The bank required us to have a well drilled on our property when we bought the house, but we did not hook it up. We continued to use the spring that was connected to the house for 35 years. On the evening of August 15 local flooding of a creek across the road took out our spring and we were without water on Friday. Late Friday I called Randolph's and left a message. They got back to me Saturday morning and was out to the house by 8:30 a.m. to look over the job. He explained thoroughly everything they would have to do. Monday evening, August 19, they came to the house with an estimate. We were unsure whether to try to test the well first, or to just put it in. Randolph's called us Tuesday evening with some questions. We also had many questions about water safety, what to do if the water wasn't good? Would we have to drill another well and so on? I asked Randolph's to come to the house after work on Thursday August 22 to chat. He did and answered all of our questions including a temporary option to just get water into the house. We decided to just get it hooked up. He told us on Friday he would call the gas company to mark the gas lines as the well is near or gas meter. He told us to call him as soon as we saw that done. Monday afternoon the gas company marked the gas lines and I called that evening. He told me he had already told his backhoe guy he would have a job that week, he would call him to see when he could be there and then call us. Wednesday morning, August 21, at 7 a.m. he called to let me know he could be there at 8 a.m. to start the project if that was ok. I said yes and he was there at 20 minutes to 8. All the crew were friendly and polite and they tried to accommodate us in every way. By 2 p.m. we had good water in our house. These guys were friendly, helpful, professional, and right on it from the get go. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Randolph's hooked up an existing well on my property into the house installing a submersible pump in the well and a new tank in the basement. This included digging a trench to bring the source pipe into the basement and electrical to hook up the pump.
