on the phone several times, and he offered a fair hourly rate for the job. Even though they were not involved in the design or installation, he was willing to come and finish this small job for me. He squeezed me in one day and did a fine job on 10 panels, 2 sides, top and bottom, about 200 ft of gasket. He came, did it, and left the bill - we never even met! Something that finally went right, for a change.

Brian and his son were punctual and professional. They installed a frameless shower door in a master bathroom, and a semi-frameless glass door in a smaller bathroom. They were neat, their work was clean, and they vacuumed up after they were done. The bathrooms look beautiful; what a difference a shower door makes! I am very appreciative of their work, and would definitely hire them again!

Great father-and-son team. They immediately understood what we were looking for and we we able to communicate about hinges and handles over email when the time came. Fast, efficient, friendly and the shower is beautiful and sturdy and keeps the water inside. Felt their prices were very fair and we will call on them again.

They came on time to measure both showers and were very exact in their measurements. They were excellent In suggesting how to support the walls, where to place the door, and what handles to use. Brian, the owner was extremely professional; arrived on time, install was done with zero problems and the job site, my home, was treated with respect and left in a clean state. Prices, very reasonable considering the extent of the work. I had quotes from other companies and this price was best. They even included a glass treatment that others wanted to charge for. I would not hesitate to hire them again. As a matter of fact we have another job that will be ready shortly and I will be hiring them again soon.

I had a broken pane of mirror in a three pane vanity. To Angie's List! I found that there was a glass business right around the corner from me in Croton on Hudson, not more than 5 minutes from my home! I had always traveled to Ossining for glass or mirrors when needed (not often), but it is still at least a 20 min. drive, so I was already ahead! I took one of the other panes from the vanity to Metro Glass and Mirror so they could try to match it. After examining the pane I had brought him, Brian not only found a remnant big enough to cut a new pane from that he had left over from another job, but he also explained that the pane I had brought him did not have polished edges so that the edges were very sharp. He offered to polish the edges on that pane as well as the pane he was providing me with at no additional cost, just so they would both be easier to handle. Final cost? $10.00 for everything! Metro Glass was a real Angie's List find! Brian was extremely friendly and as you can tell was definitely out to please the customer. I would return to Metro for any glass or mirrors I need, no doubt about it!
