My first interaction with this person was terrible! The first time he came into my house to look over the kitchen and get measurements, he actually blew his nose onto the floor! I mentioned that he was not on the BBB but he claimed he was in another town. He also had forgotten his glasses, so he could not see what he was measuring and starting knocking things over. It was terrible! It took 3 weeks to get a response about the estimate. He never asked me what I wanted in my kitchen, he just wanted to provide a kitchen he had a design for. When he came out to show me the idea he had, he walked through my home with animal feces on his shoe, which ended up from one side of the house to other. He showed me the granite he had picked out and the images of the kitchen he wanted to put together, but there was nothing I wanted. He was not interested in anything I wanted. When I told him I did not like the granite he picked out, he became very angry! He even cursed at me! He told me he never wanted to do my kitchen and stormed out! It was very, very unprofessional!
Description of Work: This service provider was supposed to remodel my kitchen.

First before I hired him I asked if he was a single person because I wanted to hire a company with more workers so the job would get done sooner. He lied and said he had people working with him,but in reality he worked alone. Second he upped the original price we agreed on because he thought one of the walls was load bearing when it turned out not to be he still wanted the extra money, now agreed upon. And continued to play that game of asking for a bit more here and there. Than he started to complain that the work was taking longer than expected, even though he knew the house was 60 years old and needed updating before he started. Than towards the end he rushed the work he did and refused to finish the trim or put the outlets and switches in the place I wanted because he wanted to get to the next job. I had to hire two different people, one to put in the last trim & install the open bookshelves I wanted and fix the plumbing of the dish washer which wasn't installed properly and flooded my kitchen ruining the finish on the inside sink cabinet! And some one else to redo the outlets and switches Also when he did the guest bath and moved the sink to an outside wall The only thing I wanted was that the pipes wouldn't freeze. Well the pipes froze because by than he was rushing to do the next job. he came back and installed one of those heating wires which stay on in the winter to keep the pipes from freezing.I'm pretty sure that that is a poor way of solving the problem and I will have to hire some one else to do the job right. Some things he did really well, especially in the beginning and he didn't complain too much when I changed the original design I had made for the kitchen to include an island. Overall the kitchen came out beautiful. He uses pictures of it to show clients.
Description of Work: I had a total remodel of my kitchen and guest bath room. He removed 2 non load bearing walls and installed cabinets and appliances that I supplied. (He picked up the cabinets). he also installed a new back door to access the new deck I had another company install.
