I have to say I am very pleased with Perma Ceram. I felt they provided good, personal service and my tub reglazing came out amazing - much better than I dared to hope. Both brothers are genuine and polite and provide a level of customer service that is becoming rare. Cheyenne in the office kept checking back with me while waiting on a repair needed prior to scheduling, taking that burden off of me and was always a pleasure to speak with. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call them in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I contacted Perma Ceram when we finished putting down the new ceramic tile floor in preparation for the glazing. An extremely professional 2-brother team, Al arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule to start prepping the bathroom. Roy followed right on time. I immediately felt comfortable with both and was really impressed with their efficiency and expertise; after all, they've been doing this for 30 years. Our bathroom was in very good shape so the focus of the job was really to change the color. When the glazing was complete I was asked to inspect. I picked up on 1 tiny dot on the sink that needed some extra coverage, but other than that the job was truly smooth and perfect. Roy assured me that if I do pick up on any additional dings, they will come to touch up as part of their 5 year warranty. Clean up was excellent when the job was done. From start to finish the job took 4 hours (mind you it's a small bathroom). As an alternative to ripping out a perfectly good, vintage bathroom I highly recommend Roy and Al for makeovers like this.

Al was very professional and courteous. The room was very well protected against paint over-spray, there was essentially minimal odor and the room was left spotless. We had used Perma Ceram of Westchester in a previous home many years ago with great satisfaction which is the reason why we hired them again. We are very satisfied with the work product as well as the pricing and highly recommend them.

He did a very good job, was prompt and professional and completed the job in the time frame he estimated.

They were punctual, professional, and very good about explaining everything that was going to be done, including how to clean and what not to do. They were very committed to doing a good job. Came on time, correctly estimated the time it would take, and said that they would be happy to answer any questions afterward. I'm not sure about the price, because I didn't get any other estimates.

Very good. Their representative came on a weekend to review and provided estimate. Work was done in half a day and they followed up and came back to remove any air bubbles that remained after the glazing. The staff is very courteous and professional.

After searching for a reliable provider who could reglaze my bath tub on Angies List and talking to many, I chose Roy. Roy is very professional and went over the work in detail and provided me with an estimate over email. He also asked me to check with my condo association if there were any paperwork that needed to be submitted. He called me a day earlier to confirm the appointment. On the scheduled day, he arrived on time. There were some really bad stains that he managed to get out by just cleaning using industry grade cleaners. Surprisingly, it looked so much better. Since, I was at work Roy called me and told me the tub looked very good after a through cleanup and left it to my choice to leave it as it is or re-glaze. I greatly appreciate his honesty, he could have very well hid fact and continued to re-glaze. I decided to have him re-glaze the tub anyway and he did a fabulous job. I would highly recommend Roy and his crew anytime.

The contractor who responded me on my call and worked on the project is Mr. Albert W. Carmen, the Vice President of the company. - Before the work, getting an approval from the Board by submitting a completed application form with a County License and an Insurance Certificate for the work was required, since I live in a COOP apt. Mr. Carmen was very patient and cooperative during the procedure to finally get an approval. - On the work day scheduled, he arrived promptly and was professional and courteous in manner. - It was a quick job, took 2+ hours to completely finish and left bathroom clean. Beforehand, with my buy offer to him, I, also, 1) submitted a 10% discount coupon which was on the Angie's List 2) requested him 24 inches long additional re-caulking for a sink in the bathroom He accepted and took both items above i.e., taking 10% discount without adding any charge on item 2). - His quality of work: 1) the Bathtub: looks great in the distance. It's beautifully shining. It's one of my pleasure during weekends when I have a chance to take a hot bath. I had one on the Sundy when 3 days passed since. That was my first time to use the re-surfaced after the work for having a hot bath. To my surprise and disappointment, my buttock and back had a hard time to find smooth surface on the wall & the bottom inside the bathtub entirely. I felt like sitting and leaned on the very, very, rough sand paper with tiny bumps. 2) re-caulking: again, he was generous to provide me an additional 24 inch re-caulking on the sink. The caulk is not evenly provided around the bathtub and on the sink. As a result, some spots are very thin and I can see the small portion of tiles on the walls and bathtub and another spots are thick with bumps something like that. Especially, in the corners of both bathtub and sink, I think re-working is required. I'd like to fix these spots, if I can do it by myself. To be summerized, Mr. Carmen has such a better character to take care of a job EXCEPT for a quality itself. I sincerely appreciated his taking care of this COOP work with time consuming paperwork with a bunch of patience. And I honestly believe that his quality of work could be improved on nature by his concerning about finishing in detail.

I was very pleased with the whole experience! The man arrived before his appointment, worked quickly, cleaned up well, and did a quality job. When I decided to redo my bathroomI was unsure about getting a new tub or if I should deglaze the original cast iron (they don't make em like they used to). I'm glad I decided to keep the original. Cost was comparable to what I would have paid for a new tub, but the old one is cast iron and in great shape and now looks brand new with the shiny new white finish. Very happy! Thank you! Btw, this was done almost 9-10 months ago now and it still looks the same as the day he did it.

Roy, Al and all the guys at perma ceram are wonderful! They came and refinished 2 bathtubs in my home. They worked all day, sometimes three of them working together to get our tubs done quickly. Al wasn't 100% satisfied at the finished product so he came back the next day to finish, at no additional cost to us! These guys are professional, accommodating and affordable. Highly recommend perma ceram!

It did take a while for the company to call me back to schedule my appointment. I believe I had to call a couple of times. The appointment was scheduled and the person told me they would confirm this day and time a couple of days before the actual work date. This confirmation phone call did not happen and the company just showed up to do the work. I was not sure if they would come on the date scheduled but they did arrive on time. This part of the appointment confirmation should be improved. The work was done in a timely manner and the guy was professional. He cleaned up after he was done and the bathtub looked pretty good. The only other thing to watch for are the drip marks that may show up in a couple of areas as the glaze dries. I did have a few but overall the tub looked much better.

The work was done extremely well and without issue. Originally we were going to have more work done, but when they arrived they advised that it would be a waste. They did not want to reglaze all of the tiles, as some were not in good enough condition. They were more concerned with us as customers than with taking our money. For that reason alone, we would recommend them. However, they bathtub looks wonderful. They did a great job and we highly recommend them.

He was very professional when he showed up and arrived on time. The work was done extremely quickly and well. He explained how the guarantee worked. Definitely recommend.

It was an absolute pleasure deaing with Roy Carmen of Perma Ceram. I was supplied via email with a description of the work to be done and a price quote. When Roy arrived and took a look at the job he suggested a solution that saved me almost $300.00. Instead of a complete stipping and refinishing of the entire tub only the tub's floor was redone. I can't remember the last time I dealt with a contractor who was so forthright and considerate, putting my needs before a greater profit. I will not hesitate to use his company's services again when needed in another of my apartments.

The whole way through, a great company to work with, I spoke with Mike and Roy. Bathtub looks amazing. After the initial resurfacing there was a bit of grit by the drain. They came back and took 10 mins to make it perfect! I highly recommend!

Had to re-schedule a couple of times (my fault) and Roy was very accomodating. He was on-time, neat and pleasant. Color was a great match. Highly recommend!

At first, we were pleased with our estimate, which was done by Mike, and we were looking forward to working with Perma Ceram. Mike explained that they would chemically remove the glaze that was flaking from our tub and tiles and then would re-glaze everything. We planned our entire bathroom renovation based on when Perma Ceram was coming and how long the glaze would take to dry. The day when Perma Ceram came to complete the work, the gentleman arrived on time (I believe he is one of the co-owners) and upon entering my bathroom said "We have a big problem." He claimed that Mike never told him that the tub and tiles had been previously reglazed and that our estimate was incorrect. He said the job was a 2-3 day job, not a one day job. He then called Mike right there in front of me and argued with him. Eventually he arranged for his brother to come and help him with the job, but there was a lot of obvious frustration at the situation, which made me very uncomfortable. There was no communication between the person who did the estimate and the person who came to do the job. Our tub came out very nicely, but there is significant overspray on certain parts of the walls, like under the towel bars and under the toilet paper holder, and I think that's because they were rushing to finish the job. They also left some gaps between tiles, where there is no glaze. I am very disappointed with their level of professionalism and I would not recommend them.
